While smirking "As a man of God, I haven't been with any women". That's my go to. Change the subject, don't lose frame. If they keep pressing, especially in a LTR "enough to know what I like". If the question is asked by a girl you haven't slept with it's a shit test. If it's asked by an LTR it's a comfort test. (Assuming you aren't complete trash in bed)

I'm on the same situation as you are. Ltr with a girl for 9 months. She dropped ILY last weekend. I just smiled and kissed her but didn't say it back. I plan to say it at some point but have been wondering the same thing you have. To me TRP got me this girl and the thing that I have taken from it is that anything can be alpha if you maintain frame. For example, I'm a goofy mfker but it works for me because it comes from a place of confidence. Just don't slack and maintain trp principles.

I agree, not all of it is redpill. He did describe hypergamy, he just didn't push the point or call it out by that name. Have you ever been with a virgin? They get super attached especially if you aren't a total beta and can lay down the pipe. But like he said, and you reiterated, if the man that a virgin is with isn't good enough, the woman will search and through the process of searching, i.e. the CC, becomes damaged and hyper sexual.

The funny thing is he is telling them it's from his experience but the women, especially the younger one, won't listen to him. The part where he tells them that men know women better than women know men and we use the knowledge to control them was crazy. Also, he was right. Most of the women that called in agreed with him.

I'll piggyback on this comments and go as far as to suggest you delete your social media. The most happy and successful people I know do not use social media. The most unhappy and empty people are always posting on Instagram and and seem happy but are boring and unhappy in real life. I'm pretty successful by most standards. Late 20s, 80k+ income, house bought, sports luxury car, two vacations a year, cute girlfriend with big tits and I didn't really feel comfortable until I was 24. Enjoy the str…

I didn't say she was a unicorn, just that thus far she is close to one. Being bi is the only red flag I've seen. She was fat (HB7 now) so I think she is probably trying to catch up on some lost time. You're probably right about her kink. It caught me completely off guard since it doesn't fall in her personality. We are traveling to a country where prostitution is legal. I joked about us going to the red light district and she was down. That might be the place to explore and see if she really is …

That guy is not your friend. If it's a girl, you should have known better than to confide in a girl. It's not bad. Don't lose frame when she confronts you. Treat it like a shit test. "You should be vetting me too, I'm a terrible person you know smirk."

I would lift first then. Give it 6 months of consistent lifting. Look up 5x5 stronglifts and follow that program for 6 months. If you are coming off the couch you will gain alot of strength and some size while also leaning up if you watch your diet (read: no sugar/bread). After that you will have a solid base for martial arts. I recommend Muay Thai or BJJ. Muay Thai is easily the most useful skill set out there if you only stick to one martial art.

MMA is better for real life situations. It gives you confidence that can be backed up everytime you spar at the gym. It's a social activity so you can make friends. However, your appearance will not change if you only do MMA (Assuming you aren't fat and coming straight off the couch). Lifting will improve your posture. You'll get bigger. You'll look better. You'll feel better. It's a solo activity that will give you discipline and it is an hour or two a day (or however often) when you can focus …

Dude she wanted to hang out but couldn't because she had other seemingly legitimate plans. She gave you an option that day to hang out and you couldn't do it. Try again in a week or two a couple of days in advance of when you want to hang out. If she can't, next.

I've recently met a girl that apparently was in the same major as me during the same time I went to college. We are both mid twenties. 8 body, 6 face due to bad gentics (abs but has a droopy face and hooked nose). She is a quality woman by all accounts; solid family ties, doesn't drink, stem major thefore good money maker and has mostly female friends. I thought about pursuing and she has shown IOIs but (aside from facial looks) I just couldn't bring myself to do it. She was in the group I hung …

I agree 100%. However, this post is about the least common denominator for improvement which is lifting. A cheap gym membership is 10 bucks max and while they probably don't have a squat rack, going from not lifting to any gym at all will be a hell of an improvement.

Your reaction is normal especially if you are new to martial arts. I think Joe Rogan mentioned it on his podcast that what he enjoys the most about jiu jitsu is that when he loses, he knows that a couple thousand years ago it meant death but now it means you can improve. So there is a primal reaction to losing in any form of fighting. Learn from it. Get better. There were days when I first started Muay Thai were I would feel like crying after practice. Then one day my coach (4-0 in our state mma…
/r/askTRP13/03/18 10:48 PM

I would advice you not to do it especially if you aren't even out of college. I'm 3 years out and the perspective you get is night and day in those 3 years. If you really are going to do it though why not live it up before you go. Go to Thailand or Costa Rica and bang hookers and do cocaine. You're going to kill yourself anyway. Fuck it.

