I think that's why he put the "living an awesome life of your own" in. I mean you're right, but chances are if you actually are living an awesome life there will be plenty of women wanting to be a part of it.

That's still giving them attention though. I'm no RP expert but I mean they're the opposite end of the spectrum... Why do we even bother reading/listening to what they have to say? Honestly I skip most posts that have anything to do with them. I guess it helps to reinforce TRP's point but it doesn't actually make you anymore RP. Basically they're like that super opinionated idiot everyone knows. It just gets to a point where instead of laughing at him you just stop listening because it doesn't m…

Okay... Not sure what your point is here. Obviously if you don't have the means to be charitable you aren't going to be, but this guy did and he was. It was his chose, nobody forced him. If he wants to give away all his money to charity so be it, he'll only be doing it because he enjoys it so if that's his choice I don't see why anyone else cares. He would not have made that decision if he was not happy about it. For most of us we can't give to charity because we need that money to survive, but …

I agree with you, although this guy is 70. I'm sure he's at a point in his life where he's satisfied with what he's done and achieved in his life. Sure, his retirement would've been better if he had the millions, but we really don't know that. I'm sure he's made tons of friendships based off his charity work, friendships that he'll cherish for the rest of his life. Maybe in his mind the aid that he has given to people in need, as well as meeting other like minded charitable people far outweighs …

Maybe for you, not this guy. If he didn't feel good about what he was doing he would've stopped long ago. Everyone's different, just because you don't think it's a good idea doesn't mean other people will. This guy did what he wanted to do and I'm sure he'll look back and be extremely happy with his life. Personally I'd do it differently, but if this guys wired to be happy with these decisions then so be it, good for him. We need people like him in the world, not everyone can be selfish.

Logically, yes, morally... No. It really depends on what type of person you are and if you actually have been in that situation. Personally I think if that happened to my wife I could never leave her as long as the marriage was going steady prior, but if I was forced into that situation I might make a completely different decision, who knows.

That's why you don't make plans with multiple women on the same day? You could just say I'm busy Saturday, how about Friday(/Thursday/etc)? I doubt they'd start asking questions. Maybe, okay cool what're up to then? Then all you say is going out with some friends. You guys aren't dating. If she asks more questions then just cut it off with her. Unless they are legitimate questions obviously, but if you guys aren't dating you don't really owe anything to her. She's considered a friend, but you al…

Exactly. I just think listing off everything you're doing that week is just complicating things. If the other person wants to see you they'll make it happen. Give them the day/s that you are free and work from there. I'm just thinking these girls are talking to other guys as well most likely so what's the point in making it more complicated for each other. It's not like the girl is suddenly going to think "oh wow he's busy... I didn't want his D before but I sure do now!!" Well that might happen…

I wouldn't say men and women think differently, I'd say everyone thinks differently. I got a reply to my comment from a girl saying that if you said "ya I'm busy this day, that day, blah blah blah" then they'd probably just say "well once your schedule frees up give me a call." I would say "hey I'm pretty busy this week, but I'd like to get together x day at x restaurant if that works for you" and I don't think that sounds like I'm fawning over them or being needy. There's just all different kin…

I feel like that is for girls though. Do people actually say "Ya I have this tomorrow, and that the next day, oh and this the following day but we can get together the day after that." I'd rather just say "hey I'm a bit busy this week but I'd like to see you on Thursday night, how about x bar? Maybe I'm not just not following, but listing off everything you're doing that week just makes me uninterested. I don't need to know that you're working on a project tomorrow, I'd rather know what time you…

Hey that's 1 more than me man! But really I'm sure it's better than that. Just keep givin er', you'll find someone that enjoys your company just as much as you enjoy theirs. Instead of being pissed at these girls, make them your friend then make their friends your dates. You aren't being used if you're using them back. Mutually beneficial, you make them feel good about themselves and in turn they hook you up with their friends.

I'm not going to pretend I'm some ladies man, but it sounds like you just got really unlucky. Maybe time to go into it expecting nothing in return. All they needed was validation? Oh well, they obviously weren't for you. Just move on and forget about it. I'm kind of curious to see how you found out they were just looking for validation? It's possible there was just a miscommunication. Hell it could be exactly what you're saying, but it shouldn't really be too hard to find someone that likes you …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
