The part of about facing assault and harrasment also hurts, since I hear so many horror stories about awful things happening to woman in public or on subway stations. Spot on, and I feel like no one talks about Sarah not confessing to Bear, and only Bear being a coward for not confessing. I dont know why you're getting downvoted, but I agree with what the film was saying for the most part. I just felt weird at the scene where he says "what's so wrong with being woth me" because I thought it felt out of place. I think the scariest part was that they made him so relatable in the beginning of the film, before basically assassinating him once he uses the one wish willow, and everything goes down hill. I can't tell if the film is saying that Bear was always bad, or if the wish for love in of itself is fundamentally wrong.

I define manosphere people as folks like Andrew Tate, Clavicular, Fresh & Fit. I sadly have not, because I feel like it would not go over well. Like I said, any form of male advocacy or criticism of feminist critique in these spaces immediately gets you marked as a loser incel type. And I've already been on thin ice just because I was designated as "the jester" of the friend group (the jester being that one friend who everyone is ok with making fun of, and he pretends like it doesn't bother him. I could go into so much more detail with things such as the male loneliness crisis benig framed as a problem with men not reaching out, even though most feminists think randomly approaching a women is creepy and predator behavior. Another funny thing is the whole "men aren't entitled to female attention" which is fine and all, but then you'll see other men and women alike make fun of guys for not knowing how to interact with women properly.
