Well judging by the tone of your post you sound defeated.

You've done 40 approaches and you're already giving up. I'm a coach and I peg my number at about 3-4 thousand at this point. I still get rejected on a regular basis and I'm still going at it. The master has failed more than the beginner has even tried. If you want to get good at this, it's part of the process.

I hate to plug what I do but look into getting a coach to teach you how to meet women. You need to have strong social skills and be able to put yourself out there so you can meet girls and start getting some experience under your belt. Learn how to cold approach! PM me if you have any more questions.

These are the ups and downs of cold approaching. I try to not lurk too much on Reddit because I find it's saturated with overthinkers and people trying to make sense of things that just are. Some women will be mean and rude to you, it's just the way cold approaching women is. You'll either let it get to you or accept the fact it's part of the process.

As a coach, what I do is help streamline the worst period when guys are learning how to meet women, which is the beginners phase (first couple of hundred approaches). Approaching women at the end of the day is fundamentally a social skill, as a man you need to have strong social skills to have a good dating life. Dating in it's essence is multiple social interactions with a person you're interested in.

I coach in New York city and I'm 100% with you about how a lot of these coaches are like snake oil salesman. I've been approaching consistently (every single week) for close to 3 years and even now I still have to do 20-30 solid approaches so I can get 5 or 6 numbers and go on 2 or 3 dates every week. I'm very transparent about this with my clients and they appreciate my honesty. It is what it is but at the end of the day what coaches are trying to do is sell coaching packages so they have to se…

It sounds like you're very in your head and overanalyze the things you say. Just talk about whatever. You need to realize that a woman will mirror how you feel about yourself back to you. If you feel like what you're saying is boring she's going to feel the same way about what you're saying. Just talk about whatever you want.

What city do you live in? I'm going crazy with the NYC covid restrictions, day game is the only viable way to meet women right now.

I'm going to play devil's advocate as I'm a dating coach. There's a reason why people pay me what they pay me to coach them and it flat out boils down to experience. There's a lot of trial and error that I learned (I'm what you guys would call a "natural") that you just can't learn from reading a book or watching a video. Unless you've invested hundreds if not thousands of hours of your life into talking to women , going on dates, trying to hook up with girls, trying stuff with girls and then fa…

Going to be brutally honest with you. Let me start with this comment of yours. "Those girls who friend zone me always say there is no problem with my personality or my looks, they say I'm a very interesting person who they enjoy talking to and spending time with, but they just don't feel that "spark" to become more than just friends." You give me a nice guy vibe. You're probably very nice and courteous and polite to girls and it sounds like you don't like to rock the boat when it comes to women.…

You may have looks my friend but what attracts women to you as a man is not going to be your looks, it's everything else. What do you have going on for you? Are you entrepreneurial, do you have passions, do you have hobbies, etc, etc, etc... Are you assertive, do you go for what you want in life? Ask yourself these questions and then you may begin to see why you're not getting women. Also, do you APPROACH. Do you go up to a girl when you see a girl you like and talk to her.

Your interactions need to be longer. At least 3-5 minutes. You're asking them boring questions. Next time you do approaches try these two things: 1) Make a ton of assumptions "You look like you're on your way to the supermarket", If she's shopping "you look like you're spending all of your money on clothes". Your conversations sound very linear and straightforward, it doesn't sound like you're engaging these girls emotions. 2) Be more flirty/playful. If the girl tells you something, don't answer…

I'm in New York. Still went on tons of dates and got laid during a pandemic in 2020, all from cold approaching. Don't let these new societal norms of "I should be social distancing" and "I shouldn't be talking to strangers" stop you from chatting women up who you find attractive wherever you see them. I still went out yesterday with a wing and chatted about 4 women up in indoor situations (Book Stores, Whole Foods and some on the street).

From my experience t's easier to attract a new girl who sees where you're at now than to attract a girl who didn't like you before and now likes you. It has nothing to do with being "Butt Hurt".

Haven’t you one day felt attracted to someone you didn’t before I've never felt attraction for a woman later on. As a guy, the attraction I feel for a woman is immediate. I know from the moment I meet a woman whether I am attracted to a woman (whether the interest is reciprocated or not). Liking people from a woman's perspective is different from a man's, we go for different things on average. What is attractive to a man won't be what is attractive to a woman. While you may describe it as a comb…

I'd treat those like a friends with benefits, she already chose other guys over you. Go find yourself some new potential partners.

Indoor stores work just fine (in NYC you're required to wear a mask). You need to be very aware of physical space however you can just open a girl by telling her you were browsing and noticed her and wanted to chat her up. (If there's initial awkwardness tell her you don't use online dating so you actually have to talk to people if you want to meet people). Make sure you express your intent, and if you get their number let them know why you'd like to stay in touch or see them again.

I write this as a 32 year old millennial who witnessed how the dating landscape changed from 2010 to what it is now. I came of age in a time when, if you liked a girl there was no other option but to go right on up to her and talk to her. If you didn't have the courage to talk to a girl you liked at a get together, at a bar, in a college class, quite simply you weren't getting laid. What people now call "cold approaching" was quite simply talking to people. From the mid 2010's (2015 or so) I sta…

This is definitely a thing, think of it from a women's perspective. An attractive woman (I don't mean porn star hot in terms of looks, I mean pretty good looking) knows she can sleep with and date most guys in her life at any given time. What other qualities can you offer as a man? Are you an innovator, do you go for what you want, are you creative? For men, our main filter is looks. Women look for other indicators in men when they decide who they sleep with or who they date (sure, looks can als…

Open: Get the woman's attention (easier said than done) she may be wearing earphones, then you might have to be more expressive with your gestures. Tell her she caught your attention and that you're attracted to her. Ask: Ask her open ended questions, i.e. "What do you like to do in your spare time" or "What are you up to". Then comment about what she's doing and make it playful. I think a lot of guys have flirting all wrong, it's about not taking yourself so seriously, having fun with the inter…

Learn how to flirt, don't just have a back and forth logical conversation with a woman. Be playful, tease, a lot of it is HOW YOU COMMUNICATE, not what you communicate. This is a sure way to create more chemistry. PM me if you have more questions.

I live in New York City. Two words, "Cold Approaching". If I see a woman I'm interested in either walking down the street, at a Whole Foods, or exiting a Coffee Shop I walk right up to her and I let her know that I find her attractive. I'll flirt and banter with her and then ask her out on a date or tell her I'd like to see her again. Now more than ever people are yearning for more social contact so it's a great time to chat strangers up and ask them out.

As a guy one thing that immediately come to mind is how good are your lovemaking skills. Girls (on average) would rather sleep with and see one guy consistently. If you're able to have sex with them on a first date how good are your skills in the bedroom? If you can make a girl orgasm during sex there's a much higher chance that she'll want to keep coming back to you time and time again and see you after only just one date. Food for thought.

Is this a girl you're talking through on a dating app or are you asking about whether you should ask a girl who you know in the real world out?

I've been approaching and meeting women in public. I think that people are craving for human connection now more than ever, it's been a very peculiar year. Don't be afraid to strike up a conversation with a total stranger, you'll be surprised at the beautiful things that may come of it when you do.

New York seducer/coach here. I took a break from cold approaching during the first lockdown (March-End of June) of 2020. I started going out last summer to approach women in the streets of New York and encountered moderate success. I expect people to yearn for more in person interactions come Spring and Summer 2021 making dating much more personable, exciting and human than ever before. Regarding that article, I find it insane that a man would drive 14 hours to meet a woman he chatted with on …
