It doesn’t matter how biased this audience is. Something like 2% of men earn 200K or more annually. Given her situation, her request is indeed delusional (as you noted.)

While "wife guy" can mean a lot of things, the part of your post that I locked in on was the fact that you left a life in NYC that you loved because she gave you an ultimatum to move to the Midwest. This almost never works out in practice. Even if you give a woman what she demands in an ultimatum, she still loses respect for you if you cave in to her demand. Women are happiest when they join a man's program/orbit. I also agree with the other commenters when they say you shouldn't assume that she…

This is a great write up. Content that focuses on relationships from the male perspective tends to get bashed, but many channels focusing on such content have been calling out the main point you made for years. When women list things that they believe make them high value, they list things they value in men not things that men value in women. One thing I would add to look for: pay attention to how she reacts when you reasonably deny her something that she wants. Not a denial made out of spite or…

As I’m guessing you already know, women never really have a problem picking men. The issue is securing commitment. A lot of these cougars will crow about their success picking up young men and then complain about how they can’t find a man who wants something serious.

So many modern women are taking actions that make them feel better in the short term but harm themselves in the long term. Think of how many men will start pulling away from dating completely when they realize that some women are putting them on blast via Facebook and TikTok.

Viewing your wife as your best friend is almost always a mistake. A true best friend doesn’t resent you and think “I didn’t sign up for this” when your perceived value drops.

Great read. I don’t have much to add, so I’ll just say that your post’s theme and its example vividly illustrate that old joke about women. “Women only want two things: more and something else.”

I’ll just say the more emotional of the two is most likely to engage in the behavior you described. I’ll leave it at that.

A key difference is that women aren’t bombarded by videos/commentary on social media, television, and in digital print about how terrible they are. Men who make such content are quickly (and sometimes justly) labeled misogynists, sexists, or narcissists. Women who make such comments about men tend to be held up as brave for speaking out, or at a minimum, get their complaints taken seriously as issues that need to be addressed by society.

It wasn’t coincidence that she would ask you to do things when it was extremely inconvenient for you. That is attention seeking and controlling behavior. The way you are handling it now is how people should strive to behave from the beginning of a relationship. They should insist that excessive complaints be converted to respectful requests and that requests have reasonable parameters. I get that it’s easier said than done, but nagging only gets worse if it’s condoned, or worse, rewarded.

That’s incredible that you lost that much weight. I’m sorry you went through your divorce, but it’s very inspiring to hear how you focused your energy on positive improvements.

Their feelings are their reality. If she got angry at something you did (or thinks you did), you must be at fault because otherwise she wouldn’t be angry. It’s essentially why emphasis on logic or facts is so pointless in a disagreement with a woman. You’re better off just telling her what actually happened and then just distancing yourself until her emotions subside. You aren’t responsible for “fixing” her emotions when you are with her, so certainly don’t concern yourself with them after you’v…

It’s pointless to go to counseling with someone who can’t introspect or admit some fault for bad outcomes. All the person will do is present his/her case to the counselor and try to “win.” I would tell your wife that you aren’t trying everything/anything because you don’t see a scenario where she will put in actual work to improve your marriage.

In all honesty that post is tame compared to what some women say in their venting TikTok videos. I see them via reaction videos on YouTube and it’s some of the most insufferable content you can consume. Imagine videos of women saying things like men taking women to dinner and on vacations is “bare minimum” activity that only benefits guys. Apparently “real men” (simps) give women lavish gifts and pay their bills, even if they aren’t married.

Two comments: 1) This is a perfect example of female behavior that either makes a man harder or softer (no sexual innuendo intended.) You either keep letting a woman like this walk over you, or you realize that she is an adult who makes terrible decisions and let her face the consequences. 2) This is also a perfect example of why you don’t give a woman information like the passcode to your phone, even if you have nothing to hide. You just don’t know what she’ll do with it when the switch in her …

I understand that you aren’t feeling suicidal anymore, but I think your highest priority should be to get in some form of therapy. If nothing else, you should address your abandonment issues which are probably related to the speed with which you pursued a serious relationship with your wife, despite her difficult situation. Sadly, it does sound like your marriage is over, and armed with the information you provided I would agree with the poster who thinks your wife used you. The good news is tha…

Short answer: Do a search on Briffault’s Law. Longer answer: Women have evolved to love their male blood relatives unconditionally and to conditionally love their lovers/boyfriends/husbands based on how they make them feel and what they provide. It’s pretty jarring for men when they first realize this, but once they truly accept it and adjust their behavior accordingly it’s like gaining a superpower.

