I very well may have ADHD as my son has it (moderate-severe), and it seems plausible that my daughter has it too.

I don't believe in "the one" but she was great: beautiful, financially independent, caring, appreciative of what I did for her. I'm the one who fucked everything up.

Well said.

Yes because the rubber of winter tires is softer and gets used up more easily. It's not dangerous - it's just financially inefficient.

That's the funny thing: I am far happier and self-confident when I am alone. It's sad that I am so miserable when I am with someone.

LOL I guess I should get a proper diagnosis done... not sure how that's done exactly.

Haha me neither but I have yet to find an alternative that I don't hate more. "Odds and sods" shivers

It IS a bit bare. I hate clutter but this is extremely sparse. Even just a small table near the door to put your keys and other knicknacks would go a long way.

Yeah that's been a common refrain throughout my life. The funny thing is that I am super non-confrontational generally, and so eager to please that it always causes me a bit of whiplash when it's brought to my attention that I was unintentionally being an asshole.

That's pretty much what my old appartment looked like. One of my ex's employees (she has a small cleaning company) who had seen it asked her if she was sure I wasn't a serial killer given the sparse furniture. Still makes me chuckle to think about that.

Just helping out around the house a bit more. Not spend HOURS on the computer. Being a bit more talkative and open about my feelings. Reasonable expectations.

Funny you should mention aspys... when I broke the news to my mother, she told me that she thinks I may have Aspergers too. Reading the symptoms, it certainly seems plausible: I get super-obsessive about ONE thing at a time and forget literally everything else, I can be inconsiderate of others' feelings even though I don't mean to because I just don't realise what I am doing, I am physically quite clumsy, etc.

Really nothing crazy. She's Filipino, so she is definitely not entitled like most Western women. And yet I still can't keep up with basic shit, because I just don't care.

Yep, that's where I'm at, too. I mean, women can be hard to live with, but I can't fault them for getting pissed when I do shit like not changing the winter tires off the car for a whole summer because I procrastinate too much. That's on me. Thing is, I just don't give a shit, and I'm tired of getting berated for being how I am. So I am just opting out of relationships completely from now on. I don't like getting nagged, and it's not a realistic expectation for a woman not to nag at me for that,…

No, she is (or was) great. No one would put up with my shit. Can't go on a trip. No money + kids to look after.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
