What an ignorant comment, a societal issue isn’t “caused” by a single gender, most of the time it’s societal because both genders are upholding it. Just because ancient men created a system doesn’t mean that women do not uphold and defend it. Millions of women have raised their sons to “man up” and become the providers, and millions of women have chosen to continue to defend and uphold this tradition because frankly it’s easier for them. There are millions of women who won’t do these physical jo…

Men aren’t gonna “go nazi” on women any time soon. Far more men are on women’s side than the other way around, far more men are living in self hatred and are enthralled in the propaganda. I once used to be like that myself, and the amount of us that are under the women are wonderful effect is astronomical and far more mainstream than you would think.

The trick is actually to scroll away as fast as possible. Once they see any type of engagement they jump on it, they don’t care if it makes you feel negatively or positively, in fact, it might be better for them if it makes you feel negative, cause that’s a stronger emotion to hold on to, so they’ll keep pushing it.

This is an interesting thing to learn about, especially this quote from the page “This research found that while both women and men have more favorable views of women, women's in-group biases were 4.5 times stronger than those of men. Furthermore, only women (not men) showed cognitive balance among in-group bias, identity, and self-esteem, revealing that men lack a mechanism that bolsters automatic preference for their own gender.” Meaning that not only women favour women automatically, men also…

I’m especially sick of the lone wolf card, such a disrespectful thing to victims of the abusers, in my life personally, I can name of the top of my head, about 19 women who abused me as a child and growing up. I believe the number is high the initial abuse was when I was very young, so it made me more susceptible to more abuse and mistreatment and made it very hard for me to recognize it, but now that I do, It’s awful, and it’s awful when people try to defend that with the lone wolf bs.

I thought my experiences were unique. As someone who has also been through this, the psychological pain is indescribable, it takes years to figure out that you’re not the problem, and even longer to figure out what to do about it. I’m so sorry you had to go through that

When I was younger I was in a toxic and controlling relationship, however I was also desperate and alone, due to moving to a new country and having zero community besides her, as well as my own issue with loneliness. So I made a post explaining my situation on a relationship subreddit, and I was met with the same shaming and harshness you are describing. To be fair I didn’t mention much of her toxic traits, partly because I wanted to take responsibility of my own life, I simply explained how unf…

This is genius, and spot on for the celebrity thing. My biggest mistake was trying to form relationships with people I knew liked celebrities that are openly hateful. “They probably just only like them for their music” my brain would say. Boy was I so wrong.

Has someone who has been a perpetual victim of multiple women growing up, and have never had any type of support or care or even respect to be taken a little bit seriously or being believed. Thank you for this. I really appreciate it.

It is exactly as you described. We are Canadians, and you are right that I need to practice more patience. I guess just because I see the hypocrisy doesn’t mean he would see it as clearly as well.

Hey man, I’m sorry you’re going through this and as someone in the same boat as you a few months ago I gotta say, what really helped me is understanding that there is nothing wrong with me (despite societal pressures shaming, and maltreatment) and truly believing it. Also knowing that there are a lot of women that do not think like this, I happen to have a couple of female friends and colleagues who are actually pretty chill and treat me equal and well, and also understanding that a lot of the w…