There’s actually a term for that rewriting of her life: the light switch effect. The rewriting also tends to occur In waves. In a subsequent revision, she’ll claim to have let you know SO many times that she was unhappy.

This is the most useful comment here. OP should obviously consult a lawyer, but in most states the principal of what is inherited belongs to the beneficiary. OP may have to split the gains on top of that, but shouldn’t be worried about his father’s hard earned money going to his potential ex-wife.

I know it probably doesn’t help, but understand that the vast majority of their complaints tend to be focused on what they feel they aren’t getting. Anything egregious that they’ve done that factored into the situation won’t enter their heads. I suggest you find another gym, as exercise will be very important as you work through this situation.

It’s like that old saying: a woman meets a guy she likes and thinks about the ways she can change him to better suit her, while a man meets a woman he likes and thinks of ways that will keep her from changing.

I know that was a lot for you to write. I’m very sorry to hear that you are going through this. I’ll start by stating what you already know: your wife is a serious alcoholic. I don’t know if you’ve considered taking advantage of a resource like Al-Anon, but you might find it useful. That suggestion is definitely targeted towards helping your mental health. Of all the things your wife is doing, the most glaring is that she’s drinking and driving with your kids in the car. That issue has to be add…

That was a long read but I hope writing it out was cathartic for you. My top of mind thoughts: 1) Your wife sounds like an abusive alcoholic, 2) you made some mistakes, but you are/were way too self critical, and 3) I wish some one had handed you a copy of “No More Mr. Nice Guy” on your 21st birthday. I wish you the best and please don’t let shame or stigma stop you from working with a therapist.

I’m obviously not familiar with your situation, so I have no business telling you how to feel. I will say that I think people who indulge in schadenfreude (taking pleasure in the suffering of others) tend to lose something of themselves. She left and then found out the streets are cold, so she tried to get her spot back. None of that indicates that she feels differently about you or has done the introspection necessary to change. Stay on your course of self improvement and don’t look back. The (misplaced) guilt will subside.

This is true, but in some states (I believe South Carolina is one) infidelity can cause someone to lose his/her claim to financial assets and/or support. That’s a form of getting the raw end of the stick. There are of course states where that doesn’t matter in the slightest.

I wish I could upvote this twice. The only thing I would tweak in your suggestion to OP is that he should meet women organically by doing things HE enjoys. This early after a breakup, half the battle is just focusing on enjoying life and taking advantage of your freedom. Additionally, by pursuing his interests OP is more likely to meet people who share them.

Apple has something called a Legacy Contact that allows you to pass down your digital identity. You can take care of it from your iPhone. I’m not sure about Android, but I’m guessing that platform has a similar feature. https://support.apple.com/en-us/102631 EDIT: I should have added that you could put a note with your non-Apple passwords on your phone (I’d recommend doing that locally on your device not via an iCloud note) if you feel comfortable doing that. You are right about the view of men as playthings (I would substitute the term court jesters) for entertainment. Many modern women also see men as ATM's for their spending needs and scapegoats for any outcomes that they find less than optimal.

You told OP the truth without sugarcoating it. I think it’s easier for a marriage to recover from a dead bedroom than a situation where a wife is overtly disrespecting and demeaning her husband. When she does that, she’s showing you that she’s checked out.
/r/Divorce_Men12/10/24 03:30 AM
18

It’s because showing her that you have the will to leave and making her realize someone else can fill her spot are the only things that can eradicate her “I deserve” mentality. As long as she thinks you’ll stay, she either believes she’s entitled to what you give her or that your role as husband/boyfriend obligates you to provide for her unconditionally.

This is a great comment, but sometimes it’s even simpler than your mind playing tricks on you. It could just be the memory of amazing sex. I was having dinner with an ex-girlfriend years after our breakup, and I began silently wondering why I had ended things with her rather than turning our relationship more casual, since we had great sexual chemistry. At one point we were talking about current events, which led to her making a very cruel outburst in an angry (borderline hateful) voice. Her com…

I’m just curious, what does she say when you point out that you are supporting the family financially and you need her to do more to carry the load around the house? If she is disdainful or dismissive, that’s a major red flag (and would be my braking point, to answer your specific question.) Especially if you are doing so much that the stress is having a depressive effect on you. There is a theory that women love their blood relatives unconditionally, and that they love their husbands conditionally based on the resources provided and the feelings that are generated. The way your story reads it sounds like your wife turned off emotionally right after she got what she needed from you. I imagine she views the investment in her father’s house as a win/win, since it helps him in the short term and puts more money in an asset that she’ll eventually inherit. In short, she and h…

