Loneliness looks different to everyone. Some people are lonely because they lack friendships, some are lonely because they lack romantic relationships. We humans require human interaction from all forms to feel content and satisfied in life.

I'm sure they can find a man willing to take them seriously, but It would be like looking for a needle in a haystack.

I agree. However, I think men should just be more upfront about why they prefer "virgins.“ If he wants a virgin, yet he himself is not a virgin, then he is either a hypocrite or he holds a woman's virginity differently to a man's, which then tips towards misogyny, and I think women are entitled to know which of the two he is before making the decision to be with him or not. Just be upfront about it. Or as you put it "informed consent.“

From someone who's in an age gap relationship, I agree. I love my husband but seeing him slow down has been very difficult for me. We are in different stages of our life and navigating that has been really hard for both of us. He feels like he's holding me back from living my life and I feel like i'm holding HIM back. But we both love each other so much and we're too selfish to let one another go.

But don’t you see how both men and women contribute to the decline in dating? You say women are toxic beyond repair and only bring misery for themselves, while men are just “idiots who need to get a life.” Do you realize that you’re placing the blame on women?

I think its a bunch of edited videos of women talking about the same dating struggles men talk about online. The only difference is, women are sharing their stories openly with their faces, while men usually hide behind fake accounts. I think it's porn to men in the comments.

Our algorithms must be different. I haven’t gotten a single TikTok of women pouting about their dating struggles, lol. And if your last statement is true, then I’m happy! Maybe then men will sympathize with women and realize that just because the dating pool is big doesn’t mean it’s clean!

You’re mistaking effort with discipline. Just because something takes effort doesn’t mean it is disciplined. A man can work hard to become desirable, sure but if he immediately uses that to sleep around, that’s indulging a desire, not restraining it. Discipline is about choosing when not to indulge, even when you can. Also, your framing assumes every man’s goal is to sleep with as many women as possible. That’s not being self-centered that’s validation-seeking. And yes, I do value men who aren’t…

I am married but If i woke up single tomorrow id rather stay single than lower my standards. My standards are simple. Respect me, respect the people I love. The second you're begging someone for respect is the second you lose it for yourself.

I completely agreeee. It's normal for us women to get turned on by other men as well. Especially during ovulation. It's literally normal.

Honestly, this whole argument is sounding like you’re upset that a woman values something you don’t. I’m allowed to value discipline in sex, just like others value ambition, height, or religion. You’re not going to logic me out of my own standards. Sleeping with 20 women doesn’t prove discipline. It proves drive, maybe charisma, maybe opportunity. I don’t want a man who’s woman-centered. Who does everything in his life to get women to sleep with him (gym, work, etc) Most women don’t even ask how…

Ah, there it is the unmasked bitterness. You say men did the right thing “at no benefit to themselves,” yet you’re here seething that women weren’t grateful enough for it. And calling women “spiteful and petty” while complaining they don’t care about your problems is rich. You can’t have it both ways dehumanize women, then whine that they’re not emotionally invested in your struggles. You say men had to write and vote on the 19th Amendment. yes, obviously. That’s how a system designed by and for…

Right, because nothing says “gracious” like hoarding rights for centuries and then acting like granting basic equality was some kind of noble favor. You don’t get to oppress people and then demand gratitude when you finally loosen the leash. The 19th Amendment wasn’t a gift lol how ignorant are you? it was the result of relentless protesting by women. Did white men also "graciously" pass the 16th Amendment? You want to call that “overcoming nothing”? Tell that to the women who were arrested, bea…

Typical man. Confusing and mansplaing his opinions with facts and thinking a hyperlink makes him a scholar. Do you believe everything you read as long as it has link? My so-called “bigotry” is rooted in history. Men have consistently tried to subjugate women, legally, socially, economically. You're just mad woman have overcome that.

The laws about women’s rights to open bank accounts and hold jobs weren’t some new-age declarations suddenly granting permission to do something people were already doing freely. They were removing explicit legal barriers that DID exist. So yes, before those laws, women literally couldn’t do those things legally, unlike your hypothetical trash-eating law, which makes no sense lol. The ignorant one here is you. You don’t have to be a history buff to know women were discriminated against. They had…

Right… because your link is more credible than an actual law. The Equal Credit Opportunity Act isn’t just an opinion it’s the law. Classic case of men mistaking their feelings for facts.

