I mean, I think that still comes down to dedication. IQ is based on testing standards, and it takes long study to get to that point, again a high risk high rewards situation. IQ is a very much genetic trait that followsex and ethnicity. It was the same when I worked as a CFA. Products were expected by 2pm every Friday. Supervisors worked more than us and we did plenty of 80+ hour weeks. Unless you were absolutely gifted with efficient data modeling, you worked like a slave most weeks. Pays well but you really have to love the work in those demanding careers to justify it and I didn't.

You are clearly ignorant on the military and SOF in general. Basic training is designed to reconfigure a service member. SOF selection is designed to weed people out. Totally different concepts and intentions. And plenty fail due to many factors. In SF selection, most fail to land navigation which is intelligence and adaptability not grit. GT score is a close proxy to IQ which SOF often has well above average. So plenty end up, or were, high end businessmen who hire their own bloodhounds.

I go out solo as well sometimes. Definitely not preferred as it creates a number of issues having even one decent wingman eliminates. Harder to get into a social mindset, reduces social credibility, and makes entertaining large groups of girls significantly more challenging. Most the men I know are relatively realistic, but they don't restrict themselves to potentials in their range either. Also, if the most attractive women get hit on the most, then it would require a significant percentage of men below their range hitting on them as the numbers wouldn't match up.