They’ve always been that way. I am a big fan of the late comedian Patrice O’Neal, and he hosted a very funny yet enlightening radio show on relationships from a man’s perspective. He mentioned that you never hear women use phrases like, “You know, I was just wrong” or “fair enough” during disagreements. Even their apologies tend to be slightly disingenuous statements that don’t acknowledge wrongdoing such as, “I’m sorry you feel that way”, or “I’m sorry your feelings are hurt.” The sad thing is …

My bad, I didn't mean to assume. If you know your life would be improved by having a partner, then I would agree that a future marriage decision gets complicated if your partner's net worth is well below yours. I'd also be very frustrated if I were in your situation. Unfortunately, I think divorce court reform is pretty far off in this country (if you are American.)

The only thing I would add to this is to always remember how differently women view vows. She views the vows you make to her as something she now deserves, but she views the vows she makes to you as parts of a deal that can be altered if her feelings change.

I echo what all the other commenters have said about marriage pressure being a huge red flag. Your gut speaks to you for a reason, so pay attention. I obviously don’t know you but just based on what you’ve been through, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with you. There are only two reasons for a man to get married in present times (and neither is great:) 1) If you want to have children (the man doesn’t really benefit, but children have the best upbringing when they are raised by married parents, so it’s best for the kids.) 2) If you are extremely religious and you can only have guilt-free sex if you are married. It looks like you have learned this, but TRP principles actually have very little to do with a specific political affiliation. In my opinion, two of the most significant TRP icons are Patrice O’Neal and Tom Leykis. Patrice was pretty much politically neutral, and Leykis certainly leans left. The relevant point is that both championed the ideas of men putting their needs first (ahead of pleasing women or society), and dedicating themselves to self improvement. They both also religiously stated th…

There’s nothing that feminists and family courts love more than moving the goalposts. For feminists, it’s an extension of their “heads I win, tails you lose” mentality. For the family courts, it’s more revenue for the lawyers and judges who sort these cases out. What possible rationale could there be for forcing someone to hand over assets after a one year relationship that didn’t result in marriage?

My takeaway lessons (which won’t be new to people who do any reading on this sub) are: 1) Never get married; 2) Never live together; 3) Once you follow 1 and 2, never underestimate the power of your ability to leave; 4) Never underestimate a woman’s ability to rationalize an action, no matter how selfish, evil, or ridiculous it is.

That’s true. She could have been badly hurt. It’s also probably true that he told her twenty times to get out of his car, and she told him to fuck off. The responsibility goes both ways. He should have just parked his car, thrown her out, locked it, and walked off. Of course, then she probably would have smashed the windows and keyed the doors. Quite the dilemma.

Yes, and the brazenness of their “I deserve” demands will separate the men from the simps. Men will tell women they don’t deserve shit; women should only get what they’ve worked for. Simps will always support the fiction that women are queens, who should be served.

It’s comforting to know that these broads have moved to the bargaining stage of dealing with loss. This is a brilliant comment. Maybe someone has made the observation before, but n-th wave feminists seem to be going through the five stages of grief. Most women live in a world of “I deserve” and that fact allows them to justify almost anything to themselves. The problem (for them) is that you can never really have personal success if you don’t have the ability to take responsibility for your actions. All you can do is leech off of others.

When they are mad or hurt, women love saying things like “feelings are never wrong” or “well, that’s just the way I feel.” As soon as a guy says he is upset/angry about something a woman does, it becomes “a real man shouldn’t feel that way”, or “you’re a sexist piece of shit for getting upset about that.” Duplicity in action.

Since then, I’ve found the word ‘nice’ to be a grievous insult. When a woman you are dating calls you "nice" or "sweet", she's usually doing one of two things. She's either telling you she's not attracted to you (this was obviously your case), or she's passive-aggressively shit testing you, and trying to make you feel defensive about being weak. In either case, just laugh and agree, and then withdraw your attention. In the first case you weren't going to get her anyway, and in the second case yo…

AWALT. Women are very good at projecting responsibility onto men for poor outcomes, and not very good at accepting it. How many times have you heard someone being told to “woman up”, or to “be a real woman” and solve her problem? Women’s problems are viewed as society’s problems, and men’s problems are viewed as things men need to fix themselves.
/r/MGTOW12/12/17 03:27 PM

The issue is that women make poor decisions and then tell guys it’s their responsibility to fix them. If a man complains to a woman about a decision he made, she says “why is this my problem?”

