Emotional instability, breaking/throwing things in the house, smoking up with a male friend, not being there for me, suicidal threats when not agreeing with her, not listening to me when I would try to talk about something important to me.

Thank you brother. Indeed, I am grateful for this subreddit as a place where I can share this and the response from everyone has been humbling and overwhelming. 🙏

Hey brother, yes I do meditate, pray and do a light workout and some soccer/football with the boys from time to time. Been trying to keep a routine. It honestly does keep things afloat for the most part..

Haha it surely did hurt and then I deleted all of the remaining chats and pictures left in my phone and such. It is the past now. I agree, I guess it will undo itself in waves.. I thought it wouldn't happen to me now but it did lol. And I agree, when I was physically active and following my goals with consistency, I didn't feel this way. In fact it showed to me how I was doing well and in my element vs how I felt confused and distracted while in the relationship dynamic with regards to my goals …

Posted here because I thought it wouldn't be a problem to post here as men. And that it can be okay to be wrong and learn and grow from our mistakes. Even if it was choosing the wrong person or self abandoning when the signs were clear. And we can love someone who isn't good for us..

Not complaining. She was doing drugs and wanted to be child free, all of which was discussed beforehand as a no-no. And constant suicide threats which weren't real. But I'm just venting here bro, not passing judgment on her, I tried my best to make it work but I'm a giver and she wasn't mature enough. Hindsight 20/20.

You can think about it once you've processed your previous experience fully. I recently divorced and am not dating but perhaps at some point I might think differently once I feel more stable in my life experience. Of course nothing is written in stone.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
