One thing I never see here is the discussion of shamelessness. It's counter intuitive but the "confidence" people talk about is just shamelessness. You have nothing to hide. If you can say what you want to say with the absence of fear you will do better with women point blank. Self awareness is part of that confidence too. Smaller venue, it's not about numbers, it's about having a good time. If you aren't there specifically to hit on someone you will have more fun. I'm pretty normal looking and just before the holidays took home a gorgeous blonde Australian girl. I sat with two dudes and we were having fun so a group of girls that were there decided to join us! After that it was easy.

I go out alone all the time. Try to make some new guys friends. Hop in to a table and just ask if you can chill with them. Set the pace, introduce yourself and remember their names. If you can start a game or a funny conversation then you're in.