This is the sort of observation that gives a lot of insight into female character, yet if you brought it to the attention of women they would claim you are being sexist and/or petty. 90% of women simply don't care what's happening around them if it doesn't affect them directly, while men are constantly shamed into caring about society as a whole in all circumstances. The "slither through the door" move is the worst, by the way. It's essentially a giant FU to the person behind them.

In other news, water is wet. The proper response to a woman’s demand to keep her name (or worse, to give her kids a hyphenated name) is to tell her “you are free to keep your name, you just can’t do it and be married to me.” As Patrice O’Neal used to say, if a man is going to date women, he has to give them options for ways to think.

First, let me say that I’m very sorry to hear about your father’s diagnosis. Regarding the women’s reactions, all I can tell you is that women feel the way they do until they don’t. They don’t look at the past, meaning they don’t credit good deeds or generous behavior that occurred previously. They just think about how they are feeling at present. They are almost the complete opposite of men in that way. It sucks, and it’s one of the roughest aspects of swallowing the red pill.

This is MGTOW, not a subreddit devoted to assuaging feelings, so we should just tell it like it is. The evidence looks bad for Moore. Regardless of what Corfman is into now, her story was corroborated by two childhood friends, one of whom claimed Corfman named Moore as a romantic partner in 1979. Women demand resources; men provide resources. This has been true as long as humans have walked the earth, and no amount of hamstering or feminization of society will ever change that fact. Even alphas provide something to women in the form of tingles. The keys for men are to recognize that they are in fact providing, to demand that they receive something that THEY value in return for those resources, and to realize that women deserve nothing by default (just for existing and being female).

If you really want to understand female nature, memorize the definition for the word duplicity, as well as its synonyms and antonyms. Classic female shaming. People complain a lot about use of the race card, but in truth the gender card gets played far more often (women are 51.3% of the adult US population.) Of course this is annoying for the standard hypocritical reasons: these women probably complain about being objectified, when it suits them. My other thought is that women like this are just so.... corny. They actually think wearing dopey shirts like this is a "badass" thing to do.

This really shouldn't be on a MGTOW thread, as it doesn't involve special treatment of women. Both pilots were removed from the rotation, pending investigation. Having said that, this is an especially egregious mistake for pilots to make. Landing gear should be retracted almost immediately after takeoff. In addition to the fuel loss the plane experienced, the landing gear could have been severely damaged by air drag, depending on the airspeed.

Is this a trick question? Like asking: sure you can devour a steak dinner at a 5 star restaurant, but if you then leave without paying and I pick up the check, who wins? I guess the best answer is the restaurant (girl). You taint your reputation and lose an opportunity to build self worth, while I lose my money and self respect, but the restaurant still gets paid.

Western women achieved equal rights and equal opportunity decades ago. Now feminism is all about getting special treatment through blame and shame.
/r/MGTOW21/07/17 05:17 PM

If a woman cheats on you, just tell her to GTFO in the coldest way possible. It will keep you out of prison, and have the added benefit of having her longing for you after you're out of the picture.
/r/MGTOW20/07/17 10:42 PM
2

I disagree. Modern feminism (which shifted priority from equal rights and opportunity to a quest for special treatment) is simply a different kind of manipulation. In the old days, women demanded things because of traditional gender roles and chivalry. Now they demand things by blaming, shaming, and complaining about the most trivial of issues. They still aren't showing their true manipulative nature.
/r/MGTOW18/07/17 09:56 PM
2

It just shows you that they put almost no thinking into their so called passionate beliefs. The future is female? I challenge any woman to give me a valid reason why that's true.
/r/MGTOW18/07/17 09:49 PM
2

The manipulation continues... The not so subtle message is that men should always be concerned with the issues of women, no matter how trivial.
/r/MGTOW15/07/17 08:55 PM

When describing themselves, men typically list accomplishments and use verbs like earn, build, have, create, etc. Women list things that they want, and almost always use their favorite verb: deserve.
/r/MGTOW14/07/17 02:41 AM

I view this as a stupidity thing, rather than a gay thing. Regardless of how you feel about gay rights, there's no reason to deny the existence of two genders. Your hurt feelings don't get to obscure reality.