The issue isn’t that you’re noticing patterns. It's how you’re framing them. You say you’re just observing preferences, but when you make claims like “physical attraction is the most important thing for women,” it stops sounding like an observation and starts sounding like a complaint. It’s not entitlement because you expect someone to change their preference. It’s entitlement when your frustration with not getting chosen starts turning into narratives about what women really want, as if their c…

Oh, so historical fact is now "propaganda“? Women in the U.S. literally couldn’t open bank accounts without a husband’s permission until the 1970s. Look up the Equal Credit Opportunity Act of 1974. That’s not feminist propaganda. Thats DOCUMENTED law. If you’re allergic to facts just say that. But you can't rewrite history buddy.

No one said it was a privilege. It’s just ironic that men call themselves natural leaders while proudly pointing to centuries of being used as expendable labor. And instead of questioning that, you romanticize it and call it leadership. If anything, it’s sad.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 01:41 PM
1

Since you asked. History led me to that conclusion. Women have spent centuries surviving systems rigged against them and still came out more adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and capable of holding families and entire communities together. They weren’t even allowed to open bank accounts or hold jobs for most of modern history, and yet in the short time they’ve had access to those rights, they’ve made massive strides all while being told they’re the weaker sex. So no, it’s not just feelings.

There’s a difference between disappointment and entitlement. It’s valid for anyone (man or woman) to feel frustrated about dating. What crosses the line is when that frustration turns into bitterness, blame, or resentment toward the other gender. If a guy says, “I’m struggling to connect with people and it’s making me feel really down,” that’s okay. If he says, “Women only want guys with money,” or “Nice guys finish last,” or starts ranting about how women owe him attention THATS the tantrum. Yo…

It’s not a gotcha. Men HAVE historically been conditioned to obey, follow orders, and die for causes that rarely benefit them. if pointing out reality makes it a “woman moment,” thanks! I’ll take it.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 01:22 PM

Woman rejected being property. Men, on the other hand, seem weirdly proud of being disposable. Men called it honor. You don’t see women romanticizing dying for their country.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/07/25 11:01 AM
1

No, you’re the one insisting men should lead. I couldn’t care less what men do or don’t do. I just know they’re not natural leaders. They’re submissive by nature. You want someone to submit to. That’s why men make such good soldiers: you’re wired to follow orders, not give them.

I never said feminism is some gift to men. I said it’s still done more for men than men have done for themselves. And honestly, it’s pathetic that a movement created for women even has to consider men. If you care so much, start your fucking movement instead of trying to hijack ours. Also, although I don’t consider myself a feminist. I still fully recognize that generations of feminist work gave me the freedom to exist as a modern misandrist.

Authority isn't a reward for working hard or bringing home a paycheck loll. And men should shoulder all the responsibility lol. Yall want to lead don't y'all? So lead. Maybe then we'll start respecting y'all. Bringing home a paycheck isn't leading. Its 2025 woman also bring home a paycheck.

You’re doing your own set of mental gymnastics to pretend that “working a job” is the highest or only meaningful way to contribute to society. If that were true, stay-at-home parents, teachers, caretakers, and community organizers wouldn’t matter. Which is obviously nonsense. Contribution isn’t just about being overworked. it’s about sustaining, and nurturing a functioning society. Something women, (especially mothers) have always done without recognition. Also “men have responsibility but no au…

You’re masking a lot of personal resentment as “biology.” Claiming that male disposability is just instinct is a lazy way to avoid acknowledging how society chooses to treat men. If we just followed “instinct,” we'd still be living in caves. You say feminism isn’t about freeing men. But it’s literally the only movement that has ever seriously questioned why boys are told not to cry, why men are expected to die in war, or why fatherhood isn’t valued equally in parenting. Also, why should feminism…