Make sure you're not the one that is causing this reaction. If it is EVERY group, maybe take a look at yourself. It could be your body language or your facial expressions. Check your posture. If it's not you, you've just been unfortunate by running into a bunch of dicks. You say it doesn't bother you yet you took the time to write about it. There was a recent thread on the main sub about how learning a martial art is one of the best things you can do. I'll second that opinion. If you know that y…

This is very similar to muay thai. My Kru's style is more defensive than most. His motto is if you can keep you opponent at a distance, you can lead the pace of the fight. When you do get hit, you should always hit back because if your opponent got close enough to strike, he has an opening.

I have this problem. I wouldn't consider myself good looking but I would say my looks have improved drastically. Enough to be called cute and to be hit on by women randomly sometimes. Its better to err on the side of emotionless than too much emotion. Its like women like you better when they have to imagine what you are rather than you showing them who you are. It's a catch 22. Its probably the biggest beta tendency I have. I'm physically imposing but kinda of a goofball. That seems to not corre…

This is the only answer. When I say I'm an engineer, women have never told me that I look like one. The only time I ever got shit was from my buddies' new GF. Her cousin was an engineer and she teased him by calling him an enginerd. Naturally she responded to me with "Oh, an enginerd." I responded by raising my bicep, flexed and said "The biggest nerd" with a smirk. She laughed and that was that.

Accidentally deleted my comment but I disagree. It's biological that the biggest, tallest guy draws the most attention. Whether they can keep the attention is up to their game. This guy is described "Tallish and generically handsome" but wtf is tallish? He has average aesthetic features and isn't fat but doesn't even have a hint of muscle. Just reinforces that looks are important, but not everything.

He was on Marc Marons WTF podcast 2 weeks ago promoting his new book. Listening to the guy speak is made me cringe. I really cant picture him as style. He had no opinions of his own. Marc kept asking him his opinion on different things and he would ask Marc what he thought about it without answering then agree. I'll definitely try out re-con. I train Muay Thai 5 times a week plus lift 3x a week and I wake up feeling like a train wreck. Part of it is the calorie deficit I'm in but some extra help for soreness wouldn't hurt.

To the ones that need to cut first due to being fat, may I recommend Keto or a close to keto diet. However, because you are lifting unlike most people in the keto sub, do a 65/30/5 of protein/fat/carbs. You will feel like shit for the first week but afterwards you will feel great. Do 5x5 especially if you are a beginner but as OP mentioned, it can still be used by intermediates. If you really are considering suicide, I challenge you to take a trip to a 3rd world country. Those people really have it tough. What most people lack is perspective. I'm not trying to downplay any emotional angst you might have but let yourself see true hardship. Shit, worst case scenario you live it up for a couple of weeks on cocaine and hookers. 405 lbs. I think it's a mental thing honestly. I've never done one in my life. I didn''t start seriously lifting until i discovered trp and have been fat all my life. My upper body is alot weaker when compared to my lower body. (405 squat and deadlift) I'm 241 lbs but don't look like it according to everybody. At 200lbs I should be at around 18% bodyfat if my estimates are correct. I'm very broad and 5' 11".

I plan to do 6 months of monk mode. My day begins at 6 AM when I wake up from work and ends at 8PM when I get home from Muay Thai and Jijitsu. I want to accomplish the following things. Lose 40 lbs Get to a point in Muay Thai where I can start thinking about competing. Get to 1200 club (bench+squat+deadlift; at 1070 already) Pick up my guitar again and learn to play a whole song. I would like to expand this concept to betas. A part of my life that has really changed thanks to TRP is that I make my "dreams" come true. When I was debating on getting a sports bike, all the women in my life told me it was a bad idea. "It is too dangerous", "It is too expensive to maintain". What I noticed was that all my beta friends would also bring up those arguments. The only people who told me to do it were my alpha friends. The same women that told me not to, now tell me how cool it is.

You description of him paints a picture of insecurity on his part. He keeps trying to prove himself. He's not really your friend. If you can avoid him do so, if you can't treat him like you would any random interrupting a conversation between you and a girl in a bar. Call him out on it. I doubt he will continue after that.

Yea 5x5 SL is a beginners program. Just make sure you don't start too heavy. First 2 weeks you will be constantly sore. (DOMS) then after that you won't be sore until you start hitting body weight on squats. Also, first month or so the whole workout takes like 30 mins. It gets longer as you have to rest longer in between sets with heavier weight. If you have any questions just let me know.