I can't tell you how many women spew that sort of garbage. Yes, the guy initiated the date, chose the place, arranged transportation, and paid for everything. So what? The woman took a shower, put on makeup, and got dressed! That's work! Can't you see???
/r/MGTOW12/07/17 05:00 PM

I'm worth more than just a morning beverage! Shaming, delusion, and entitlement all in one sentence. If someone bought me a cup of coffee, I'd just say "thank you." It's shocking how many women live in a world of "I deserve", and can't think about anything but their own desires.
/r/MGTOW12/07/17 04:22 PM

Because blaming the patriarchy for all their problems, seeking attention/validation for everything, and refusing to take responsibility for outcomes, doesn't do shit for their improvement of well-being.

This is because, they claim, society is biased against men Some MGTOW followers believe this, while others simply decide to ignore women solely on the (negative) value proposition of dating and/or marriage. Writers like Hosie never seem to acknowledge that some men feel women just aren't worth it.

You were 100% right to hold your ground. 1) You answered truthfully, and 2) the setup was bullshit. The whole point of the drinking challenge was to load it in a way so you would be manipulated into giving the answer they wanted. Kind of like saying, "anybody who thinks women are inferior has to drink", even though they slickly tried to pretend that modern feminism isn't associated with shaming of men and special treatment of women. We both would have been drinking if I had been there!

It's not the same according to them because: 1) Height discrimination doesn't affect THEM, and 2) they are narcissistic idiots who don't understand how logic works. As the post title suggests, you can study whatever you like in college, but in a capitalist society you shouldn't be complaining about unemployment if you have a degree in something like gender studies or sociology. People with degrees in subjects such as accounting, business, nursing, engineering, computer science, etc are very unlikely to be struggling with homelessness, unless they are addicts or have had medical catastrophes.

The truth is, I am not fat. No one IS fat. It's not something you can BE. This kind of attitude, not misogyny, sexism, or the patriarchy, is why women fail. When you'd rather make up feel-good shit than face facts about the world, or you'd rather make excuses than take responsibility for your part in outcomes, true improvement is impossible.

Women love this type of article, but absolutely lose their minds when an article even slightly criticizes females. You know the "strong and independent" theme is horseshit because 1) strong people can listen to reasonable criticism, while insults just bounce off of them, and 2) independent people don't rely on endless attention/validation to pump them up.

You are indeed correct. Put another way, anger is a clarifying emotion (for a man, anyway.) How many times have you been confused about what's motivating a woman behavior, until she pissed you off and everything became crystal clear? The key isn't avoiding anger, it's making sure the anger doesn't result in foolish/pointless behavior.

Patrice was a genius when it came to male/female interaction, and this philosophy is 100% true. I'll condense what you wrote: you never want to be an orbiter, you want a woman to orbit you. A woman is happiest when she meets a man whose life she admires/envies, and enters his orbit.

I really enjoyed the linked article; thanks for posting it. I would also say that in addition to being motivated to act solely in ways that benefit them, women are strongly motivated to manipulate men to behave in the exact OPPOSITE manner. Hence, the shaming and protesting that you get from women whenever men act in their own interests (e.g. stay single, pursue young & beautiful women, protect their assets, avoid chivalrous and dangerous acts, etc)

You sound like the women you hate. Lazy and ready to blame others. I read the post a few times, and I don't see the OP blaming women for anything. His language is harsh, but he's basically saying that most women are entitled and socially lazy. If he's talking about American women, it's hard to argue with that conclusion. Not everyone will agree with his pump and dump recommendation, but it's certainly true that men need to decide if the juice is worth the squeeze.

This is what women are encouraged to do from childhood. Avoid responsibility, and seek sympathy and validation. Men are encouraged by society to do the exact opposite. Take responsibility and don't make excuses or play the victim.

It doesn't matter if you are liberal, moderate, or conservative as long as you are spitting truth, and when it comes to truth about women, TL is as real as it gets. TRP has a tendency to give out the basic advice of "lift and be alpha" to all kinds of guys but the reality is, this advice only works if you are a white guy or in some cases a black guy. Uh, sorry but this is false. The fact that the Kardashians are the subject of an article in Feminist Current should give you an idea of how frivolous most of the "issues" of modern American feminism really are. The best technique I ever heard for dealing with women came from the late, great Patrice O'Neal. He said, "I don't try to control my girl, I just let her know she can't control me". Deep down, despite their endless drama and shit tests, this is really the attitude women want men to display.

