2	The first rule should be to lift. I mean, running is good for a base cardiovascular capacity. If you're starting out, are out of shape, and you just go straight to HIIT, you're bound to get and injury. It's very demanding and your body needs to be ready for it. It's best to start with more distance, then work in the interval training as you get more strength and endurance, imo.