I didn't mention Whey because I don't consider it a supplement but yes it is a must. Any brand will do. The most important thing is the protein and calorie ratio. You want the most grams of protein with the least amount of cals. (if you have to gain weight rather than lose weight, this isn't as important.) Gold Standard is a good brand. You can buy a 5lb container for $55 on amazon. Since you are just starting, focus on compound exercises. You might get some people saying that you must isolate e…

What really worked for me was the stronglifts 5x5 routine. That incorporates compund exercises that really builds strength and size. I would recommend creatine and caffeine as the must have supplements to maximize gains. The beginner gains, as another user explained, is the muscle mass and strength you gain simply by working out and being new. In this period, you will linearly increase your lifts. The strength increase during this phase is different for everybody and can vary greatly. The mass i…

Exactly it takes 6 months for a huge spike in SMV. If you really work hard in the gym and eat right (deficit or surplus depending on your weight goals) in 6 months you will max out your beginner gains which are more than most men have. You can also lose 50 lbs which unless you are super obese, makes a hell of a difference. This doesn't even scratch the surface on the confidence, mental toughness, and introspection you will build along the way.

You have no idea how much your comment has helped me right now. Even though I have come a long way, my abundance mentality needs some work. I have to lose some weight but every once in a while my new confidence and lifting attracts a girl. I'm not afraid to get rejected but when I do, I'm left feeling empty and lonely. I'm perfectly fine when I have no leads and focus on improving. Your comment slapped me awake. Thanks bro.

Continue building strength and size. 12% body fat at 200lbs looks way different than 12% body fat at 130. You will have to find an estimate of your daily calorie expenditure and then add like 10% on top of that to build size. Don't over do it or you might end up gaining more fat than muscle. If done correctly you won't have to cut at the end. However, it is way easier to just eat and then cut. Really up to you.

My stats : 405 squat, 405 deadlift and 250 bench. I'll piggy back on what this guy said. Do SL until you stall in all the lifts. That should take you 3-4 months. At that point you will be alot bigger and start cutting. Looking good is like 90% about body fat percentage. Get as big as you can, then cut. Eat properly though, don't dirty bulk.

I plan to have kids someday but marriage is a 80% chance of not happening. The woman will have to be near a unicorn and a prenup will have to be signed. Besides, from what the older guys here keep saying, single fathers get tons of action.

Lift if you haven't started yet. Give you confidence and posture. What really helped me is to actively slow down the speed of which I talk. That lowers your voice by a couple pitches. Don't do it too much though. It has to be natural. If you are blurting out 'sorry' or other words you don't want to be saying, you are speaking too fast.

I learned this the hard way. Sure, it's easy to 'hold frame' behind your computer screen, but in the moment it's easy to forget that frame even exists for beginners like myself. I got a number by appearing alpha. Now I am quite charming, funny and easy to like by a group so that helped. I just didn't give a fuck about this girl. You shouldn't need a spotter on any of the workout besides bench. If you have absolutely no experience weightlifting, i believe it is recommended to start super low. If you do have some experience, start at 65% of your max on that lift. The official 5x5 website tells you how low but i believe its the bar by itself for some of the exercises. You'll know when you need a spotter when you barely got the set before before it. Just ask a bro (somebody who clearly lifts and might be doing the same thin…

For sure. My squats, deadlift and rows are PRs every week. (excluding the 1 rpm) I started to slow down on bench and my overhead press is at a stall right now. Considering that my calories are at a substantial deficit and I'm on following keto, I think my numbers are decent. I believe 5x5 is meant to be a 3 month program but a lot of people double up and at that point they move on to more advanced programs.

A plate spinner probably isn't looking to marry anyway. However, a woman is free to marry whoever they want. Should a woman marry a plate spinner? Only if she wants to. Should a man marry a slut? Only if he wants to. I wouldn't but I'm not every man. Another thing to keep in mind is how men and women view partner counts. Let's also not forget that rape was probably common place. I would imagine physical strength had more power then as well. Also, women were considered property back then. The simplest way I can put this is to follow biology. Men and women and not equal due to the fact that we were made to fulfill very different roles. Men are the providers, the leaders and the protectors. Women are the mothers and caretakers. It is rare that a woman can be a leader because their emotions are at the forefront of their personality. You may say this is sexist and misogynist but it's not. Men go through a phase where our emotions completely control us and that phase is at the beginni…

Not more dangerous than say driving, or swimming or say walking in an urban area. Everything has some risks associated with it. Personally I like competing with my body and telling it to stfu.