Working long hours doesn’t automatically mean you're contributing meaningfully to society lmfaooo. It just means you’re useful to an economy that runs on burnout and overwork. Congrats, you're being exploited lol. And your opinion on single mothers is unoriginal and completely untrue. Misandry isn't systemic just because you're uncomfortable with terms like "toxic masculinity." That phrase doesn't mean all masculinity is toxic, just that certain norms (like repressing emotion, or using violence to solve problems) are harmful to men and women. Calling that misandry is like saying calling out racism is anti-white. As for your take on sexual violence and wage gaps. you’re just parroting talking points that have been debunked. Sure, single men might work long hours and use fewer state resources, but that doesn't mean they're contributing to society. You can be productive and still be disposable. And single mothers are raising the next generation. They are literally doing the hardest, most thankless job while often being underpaid, unsupported, and still taxed. Society only notices them when it wants to blame them for something. Meanwhile, a lot of single men do just work... eat, sleep. That’s not a personal attack. Si…

You're acting like I made the rules. I didn’t invent the draft, I just acknowledged how it's historically worked and why. Young men have always been the first sent to die in wars, not because I personally ranked their worth, but because that’s how systems of power have functioned. You can be mad at me, or you can be mad at centuries of precedent. As for your “incubator” comment. Yeah, actually, society does already do that lol. Have you been living under a rock? And while I agree old men startin…

In this context, I was specifically talking about war or life-or-death situations. Of course, the goal should be to preserve as much human life as possible, but if people have to die, I believe it should be men. Historically, it’s mostly young, single men who get drafted anyway, which makes sense, they’re less likely to leave behind a wife or children. To be honest, I don’t think much about single, childless men. They don’t contribute significantly to society until there’s a war.

I never said I believed men deserve life. I said I recognize that they do. Some of them are dads, brothers, husbands. I also don't "believe" men are disposable. Men ARE disposable. History has made that pretty clear.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 09:36 PM

I tend to be emotionally detached, so I often feel uncomfortable when men openly cry or express emotions. (Anger included, since many don’t even consider that an emotion.) I also believe that men should be the ones to protect the vulnerable (like the elderly, children, and women.) While I recognize that men are equally deserving of life, in life-or-death situations such as wars, I think men should step up because they are more disposable.

Oh no, how shocking women pushing back against being pigeonholed into unpaid therapist and mom roles for grown men. Women don't get upset about having to be nurturing. We just don't want to be forced to be nurturing to grown ass men.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 03:23 PM

No, I’m not justifying misandry. I’m explaining where it comes from, not excusing it. Misandry often grows out of frustration with systemic misogyny, much like some men develop resentment toward women after personal or societal rejection.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 11:20 AM

Just because something feels normal doesn’t mean it’s natural. it might just be what boys were taught from a young age: "man up," "don't cry," "be strong." That’s patriarchy. Also, if you think it's normal for men to not talk about their problems then can you guys please shut up about men's mental health??? Since you shut down our attempts to help y'all. As for feminists having a "toxic relationship with femininity" you'll need to explain that. Feminism, at its core, challenges the devaluation o…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 02:04 AM

Dude, you're shifting the argument now. First, you said misandrists "maintain power by playing the victim," but now you're talking about individual well-being metrics among average men and women. Those are different conversations. If you're saying most men are worse off materially or emotionally, I agree there's an important conversation to have about how men are struggling. But that doesn't prove that women (or misandrists, whatever that term means in your argument) hold institutional or system…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 01:39 AM

Male disposability, the empathy gap, emotional repression, pressure to be providers, these aren’t the results of feminism. They’re exactly what patriarchy looks like. A system that values men primarily for what they can produce, or endure. Not who they are. Feminists have been calling this out for decades. You say, “no one gives a fuck about men.” That’s a serious problem. So why attack the one movement that actually critiques the societal structures that devalue everyone who doesn’t conform to …
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 01:32 AM

Vague claims about "misandrists" holding power or "society siding with women" don’t hold up without examples or evidence. If men truly lacked power, they wouldn’t still dominate politics, businesses, tech, finance, media ownership, and military influence. And when a man and woman have a disagreement (especially in legal contexts like custody battles or workplace disputes) the outcomes are far more nuanced than “society sides with women.” And who defines what's socially acceptable? That’s influen…
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/25 01:26 AM

Misogyny isn’t something feminists “invented." Just because some laws have changed doesn’t mean misogyny disappeared. As for men falling behind in education. yes, it’s a serious issue, and it deserves attention. But the fact that it doesn't get enough is not proof of "misandry" it reflects how patriarchy devalues vulnerability in men. Society teaches boys they shouldn’t need help, shouldn’t fall behind, shouldn’t feel anything. That’s not feminism’s doing. Thats the patriarchy hurting men, too. …