Childish men are to blame for women having kids late in life This headline says all you need to know about women's ability to take responsibility for outcomes. All people respond to incentives. If women want men to get married (and let's face it, this is what the article is about; there are plenty of young single women having kids), they should provide those men incentives to enter marriage. All they and the courts have done in the last 20-30 years is to give men more reasons to stay single.

If it's because society says that's what you should do then screw that, that's an anti-MGTOW mindset. Welcome to the Age of Outrage. A guy asks a challenging question and instead of inviting him to have a discussion/debate, the outraged choose to shame, threaten, and demand appeasement from him. The guy's main mistake was disseminating his opinion via an essay handed to students, but I'm sure the reaction would have been the same if he had just had a discussion about rape culture with his class and dared to disagree with popular opinion.

They mainly use them as a means towards the same goal as all their other tools: manipulation. If you are calling a woman out on her shitty behavior, denying her something, or even just beating her in argument, she won't hesitate to say she feels threatened or intimidated, if you do something as simple as raise your voice slightly. That's because in today's society the mere utterance of those words casts a man as a misogynistic, potentially violent creep. In that scenario, the man's best move is …

The problem isn't a woman's endorsement of the AF/BB strategy (which is all Sandberg's comments amount to), it's the entitlement of her implication that "good guys" should be on board with it. A man who rejects it and says he has no interest in marrying the type of woman who passed him over earlier for bad boy losers, will be publicly shamed: (e.g. where have all the good men gone, men need to grow up and settle down, it's sexist to judge a woman for her poor past decisions, etc)

We aren't in disagreement. I hate when people say things like "it's not her fault, it's her nature" while excusing a woman's crappy behavior. The child/teenager comparison is useful for guys who are perplexed over women's behavior, or for men who believe that they have to fix things because a woman is acting out. You have to hold the line with women, just like you do with children. You don't bargain with them.

This post is pretty accurate. Instead of saying "women are children", a better saying is that "women act like teenagers, and society treats them that way". They are constantly claiming that they are fully capable of doing anything an adult (man) can, but when they get in a jam, they immediately go running for mommy and daddy (the state), and they are never really held responsible for their actions.

The problem with modern feminism isn't that it's politically correct, it's that it's one giant shit test for men. "Man-hating" should be replaced with "Complaining" and the bottom row would be perfect. "Man-hating" isn't generic enough. Coincidentally: complaints, excuses, and lack of interest are the only real barriers between women and STEM careers.

Classic female argument. She makes no attempt to understand the philosophy of a group that doesn't advance her interests. She calls the movement "bizarre", and paints the entire group with the characteristics of its most extreme members. It would be like a man making a video saying all feminist groups are comprised of aggressive and hateful women, who want to exterminate men.

The lesson to be learned here is that women can rationalize ANYTHING. It doesn't matter what assurances or commitments they've made before. That's how a former pop star (who was worth about $200 million going in to the marriage) can pull something like this, and have no trouble sleeping at night. Obviously he shouldn't have married her at all, but if she claimed to need financial security in a LTR, he should have just paid her a million a year.

Having a joint POA and/or co-executors of an estate are terrible ideas. It's usually set up that way to avoid the appearance of favoritism (often between children), but it makes things much more complicated, as it forces two people to agree to get things done. If you live in a state where joint POA forces people to act in agreement, tell your father that this will make things much more complicated. As others have mentioned, if he's worried about protecting assets for his ex-wife's family, he can…

Oral sex is the best ... so long as you're the person receiving it. Women have always been socially lazy, despite the fact that they love talking about how important it is to work on relationships. The moral of the story isn't that Daisy was a poor friend to you, it's that Daisy was never your friend. Be happy that you have become so self aware at such a young age. Your newfound knowledge will serve you well. Next time, ask the woman out as soon as you feel attraction. If she says no and drops the "friend" word, just smile and say, "I have enough friends; I'm a popular guy!". Then indulge in IDGAF behaviors like talking about other women, or openly flirting with other women in front of her. Most importantly: cut off any "nice guy" favors you are tempted to grant. All 90% of women know how to do nowadays is take pictures, post them on social media, and seek attention. I attended an NBA game a month ago, and I was stunned at how many women were there who had no interest in the game whatsoever. They were just strutting around seeking attention, and taking selfies. This is a textbook example of something that women do all the time: they focus on how they WISH guys thought, and then tell men that they SHOULD act the way, based on nothing but that desire. If men did that we would tell women things like, "if you really care about me you should be having sex me regularly regardless of how I feel about commitment".

