How do I become the guy that gets invited out for parties rather than the guy that scrounges around on Fridays looking for something to do? I'm going to shoot a guess at this one. I was in your situation, then I realized I was hanging out with someone different, almost every day, over the course of the school year. My friend has it worse than I do - he's foreign (NZ) and people absolutely love listening to his stories, so he's always being invited to things. I think the trick is to really show someone a good time when you're hanging out. First game I've put on in over a year Problem with that is, it was hardly the right situation to go for anything more than fun - I'm moving to school in a week, and her school is 4 hours away. I'll only be home once a month, and god knows how often she'll be home. If things were different, would I have been more aggressive? Yes. But for my first real attempt at talking to someone I find attractive in a year and change, I think I did pretty well, seeing as how I wasn't going for much more than a fun night. 1	Rock Climbing as a date idea I'm surprised that rock climbing isn't a more common date idea, especially if the two of you are somewhat physically fit.