About a month ago I went Ice skating with a group split 50/50 in genders. About 30 minutes in, a 16 or so year old girl dressed up as a figure skater (I.e. onesie and tights came in). Now this was in downtown and our in the open. All the girls (23-24 yo) I was with kept criticizing this girl. Comment were "Who would come dressed like that", "Why is she taking pictures here?", "She is still taking pictures?" among others. Now this girl had an athletic shape, could be considered cute but I'm not t…

Yea I know. I have a little more than Jim. And no other hair loss on my head. But to me that is balding none the less. I have a couple more years I think until there is no other alternative. But shaving it reminds me to not give a fuck and it keeps me sharp on the improving front.

She is cheating on some guy with you. I personally don't have any qualms about this because that guy isn't one of your buddies. However, the fact is that if you smash, she will be cheating and therefore that is a huge red flag against you LTRing this chick. Your choices are to bang and be strict about not falling deeper into oneitis, use her to meet her friends for potential hook ups and (possibly the safest/best choice) move on.

Dame here man. I started at age 17 and it became impossible to hide at 22. For me it is a receding hairline So I would grow it long and hit it that way. One day I just said fuck it, I'll Buzz it down. I got so many compliment a how I looked better that way. It seems the only person that thought I hiding my hairline was me. However, I did become the but of joke around my buddies. Nothing bad but they were shit testing me. At the time I was co-oping and some of the younger guys at the company (sub…

This is something that redpill has made me more keen to do. Like you mentioned, women avoid answers all the time on the most tribal things. It is annoying and frustrating. Before TRP I would lead the conversation elsewhere because in my mind I didn't want to cause a confrontation since she didn't want to answer the question. Now, if they deflect an answer, I repeat the question and it hasn't failed to elicit a direct response. You can see the singles right away.

You gotta think that if it doesn't matter you might as well have fun. Fuck that person that gives you shit. Fuck that hot chick you've been wanting to ask out but have been to scared to do so. I'm only 24 and I already have regrets about some of my past. To me life has changed from getting girls (still good to do though), trying to make as much money as possible (luckily I have a good job) and owning the most I can to having experiences. If you are young go take that trip to w/e man. Seek experi…

Go no contact. She has been using you for validation. If she is interested in you even a little, doubtful, she will message you. At this point ignore for a week or two then reinitiate contact and invite her over, escalate and go for the close. If you fail to close, hard next and make sure not to fall into her orbit again.

If I am ever in a situation where my LTR responds to my request for a Pre-nup in this way, I would answer with "Since both of us plan on being married forever, this should never come into effect. However, this is something I want to do." I don't understand how you are asking for a divorce if at the same time you ask for a prenup you are considering marrying the woman. It is all on how you phrase it. Like it has been mentioned in the thread, it really is a red flag if LTR won't sign one. Since it…

Yea that was pretty much all I said about the subject. I'll heed the advice though. Think RP, just don't talk about.

I didn't pursue this conversations. As stated she said "House, dog, wife" in a joking tone with a smile. I was being funny and said to put pre-nup between dog and wife in the same joking tone. Got some laughs from the rest of the table. She did t think it was funny though and thus resulted in the rest of the conversation. I didn't antagonize since I know enough not to argue with women because there is no point in doing so.

I have the same thing happen to me. The same people that pester you to get married are the one that complain they didn't get enough sleep due to a newborn or after they ask you and you tell them that your plans for the holiday break includes a party, they look at you with longing eyes. Sometimes it seems that they Just want you to be as miserable as they are. He'll I make good money but I know other senior employees make twice what I do or even push 3x and, like you mentioned, they are always co…

I mentioned that in the conversation. Got no response lol. I agree though. Since marriage is a goal of mine, if a woman refuses then it's not happening with her.

You have some interesting points that I'll probably implement mostly for tinder etc. Some of these are too much though. Going through trash for example is just desperate.