Eating three meals a day is about staying alive. And honestly, not everyone even needs three meals. Some people have discipline with food, which is actually attractive. So yeah, it is the analogy I want to use. You can’t run desirability through a calculator. People aren’t stats. If you constantly need to prove women want you, then clearly you don’t believe it yourself. Real confidence is not needing to check if the world still finds you attractive every five seconds. It’s being secure whether y…

You don’t need to eat 20 meals to confirm you're not starving. Just like you don’t need to sleep with 20 women to know you're desirable. If a man needs to keep 'verifying' his options, then he's not confident. He's insecure, and he's chasing external validation. If a man feels the need to constantly "verify" his options through sex, he’s not validating himself, he’s chasing validation from others. A confident man knows he’s desirable by how women respond to him, just like a woman can tell she’s …

Oh, so now it’s “femcel” hysteria to point out basic nuance? You cite Pew and Brookings but completely ignore the actual implications of their findings. Yes, male loneliness has been widely discussed, but that doesn’t mean it’s being accurately interpreted. The "epidemic" label is driven more by panic headlines than consistent longitudinal data. Like you mentioned yourself, male singledom dips significantly after 30. So, where exactly is this irreversible crisis? And the rise of women marrying l…

People complain about dating online, but saying women are “crying the loudest” is more projection than proof. For every TikTok or Reddit post from a woman venting about ghosting or situationships, there’s a comment section full of men raging about body counts, boss babes, and how women “don’t bring anything to the table.” The frustration is mutual. The only difference is men become incels, and social rejects that don't contribute anything to society therefore become a danger to women/society. As…

You’re acting like anyone denied the fact that on average, women have been more likely to value marriage but you’re completely missing the point. No one’s arguing that “plenty of men value commitment” disproves anything. It’s a response to the narrative that only women are desperate for it, when the data shows it’s not that black and white. You’re throwing around “Pew data” like it proves some deep truth when all it really shows is more women are able to be in relationships, not that they’re desperate to be in them. You keep acting like women being partnered up means they’re the ones begging for love and commitment. Nope. it means women are the ones being chosen and doing the choosing. Okay, but you're mixing up two different points here. Yes, most women want relationships or dating experiences with some level of commitment. That’s not in question. What we’re pushing back on is the idea that women are desperate for marriage or settling down super young. There's a big difference between wanting connection and being in a rush to lock it down by 22. Your own stat actually proves our point. Women do date, they do like relationships but on their terms. /r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 07:37 AM

LMAO acting like women are the ones desperate for commitment in 2025 is wild. Most of y’all aren’t single by choice you're single because women are done settling for bare minimum. Women aren’t chasing commitment like they used to. They’re building careers, living their lives, and only considering relationships when the man actually brings them peace. The rise of “situationships” and “sneaky links” didn’t come out of nowhere. Women helped shape that culture too. So yeah, keep calling it delusion …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 07:22 AM

Again, I never said women IN relationships don’t want commitment. My point was that the women who are really eager or desperate to get married are usually ALREADY in long-term relationships 2 to 8+ years deep. Single women, across the board, just aren’t rushing to get married like that anymore. They’re dating around, hooking up, and doing their thing just like men do. Commitment usually comes AFTER a relationship has been established, not before. Plus, a lot of younger women literally popularize…

Don’t worry! The message has definitely spread. Women are far less likely to remarry after divorce, so you've got plenty of 30+ divorcées just looking for fun. And younger women? A lot more are participating in hookup culture these days. So really, sounds like you're in luck!
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 03:00 AM

I'm pretty sure the same men who avoid committing to their long-term girlfriends wouldn’t exactly love being proposed to themselves. Speaking as someone who used to struggle with commitment before meeting my husband I would’ve hated being proposed to after making it clear I wasn’t ready.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 02:56 AM

Well, you're already a better woman than me because I’d take being a spoiled "slut" with no chores over being a loyal wife getting mistreated and cheated on any day.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 01:13 AM