Well stated. This response really made me smile. For decades, women have benefited from the "suck it up and provide" attitude that they have cultivated in men. Then they got greedy. I love the fact that almost any woman would say that the attacker was within in her rights here. All you would hear is, "that's what he gets for sneaking around". It's quite simple. If a woman makes a pros/cons list for marriage, there are many things in the pro column. For a man there are basically two: 1) Marriage is a plus if you want to raise heirs that carry your name, and 2) it's a plus if you need to assuage guilt (i.e. you are a religious dude who doesn't believe in having sex outside of marriage.) That's it. There are many guys who don't care about either of those things and that's why so many women are in OP's position.

There's an old saying that helps explain why men are generally happier than women: "men fantasize about doing things, women fantasize about having things done to/for them". Candidate for post of the year, and OP's advice is long overdue. Whether you subscribe to TRP or MGTOW, studying/discussing the behavior of women should be about improving your life, not complaining about how terrible they are.

Your way is fine if you are "hardcore" MGTOW, meaning you never associate with women other than on a transactional basis. In any other scenario, women are going to need to be checked, and doing that simply by ignoring them isn't going to work.

Who said anything about getting into an argument? Just ask that question, say nothing else, and let her hamster spin. You'd essentially be holding a mirror up to her, which is what women need.

This was a fairly honest article. I like that the author admitted some of his mistakes, while outlining some of the country's employment issues, instead of just whining. The lesson to take away is that you have to embrace saving and investment when your career is going well. You also have to do the best you can to keep your skills current. Nothing about the future is guaranteed, so make no assumptions.

Women are by far the primary consumers of the Daily Mail. Articles about subjects like Amy Schumer's "knockout body" allow women to feel better about themselves, without putting in actual work for self improvement.

Women want what they want, when they want it, the way they want it. Even though she put the guy in the friend-zone and had no use for him once she got a boyfriend, she expected an immediate response a year later when she was bored. Of course, in her mind she was the victim. He did a great job of dropping her and showing her he wasn't playing her game.

I could never for the life of me, understand a woman's ability (even the smartest, most educated, good drivers, architects) to completely disregard all logic and reason when it comes to men vs women topics That's because it's impossible for your mind to be in a reasoning state and an emotional state at the same time. That's why it's folly to try to reason with a highly emotional woman. Better to walk away (preferably with indifference) and let her calm down. Then her reasoning can kick in.

That was rough reading, but there's an even more important lesson to be learned. When the boys mature, they can either go MGTOW and avoid these women all together, or swallow TRP and tell these delusional yet demanding women straight up that they aren't attracted to them. Women have no problem doing it to short guys, shy guys, clingy guys, or guys with no resources.

A female "friend" of mine was recently railing against Trump, basically calling him a dirtbag for marrying a woman 25 years his junior because of her beauty. When I asked her if Trump's wife was a gold digger for marrying a rich guy 25 years her senior, my "friend" replied "well, I typically take the woman's side". As long as women are that honest about their hypocrisy, I don't have an issue with them, but most aren't.

If you find the long version of this piece, you'll see the worst part is that the authorities only checked out her story closely after one investigator told his colleagues that it didn't feel right. In countries with the presumption of innocence (like ours!) you are supposed to do that BEFORE someone is charged. The guy had been arrested for months before they uncovered her lie, and it was easily unraveled once they started digging.

Bill Clinton was president. So? What's your point? That Bill Clinton was worse? That is a losing political argument. Women simply lack the self-accounting systems that men possess. This is why they can't take accountability for their part in bad outcomes, and explains how easily they can justify claiming credit for things that they haven't earned. Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to women and white knights making demands of the type of crappy behavior men should accept.

So a woman who is a 6, posing for the NY Post (which means she's probably a 4, normally), is demanding a 700+ credit score from any man she dates? That's fine, but how can she be mad when a guy rejects her because he won't date a woman below HB7? Women prioritize resources and men prioritize beauty. Simple as that. She should also know that FICO score is not the best measure of resources.

She doesn't have feminine curves, she's fat. I have a question: if today's women are so independent and strong, why do they resort to using euphemisms like "feminine curves". Tell a fat guy that he's fat, and he'll either laugh and eat another sandwich, or get mad and go to the gym. Tell a fat woman she's fat, and she'll scream that she's "voluptuous" and tell you you're sick for being attracted to slender women.