From your responses to the other comments you clearly don't like the answer to your question. You admit you have scarcity mentality/oneitis and even though you self diagnosed, you refuse to accept the appropriate course of action which is to go no contact and soft next. If you want to hear that if you "you should talk to her about your feelings" she will come back to you, you are in the wrong sub. Go yo r/relationships and get your beta answers. Either way your are probably fucked as far as this…

Exactly man. People stopped trying to keep me down when my progress was undeniable. In fact, now they are encouraging me to keep going. Funny thing is that when I see people again after a couple of weeks they say "Still looking good man", it's a compliment but the way they say it is as if they expected me to regress to my old self. Just got to keep passing those shit tests. As a side note, while Nofap is beneficial, it seems that a lot of people in TRP think that the no porn is the beneficial pa…

I went through the same thing. I have been overweight my whole life but then on the day of my college graduation I snapped and decided to change my life. I had everything anybody could wish for (friends, a job as a fresh grad making 60k+, a loving family, no debt, and a fair amount of savings to start my new life) except for a fulfilled sex life. I was never unpopular because I am funny and am fairly sociable when I want to be but, I was beta. About two months in, of unknowingly going into monk …

Yea I meant as of right now she is a "unicorn". She will be going to college in a year so I wanted opinions on whether I should introduce her to TRP or just not interfere. She has support from my brother, my parents and I but I'm sure girls that share a similar background also ride the CC. Thanks for the input man. I'll def introduce her slowly to the concept.

Invite here over and escalate. If she declines then she just wants a chat buddy for validation. The key here is for you to realize that no matter what happens the most she can be is a plate. She is not LTR material.

Yes I can see the shirt color being gay but I wear them because I like the colors and not because I want to draw attention to myself. Actually in retrospect the title to this post is not a very good one but oh well. Those two shirts are the only bright colors I wear. The others are navy, red, black, green with stripes, white with stripes, sky blue, burgundy. In fact how I dress isn't the main focus of my character, rather I made it a focus for this post because that was the reason I girl provide…

Women don't love assholes. They love men that are self confident, that do what they want, realize their true worth and are always improving themselves. They want a man that they can show off. This man, if a true alpha, knows he has more options that her but she might be his unicorn so he might give her an ltr. To betas, an alpha appears to be an asshole because he doesn't conform to today's feminist society and doesn't put the pussy on a pedestal. Furthermore, physically abusing a woman is not a…

Well I acknowledge that I'm not a full alpha yet so I use this sub to gain experience from the people who have more experience. Damn that is some crazy experience. This girl in particular is cute but kinda one of this petite girls. Not really my type plus she tends to talk to much and is rather loud so I don't want to imagine what would happen if I got into that and shit didn't work out.

I'm far from a feminine figure. Think linebacker that is 5 11 and that let go over the summer lol. I'm built with broad shoulders but a softer than I would like mid section. I'm far from a finished product thus being in monk mode. I've definitely seen that not reacting to a girls attractiveness gets you their attention. In my complete beta days I wouldn't shy away from 9-10s be cause I thought they were way out my league. This caused them to seek my validation but being a beta, I didn't nut up. …

In that moment I didn't think about the almighty hamster. I had to let them know that I heard them without coming off as butt hurt. I went up to her a bit later and said "So I hear you want to join tinder with me". She blushed and responded with "You could hear us talking" in a omg high pitched voice. I co iTunes to carry a conversation with an amused smirk on my face with her clearly embarrassed. Thanks for the response brother.

Not really. No verbal flirting but she broke the touch barrier so I've escalated as much as you can in an office environment. She asked me out to lunch one but I couldn't due to a meeting and then she asked me to a state fair but I couldn't cause my uni had an away game so I went there with buds. I think she would be DTF but I prefer my job to some rando vag.
/r/askTRP24/11/14 10:29 PM

Maybe you are right. That's the reason I went after this girl. However, by real target i meant that I wouldn't mind LTRing the girl in my friend group. The reason I haven't made moves on that girl is that she is really good friends with one of my male friends. I met her through him. I have to make sure he is cool with it. She might be his oneitis because he is a beta. I haven't had the opportunity to bring up the subject tactfully to him. She has shown a ton of IOIs and I haven't made contact ou…

Even if she belongs to a social group that you often hangout with?
/r/askTRP

I take it as a compliment but it is still condescending. None of the guys I know compliment like that, nor do I. A genuine compliment would be a simple "You're looking great." Delivery is also important of course. I took it as a shit test due to the way she said it.
/r/askTRP

I hate it when girls do this. They can't give a genuine compliment without making it about themselves. I got this one recently after losing weight: "Wow your progress has really made me wonder how I can change my workout. I've been slacking." Bitch automatically made any interaction I was going to have with her be about her. Super condescending.
/r/askTRP

Make the approach the victory. With this mentality, if you approach you have already won. Whatever happens is extra. You get rejected? W/e, you made the approach which was the goal and got some xp. You get the number? Fuck yeah, on to the next one.
/r/askTRP

That is my main concern. I feel like if I wear cologne I'm seeking attention. I've also seen where a girl complements a guy for the scent he is wearing. Hard to know which happened first, her liking the scent of her liking him.