Okay, so if you're a woman, would you rather be a loyal wife to a man who emotionally neglects you and cheats on you, or be a 'slut' who gets spoiled without having to cook or clean?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 01:01 AM

Yeah, men and women both cheat. No one’s denying that. But that doesn't make my statement not true lol. Men love sluts. They marry them, cheat on their wives with them, empty their pockets for them. And yeah, women file more but that’s often because they’re the ones actually doing the emotional labor and finally decide enough is enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 12:46 AM

Saying “women want commitment more than men” is just running with an old stereotype. People are different. Some guys do want commitment. Some girls don’t. And googling something like “why don’t men want to commit” vs “why don’t women want to commit” just shows what society thinks, not what’s actually true. Acting like all women are desperate for marriage and all men are scared of it is just outdated. We’re not in the 1950s anymore. The marriage rate + birth rates are declining because more women…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 12:40 AM

That statement would be true if men weren't actively cheating on their wives and abandoning their children for sluts. Being a wife in today's day and age is a humiliation ritual. I would rather be a slut and reap the benefits than be a wife and get cheated on.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 12:33 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/25 12:28 AM

I agree. In high school all of my friends were not interested in long term relationships. I was always more on the conservative side and have never participated in the hookup culture but almost every woman i've met isn't desperate to get married. What part of my response "proves“ I have no empathy for men?? I literally stated “I don't automatically assume every man that is single is a loser.“

Verifying that you "have options" isn’t the same as sleeping around. If a man needs to sleep with multiple women just to convince himself he has options, then what he really lacks is confidence. Which is also a major turn off for a lot of women. The moment someone has to act on a desire to prove something, that’s already weakness. They're being led by ego and lust, not logic or values. You don’t need to sleep with 20 women to know you’re desirable.

Honestly, as a woman with a lot of men in her life (brothers, brothers male friends, male friends, etc) i never ask or am curious about their dating life. Most of them are single but i would never assume it's involuntary and if it was i doubt they would go around announcing that. I don't automatically assume every man that is single is a loser. I have met and encountered a few men who I automatically think "wow, how you have a girlfriend/wife is beyond me. I wonder what she's doing dating a lose…

You’re mixing up building the options with acting on them. It might take discipline to get in shape or become high status so women want you. Sure. But if you always indulge a desire, you’re not controlling it. You're feeding it. True discipline is having the options and choosing not to be ruled by them. By your logic, the man is ‘in control’ because he’s doing whatever his lust wants that’s not control, that’s giving in every time. That’s exactly the opposite of what discipline means. Therefore.…

Because sex isn’t just some mindless recreational hobby like playing video games. it comes with real physical, emotional, and social consequences. Without discipline, you risk. People give us flack because it’s not “normal.” My husband and I accept that. we know our relationship makes some people uncomfortable. But we would never try to advocate to normalize what we have. He’s lost friends over the criticism, and so have I. We both fully understood from the start that we’d be judged and even ostracized for being together, but we chose it anyway because we love each other. It’s not a lack of discipline if someone has sex once a week with the same person. someone he knows is clean. I wouldn’t see that as lacking sexual discipline at all, especially if it were with me. It’s still just one partner, not a revolving door. < You can just ask them lol Right, because people never lie. Brilliant plan. < Safe sex is a thing. There are literal pornstars who are STD free. I would never want to be with a man who would. I find discipline in a man extremely attractive, and a lack of sexual discipline is a huge turn-off for me. Why would I want to be married to the town bike? As for your last question, a guy “banging a new woman every week” is putting a lot at risk. He has no idea how many partners those women have had, which makes him more likely to contract an STD. If it were with the same woman he knew was clean, then sure "nobody gets hurt" but I’m not taking my …

As someone married to a man significantly older than me, I can tell you it’s not older women who judge or ostracize me. They usually mind their own business. It’s my friends and other young women I meet who think it’s disgusting or unnatural to be with someone so much older. Young men tend to keep quiet, while older men are often the worst. They make crude, creepy comments that neither me ie my husband find funny or acceptable.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 07:08 AM

Thats not true. I am married to a man significantly older than me and I get ostracized and judged for it. I am aware of how uncomfortable it makes people. Both women and men in these cases get judged for it, not just the men.