The "command" method is overrated. Some women like it, but there are many reasonable women who find it off-putting. The key is to give an assertive option without using squishy language. (Location at time?, e.g. Mike's Subs at noon? is perfect.) Women are terrible at making social decisions, so framing it so she can just reply "Yes" is the goal. First of all, great post. I agree with most of it, but I'm not sure overthinking is always due to beta mentality. Three quick points for the OP: 1) Online dating is garbage that only provides benefits to women, 2) Abundance mentality would prevent you from developing oneitis for outrageous chicks like this, and 3) Instead of looking at this as an experience where you messed up, look at it as the time you learned that 90% of women have absolutely no game and are lazy when it comes to dating. A Beta is usually met with animosity for his actions, whereas a land-whaless is almost always validated and backed up by society for everything she does and actually still continues to have people implying to her that the world does owe her. One of the best ways to start down the MGTOW or Red Pill path is to realize that almost all advice or philosophy that women target to men is designed to serve the interests of women. The bottom line is this: women complain about almost everything and seek affirmation/validation, while (non-SJW) men just roll with the punches and then actually do things to effect change. These varying behaviors are encouraged at a fairly early age. As society increasingly attempts to appease women, you'll see more and more of these ridiculous overreactions. Those groups do have a huge number of women shaming men on their behalf, telling guys that they shouldn't care about women's looks or body size and should just love women for who they are inside. When is the last time you heard a group of men telling women they should be attracted to men under 5'4"?

"We see it as lying but many woman ACTUALLY BELIEVE THEIR OWN BULLSHIT." This is essentially the main attribute of hamstering. Rationalization to the point of self delusion, for the goal of avoiding responsibility for poor decision making. Both men and women attempt to have their cake and eat it too. The difference is that men will admit to themselves that they want the best of what comes from both a healthy relationship and some side action. Women, on the other hand, can't admit fault even to t…

Those pictures should be used to educate anyone who actually questions whether handsome guys age better than hot women. Dude STILL looks like a candidate to replace James Bond and she looks like an anorexic mummy. Hot girls have huge advantages in their early to mid twenties, while handsome dudes with resources and game have advantages their whole adult lives. Them's the breaks. Not sure why he reconciled.

It doesn't come across at all like something written by a woman. It's mostly fact-based, relatively short, and completely absent of commentary about the feelings that the incident produced.

No, she would have to GIVE UP half of everything accumulated after the marriage. That's why she's not interested. Her partner actually asked her to get married and she said no (see link above), but she's happy to stay with him in an unmarried arrangement. She would lose leverage by getting married. Smart lady.

Thanks for the link. Any time a woman gets in your face after you tell her you have no interest in getting married, just reply: "People who have a lot to lose are very wary about getting married. Did you know Oprah has no interest in marriage?" Game. Set. Match. All while maintaining frame...

The ironic thing about your comment is that Oprah has publicly stated many times that she has no interest in getting married, and she has received nothing but adulation for her choice. Funny how incentives change one's perspective...

Is it bad that I really enjoyed OP's story and still nearly died laughing at this TL;DR?

I agree with your main point, but your argument went off the rails when you said all women want to be raped by Chad. Many people fantasize about things that they don't want to do in real life. That's one of the powerful things about fantasy. A lot of dudes fantasize about bending their bitchy, but hot, female coworker/boss over a desk and nailing her, but few guys would do it if the opportunity arose (and that fantasy doesn't even involve them being violated). In fantasy, you can strip away all …

I have to say, this comment is somewhat on point. Not because everyone should be in an LTR with a woman 10 years his senior, but because on a prioritized list of errors committed by the subject of the post, that one is about #6. On an rough list, #1 would be: don't get involved with a deadbeat who drains you financially, #2) don't get involved with someone with kids, #3) don't get attached to aforementioned kids, #4) don't live together, and # 5) don't get involved with someone who has a loser e…

Alcohol is a crutch. You can hamster all day to rationalize why you use it, or need it, or want it, but so many RP aspects of your life are hindered by alcohol. I think CR is protesting things like the extremism of this statement. So, if I have a glass of wine with a steak or a beer with a burger, I'm hamstering my alcohol use? The OP should have toned it down and said that heavy use of alcohol is a crutch.

Agreed, about most of the post going overboard. The part about setting a time is such useful advice though, it makes up for the silly parts such as texting a girl that you are "moving on" to give yourself psychological closure. A woman who is a vegetarian would rather have a guy suggest steak for a meal and then reply "Oh, I don't eat meat", than have the guy ask "what do you feel like eating?" and then have to decide.
