Recap: be yourself without doing anything is reserved for vaginas. Be yourself as a man means lifting, reading, learning, and pushing yourself to become the genetically best version of yourself that you can create. I am fucking working day in and day out at this. Every night my back and legs are killing me from my time at the gym. My resume is something I'm rather proud of. I get compliments on my appearance, even from people I never hear compliment others on theirs. ...but no girl wants to fuck…

You have T levels that they can only dream about and (in their opinion) you piss that advantage against the wall. Pardon? I don't follow. Them saying 'Be Yourself' is an invitation to actually DO SOMETHING RAD. My idea of rad is TRP's advice: better powerlifting totals, awesome credit score, culturing the mind. But it hasn't helped a lick when my game is fucking awful and I'm resentful. But sure, generic advice can't work for everyone.

If you're right, then the implication is that I'm not actually good looking. Probably true. Welp. There's another thing I suck at.
/r/askTRP16/05/17 06:27 PM

Do you have hobbies? If not, get some. I love my hobbies. I throw myself into them because I gain enjoyment from them. Maybe I'm trying to make up for the enjoyment I wish I could gain from other people but don't. Go to a bar or do above said hobby you enjoy and chat with everyone and lo and behold there will eventually be a girl that might be into you. Ah there it is. Even on TRP you can still find the old "just be yourself" chestnut.

It seems like maybe you're giving off a "fuck-off" vibe to them. Yeah probably. I'm likely coming off as kind of a prick, better than other people and bored by them. Not entirely sure how to change that (if I even should) but at least understanding is the first step.
/r/askTRP16/05/17 04:53 PM

If you haven't done X, I seriously doubt you can have a good understanding of the desirability of it, one's ability to restrain themselves about it, etc. You just don't know because you don't have the experience. Your post is a rambling point that strongly implies people shouldn't have sex outside marriage, yet you also steer clear of directly saying why you think so. The result is telling people "this is how I think you and I should act" without giving them any good reasons

18 days since PMO, 9 since MO. Touched myself again very recently but just dead it seems. Saw some softcore stuff and got a halfie, but aside from that nothing has actively gotten me up. :(

I do in fact have a shirtless pic among my photos. But what's the point when I don't get laid so no girl cares what my body looks like anyway. And I'm good with messaging less. But jesus H Christ it's hard enough having enough personality and convo pushing skills for two when these vacuous chicks have nothing to contribute. How the heck I'm supposed to build chemistry I'll never know. And I've been as legitimately busy for a long time now, and it hasn't gotten me anywhere. So shit, man. That's w…

Believe it or not, I've been seeing a CBT psychotherapist every single week including yesterday. Been seeing a psychiatrist every few months and have been taking my antidepressants religiously. That's why I don't know where else to turn. If I'm still in the pits and I'm seeing a professional, maybe the masculine wisdom of the guys on here is something I haven't tried yet.

Internalized third-wave feminism is the reason people would downvote this thread. By denying the reality of how simple, incontrovertible causal relationships exist in a complex world, people are virtue-signaling that they would rather deny the truth of this topic. After all, women have traditionally had social interaction be more integral to their societal role than men. Thus, they are more sensitive to information and narratives going against their preffered interpretation of events. So when th…

This article was specifically referring to political shit tests as gatekeeping for sex, specifically. Unless my reading comprehension is bad, that's a different scenario from the sidebar stuff.

LOL. OP, have you ever encountered this shit test? Like, you're making out and getting hot and heavy, start grabbing each others shirts off, and she goes "BUT DO YOU OPPOSE RAPE CULTURE AND THE PATRICARCHY?". lol no Because this isn't a real shit test. It's a made up problem that people with too much time on their hands (including that author and you) are writing about online. Come back when this really happens IRL.

If you're one of these people thinking "what the heck are patronizing motivational posts doing here", you're probably unlike most readers of this sub. Those of us subscribed, reading, and trying to change things about ourselves and our lives are struggling - to different extents. But that nature of trying to change is difficult. With difficulty comes discouragement. And that's why this post is necessary: it speaks to the people here which involves people trying to improve and thus guys strugglin…

How did you know what you want to be? I think the trick is 1.) Identify what you already know about who you are and what you want and 2.) Not expect to know everything about yourself or what you want. This means you can't expect to identify all your desires or values or objectives, but you can certainly identify some. This gives you a good starting point, and by working towards those and life experience combined you'll clarify your ideas about the rest.