As someone in an aged gap relationship, a lot of unwanted negative attention does not come from bitter jealous men or women. It comes from family members and friends who are concerned and are aware of how unnatural it is for someone my age to be with someone significantly older than me.

It’s not false hope. There are so many people with disabilities, on the spectrum, who still find love and connection with someone. The women you’ve asked out so far just weren’t the right ones. That doesn’t mean the right person isn’t out there. Most dating forums and events can feel like a total sausage fest. But have you tried traveling more? Don't be so pessimistic. Everyone has value—even if not everyone can see it. That’s part of the beauty of life. You haven’t even met all the people who are going to love you yet. Somewhere out there, maybe across the world, there’s a girl who’s also 4ft tall, feeling just as limited by her circumstances. You just have to keep trying. You never know what’s waiting.

Comparison is the thief of joy. A random crush is just having lack of information. I have thought random men were attractive or have noticed certain things about them but i never compare them to my husband. Same with random woman. I notice when they are attractive but I try not to compare them to me because i know i'm only judging them based on their looks.

My husband has spoiled me by doing all those things without me needing to ask, so it's now become the standard. He continues to do them even when we're fighting or when he's upset with me. It's so natural now that I hardly notice when he does it, but if he ever stopped, I would definitely notice.

Well then they're doing you a favor. Maybe those women are looking for a way to escape their circumstances, and you might not be the solution they need. Again, you should be asking yourself if that's the kind of woman you want. Consider it a good thing that they showed their true motives early on instead of stringing you along with fake promises until they find someone who makes more money. 63% of men under 30 are single, which is significantly higher than the women in the same age group. The government officials were elected because they appeal to certain men. A significant portion of young Republicans consists of incels and red-pillers. They are being influenced to think that pursuing a "trad-life" should be their end goal. This is harming our society and creating a deep divide.

I don't think you should be asking what financial status women want in a man but should be asking yourself what kind of woman you want for yourself. It seems like you are trying to date women who are either well-established in their careers or are used to a certain level of financial comfort.

I wasn't only referring to crime; I was addressing the overall political climate today. We're witnessing an increase in incels and red-pillers who struggle to get laid, and they're directing their anger at society. Women's reproductive rights being stripped away isn't going to limit their ability to "date around"; if anything, it will actually restrict men's ability to date around without commitment, which will only increase the incel community. I think it's the opposite. Except they don't really "defend“ them; they just make excuses for them or try to justify what they are being criticized for. It's quite exhausting, actually, because a man will never return the favor.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/25 04:34 AM

I agree. I don't understand why the men in this sub have an issue with women being "selective" or "picky." They criticize women yet turn around and do the same. They also treat women who they are just sleeping with much differently than they treat women they are actually interested in.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/02/25 07:54 PM

The same applies to both men and women. Humans weren't designed to encounter so many different faces as social media and dating apps present. Our prescription of beauty is always changing. It's conditioning. It's the same reason why so many men have porn-rotted brains. A man who would have been seen as attractive in the 70's, a guy who has a good job, good personality, takes care of his body and health, and is overall a solid person, will not be attractive in 2025. Where's your evidence for that…

A lot of women who rate themselves a 10/10 don't actually believe they are a 10/10. The metric in which they measure themselves differs between men and women; women tend to factor in more than just looks, while men focus solely on physical appearance. OP is trying to tell women to "lower their standards, but there's no reason for them to do so. After all, who wouldn't want to date above their league with little to no effort? I've never had a FWB or a hookup. But if I had to guess, with a hookup, you just want something quick and meaningless. Like fast food! You know it's not good-quality food, but it gets the job done, and it's convenient. With a bf/husband, you want to savor it. You want to enjoy the appetizer (kisses, small touches) before you get to the meal. What he gets is you lol. He gets you for a long time, not a short time. Sure, fast food is good. But it's not good as a steady diet. Eventually, we all want…

It doesn't matter if a woman who isn't a 10/10 thinks she is. Confidence is a mindset. Correct, women have always worked. However, now they receive equal pay and benefits as men. Also, now their jobs are not limited as before. Your respect, or opinion, holds no significance, just as mine holds none for you. I made a sweeping assertion regarding what you had to say. I based my judgment on his comment. From what he said, he is a social reject. Disliking a demographic that makes up half the world would suggest he is a social reject. His negative feelings toward women he has never met further highlight this. Successful men who manage to attract women, even while harboring disdain for them, possess qualities that incels and social outcasts lack.

