2	Numbers on false rape accusation ? I've read anecdotes from police chiefs who put the number around 50%, for stories that don't add up. It doesn't prove anything, but it's interesting to hear about in regard to the patterns the come up again and again. I don't have a link, but I can say they sounded like competent people who want to protect women. Based on psychology, I would think it's even higher.