A few things You're quite deep down the introspection rabbit hole here. There's nothing inherently wrong with deep thinking or introspection, but we have to keep it in context. Some of this thinking is abstraction without usefulness, or the sort of stuff that doesn't matter once you stop thinking about it. "Why do people act in X way/treat me like Y" questions are hard. In the field of psychology it's hard enough to know why in a controlled setting, let alone life. The point is that if it's hard…

I suspect the fapping to porn has much to do with this. Have you ever tried cutting porn out of your life? Asking since I've been in this exact situation, and that's what caused it and more (like ED) in my case.

I think your question is impossible to answer. Maslow's hierarchy of needs dictates that we all have needs even if we are physically satisfied. But would any particular person need an LTR? Would it be a luxury or a necessity? What's the essential difference between a need and a "want"? You can argue about this stuff all day long, but none of this discussion is really productive when such a question can only be answered on a person by person basis.

When a girl is sucking your cock, it feels very good physically. However, your mind doesn't see it all the same. There's a difference between "she's sucking my cock because I paid her" and "she's sucking my cock because she thinks I'm hella sexy and wants to please me".

So tonight apparently CNN is livestreaming their election coverage. And Wolfie Blitzer & co are feeling mighty uncomfortable. The agitation was palpable. As a matter of principle, I try not to cherish revenge; with that said I couldn't help but enjoy watching the people visibly squirm. As a point for our newbies here, educate yourself about body language. My own father said this to me, in the "well if I'm cut then I guess you should look like me" way. I don't blame him, but it doesn't mean I need to buy into that way of thinking. How did your "Now I don't think so" way of thinking come to be? I personally rejected the "because we've done it this way before" line of thinking, but that alone doesn't provide a good prescription for the future. What influenced you to siding against circumcision?

its seem to me, given a choice between a misogynistic, and an misandrist, we'd pick the man. seems to be Americans still value male leadership, irregardless of the faults, over a conniving woman. Don't put too much stock in this. Hillary will likely win the popular (total number of votes, period) vote or come very close. As a practical matter, nearly all presidential elections (regardless of candidates) are quite close percentage-wise, so drawing conclusions about society from this is . . . fool…

Not all of us here are Trump supporters. While this sub and community indexes high for alt-right and Trump voters, there are still various political ideologies represented here. With that said, the more important thing is that Hillary lost. Regardless of the merits or flaws of Trump, keeping Hillary and the prospect of her awful social policies out of power is the biggest win here tonight, whether you're a Trump fan or not.

Yeah sex is good. Very good. But be warned it's not like masturbation, and it's not like porn taught you. Fucking with another human is a new experience, and no matter how much you've fucked yourself you won't be prepared. That's ok. You can't learn to drive on a highway from just playing Mario Kart. I've talked to my parents because I was venting to them and they suggested I talk to an RA though I'd rather solve it with him, he's just not cooperating. Do any of you have any advice on my situation? And why are you here if you're telling us the advice other people gave you? You gonna talk to the RA or not? But based on the way you asked someone else, they gave you advice, and you didn't act on it, it probably doesn't matter what we say since you won't act on our advice either.

If you're improving yourself as a man, this trip is neither a referendum on your worth nor an opportunity to be squandered. In other words, if you hit a grand slam it's great, but if you strike out it doesn't mean much. Honestly, neither your background of BP relationship nor your future is too unique. Most of the guys here are AFCs or BP converts. So if you have specific questions, those may help you more. Ask away.

See most guys come to find TRP because of lack of sexual success. Thus, there's more emphasis and attention on sexual strategy and seduction. So when a guy comes here and says "yeah I fuck" he's in the minority. When you come here and say "but I want a relationship" . . . why are you asking here? There's stickied threads and the sidebar and the recommended books and the search bar . . . but you're not set? What do you want from us? What exactly do you want to know?

I have developed enough rapport with this girl I am interested in to finally ask her out and did so earlier today. This girl is a solid 9 so I was surprised when she said she'd love too. So here arises my dilemma; my approach was ubër beta and I dont know if shes just being nice or not. You don't need to worry about why she said yes. It's a waste of your mental energy. You're the thick skulled one here, I'm afraid. You tried to take the concept of "frame is important even when fucking someone you paid to do it", which is a provocative statement. With a thesis that outlandish, the onus is on you to make your case. And I don't think you were as convincing as you thought you were.