I agree, it's a nice gesture for someone you love. However, his claim that this is the "only way to decrease misogyny in the world" and that it makes him more "amendable to disliking females less" is very telling. He literally said, "If you local females want men to stop being so hateful, find an incel to love and get to work." The only way to decrease misogyny is to cook for a man? Wow, I respect men less and less every day. Why should women have to cook for men for them to be decent human beings? Some men are really pathetic if their morality comes from having a girl cook for him and "work on him.“ This attitude is exactly why they end up as incels and social rejects.

I think it's their way of coping. By creating false standards that are so unattainable, they can blame their failures on that instead of facing the truth. It gives them something to point fingers at. "Women aren't interested in me because I'm not 6 feet tall,” when the truth is they are a raging narcissist, or "Women don't want me because I don't make six figures,” and not because they are genuinely terrible people. No, sir. Your spouse and family become your immediate family, but your parents and siblings still remain your nuclear family. I’m married, but I’m still really close to my siblings and nephew. Women put in effort to remain close to their family, married or not married. It means that they don’t put in the effort, which is why most of them die alone.

The exchange is being desired. Fat, ugly, single women are still desired, even if it’s by some desperate ugly man. Fat, ugly, single men are not. Because desperate women do not exist in masses like men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 05:10 PM

Again, the quality of the options is irrelevant; they remain choices regardless of their nature. Knowing that you are desired even if it’s by someone you think is undesirable is still better than knowing you are not desired even by those you don’t think are desirable. If men weren’t desperate, then we wouldn’t be seeing the rise of red pill men who blame everyone but themselves for their failures. If pussy was not hard to find, then incels wouldn’t exist. When women say they are “lonely,” they mean they are not with anyone. They aren’t actually lonely when it comes to friends and family. Women build communities around them. When men say they are lonely, they are truly LONELY. They are social rejects and don’t know how to function in group settings.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 04:39 PM

Again, it doesn’t matter if the value is overestimated. It exists regardless of how low you perceive it to be. If something is in demand, it holds value.

It doesn’t matter if those “options” are not interested in commitment. It’s still more than what men have. Which is zero options. They don’t even have someone who will pity fuck them.

It doesn’t matter if it’s an “illusion of options,” it’s still more than what men have. Men don’t have the “option” to have sex with the hottest woman unless they themselves are hot.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 03:50 PM

Women don’t cling to abusive relationships in fear of solitude. Single, childless women are often among the happiest group of people. Women build relationships outside of romantic relationships. They build communities. It’s MEN who are dying alone in masses. The only thing driving men away from dating is their inability to improve themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/01/25 03:46 PM

MGTOW make up a small group of men. Women don’t need to believe anything. Men ARE desperate. I think you’re underestimating just how desperate men are for an ounce of pussy.

More men are complaining about being single than women are. Not approaching ≠ men rejecting women. Woman do not have fragile egos, women approach men they find desirable. Women tend to get approached more frequently than men. For every desperate woman, there are at least three desperate men, and that’s a conservative estimate.

Then why are so many men complaining? We hear it all the time. They complain that “simps” have inflated fat women’s egos by giving them attention, so clearly they are desired by some men. Fat women, single mothers, and “feminist militants” often remain single by their own choice. Unlike some men, who not even the women I just listed are desperate enough to want them.

I never said I viewed masculine and feminine roles as that. I only mentioned that some men, like my father and husband bring out the more feminine side of me than other men. Both roles cannot co-exist not even in nature.

Men can’t believe women are single by choice because men are not single by choice. Even the women they call “mid,” ugly, or fat don’t want them. Not even single mothers, who some men think are less desirable, want them. That’s why they can’t sympathize with women because they can’t imagine ever being desired, not even by women they think are not desirable.

Its sad that he wants to be another grown adult’s hero, and yes wanting to be needed is pretty sad if you think about the implications of the mental state of someone who wants to be needed. Men’s fantasies often originate from the superheroes they admired in their childhood, while women’s dreams of being “saved” originate from what they grew up watching—Disney movies and princesses. It’s unfortunate that you haven’t experienced that kind of love to understand it. I don’t think it effects his men…

Oh, for sure. I think it’s more of a fantasy than anything. The dynamic only works if the woman still has some agency and is still independent in her own ways. If not, then it can turn bad really quickly. Perhaps men don’t want someone to take care of them in the same way women do, but they still want to come home to a clean house and a warm, cooked meal. That’s also, in a way, being taken care of.

Oh for sure. But I feel like if something were to happen to cause us to split, I would still love him. The love itself has manifested itself into unconditional love because I’ve loved him for this long already. But if he were to one day put his hands on me I’m sure that would change our relationship.

No, my man doesn’t have any social media and hardly uses his phone except for what it’s actually meant for—calling, texting, taking photos. And I prefer it that way. I feel like social media rots our brains and puts unnecessary pressure onto us. I’ve tried explaining the whole pill debate and incels to him but he doesn’t understand it. It’s sad that my husband loves me? Everyone likes to be needed. It’s what makes us human. Wanting to be needed and “catering” to his wife most definitely makes him a good man. At least in the eyes of God, which is all that matters.

In the beginning of any relationship the love is conditional. But I think through time the loves becomes almost unconditional. I love my husband unconditionally. If he woke up and decided to change his gender I would most definitely be devastated and heartbroken to know that the man I was in love with doesn’t really exist but I would still want to be with him. I would just fall in love with the new him while mourning the old him I thought I knew. I love him so much that sometimes it becomes so o…

My husband and I have a more traditional relationship, but I do not “submit” to him. He does, however, like to be NEEDED. He enjoys being needed and takes pride in being my hero. He goes out of his way to make my life easier, like filling my car with gas and opening doors for me. Anytime I have an emergency or need any help, he likes that he’s the first person I call or need. A gold digger is a person who pursues a relationship with a wealthy person for the sole purpose of gaining access to their money. That was not at all what I said. The average man is not wealthy; therefore, he can’t really be exploited. A man’s value isn’t determined by how much money he has. Still, any man wanting to date or get married should have some way to support himself and If he can’t even pay for a date, it makes him a less appealing choice for a partner. No respectable man would ever expect any woman to foot the bill. Ideally, a date shouldn’t cost more than $100, and that’s a bit much. If a “high-value” man can’t afford to pay for it, then he is not high value. Splitting the bill with men is what gets you in relationships like you just mentioned. Not paying the bill and keeping firm in your standards helps weed out men you’re not compatible with. I think many men have a skewed perception of what they see as “fat” or “skinny.” From what I’ve noticed, most men tend to be attracted to women who are either curvy in the hips or bust, which often means that those women carry a bit more weight.

I agree, no one owes anyone commitment unless they explicitly agreed to it. What do you mean make an entire page about it? And what legal action are men taking against it? Thank you for also sharing your thoughts. Historically, women had very few choices when it came to marriage. Many had to marry before they reached an age where they would be considered a spinster, leaving them little time to assess whether their partner was truly deserving. The pressure often came from family and society, making women feel that their chances of finding a husband dwindled as they aged. With limited rights to own property or earn a living, many ended up marrying men who were not i…

We are now able to have just as much sex as men without being shamed or shunned from society. Pussy does indeed run the world; if it didn’t, we wouldn’t be seeing such a rise in red-pill men or incels who can’t get any pussy. Both are worse. The fact that one is an adult woman and the other is a child boy doesn’t change the reality that both were victims of abuse by someone in a position of power. The only reason sex was used for commitment back then was mainly because there weren’t many birth control methods available, which led to unplanned pregnancies. Femininity and masculinity should come naturally. There are certain men who I feel feminine around because they naturally assume the masculine part. For example, and I know this doesn’t define what masculinity means, but when I’m around my father or husband, I never have to worry about footing the bill or having to do any heavy lifting or I just feel safe. And I’ve been around men who just stand around, which forces me to take the masculine part.

Whenever I hear someone say they are “strong and independent” I always take it as they are emotionally strong and independent. That they aren’t kids or teenagers anymore who rely on their parents or other people. I like to think I’m independent though some might not think so considering I’m a stay at home wife who is financially dependent on my husband.
