Bold of you to assume he's even going 50/50, some lvm like tricking women into paying entirely claiming they're sooo broke and not by their own fault bohoo his complaint about expensiveness might just be taxis and tickets and stuff

It's practically impossible to find a man who has never watched porn, but I do think it's possible to find men who don't watch porn during a relationship or who have just stopped watching porn generally. And that's fine for me, but I understand if you want to find someone basically untouched by porn. Or if you're afraid men will just lie and say they don't watch it and then do.

That's what I don't get, they somehow think showing off money will get them loooots of hot women, but they also don't plan to spend any money. So do these guys apparently think gold diggers just love looking at bank statements, breathe the smell of money, and use osmosis to absorb tiny money particles? Why else would a gold digger want to date a rich guy who doesn't spend money on them?

What does this girl even mean by "all of a sudden he's a selfish prick"? Her dad was being a selfish prick when he was even asking to have anal despite the bleeding wound, not only when he divorced the mom. And I guarantee you that he had behaved like a prick Long before she just didn't realise it. Gah, every man who behaves like this should get their leg cut open slightly, and then the wound should be penetrated with a dildo just do they see what pain they cause their partners. Except genital w…

Everyone's talking about the "non monogamous" part but what surprises me the most is how he got the partner he had in the first place??? And this girl was just like: oh, THIS is the guy I want to date and he can sleep with other women"

Counterpoint: men lovr being approached because it boosts their ego. They probably will treat you badly afterwards which is the actual problem, not that they don't love it

Same with "I don't need Valentine's day to show you I love you so i won't do anything on Valentine's day" but they don't do anything remotely nice on all other days either.

Exactly, it's not ignoring someone just because you're not responding right away. I wouldn't say I ignore my boyfriend just because I don't answer texts for a few hours. I guess it depends on the time frame though, I would be so mad if my boyfriend didn't respond for an entire day because he is gaming.

This doesn't seem like a man who is motivated enough to get a side piece. Probably just texts girls dick pics and is frustrated that no one has wanted to sleep with him yet.

Everyone is talking about love and appreciation on that thread and making the wife feel special. I'm thinking that failing to follow simple instructions despite getting reminders for a week shows not a lack of love but a lack of basic respect, intelligence and any kind of empathy. This is someone who might kill you accidentally because getting you the correct medicine on time is too inconvenient for them

Did we date the same person? Apparently ADHD is the reason my ex can't listen, take the train, clean the apartment, get groceries or do basically anything he doesn't want to do. He also claims because I don't have ADHD I can't imagine how much harder life is for him. Somehow he is symptom free when it suits him though. And I don't think ADHD usually causes people to sit on their ass all day while they complain and play video games. That's not how the symptoms work. Edit: nevermind, I read your c…

There are many kinds of hvm and hvw. They only share some qualities like kindness, respect and self discipline. I'm sure there are plenty of hvm looking for the kind of hvw you are.

I guess it also depends on culture. I'm from China and when I was a kid most kids were watching anime and most of us aren't behaving like anime characters or lusting after them. But I guess if no one else in someone's environment watches anime and they still watch it a lot, then it's more of a red flag or orange flag while it's pretty normal for my friend circle.

There are different kinds of "high maintenance". I support getting expensive gifts, going on nice vacations, spending money on makeup, whatever. But there is also the kind of high maintenance woman that throws a tantrum if her partner gets her the wrong color of flowers and that will yell at wait staff if she doesn't like her food enough. And I just dislike the way this sub glorifies being high maintenance and this black and white thinking. Being high maintenance and taking care of yourself is g…

I think some lvm simply delude themselves into thinking they are in a "the bachelor" situation where women fight over them and have to prove they're better than the other applicants.

Please be extra careful because you are coming out of a relationship with a lvm. Since he is your reference point, anything the new guy does better might impress you. Still, he is showing an insane amount of red flags and I don't understand what you see in him at all. Weed smoker who complains about condoms and has no money although he has a steady job? And he doesn't clean his apartment before your visit? Urgh.

I disapprove of watching porn too BUT your comparison is too much. Women have been severely traumatised and sometimes killed or driven into suicide by rapists. Saying rape is just doing anything you don't consent to is making lightly of the worst thing you can do to a woman. I don't consent to theft either but I wouldn't say theft is similar to rape although both are vile crimes.

I was completely creeped out because I at first thought your doctor was hitting on you and claiming you enjoyed vaginal exams. Glad to see it at least was a guy you dated even though he is a douchebag

My boyfriend is insanely shy. He doesn't talk a lot. His friends and relatives still know he's with me. So I don't know what this guy's excuse is, if "her friend" even asked him.

I disagree strongly. I'm not feeding their delusions. What we do daily affects other women as well. If a man thinks he's entitled to have a servant, and you behave like one, you're enforcing his behavior. If you can't avoid these idiots at least show self respect. Also, a guy who thinks a woman should stay home and serve him is not someone who will go out of his way to do you favors just because you bat your eyelashes. He thinks you're his servant and why would he give his servant a lift home if…

Omg, so true, but I never saw the correlation until you pointed it out. My ex totally nickeled and dined me for stuff like "I carried your bags once" like bitch, I'd even do that for a complete stranger and you don't want to do it for your girlfriend?

Stinginess isn't the biggest problem, they are just selfish. My ex always had money for expensive alcohol, video games, consoles, expensive food, etc. But when it had anything to do with others he was stingy as heck, like refusing to visit me because train tickets are expensive and never buying gifts for friends and relatives. I now see stinginess as a mere symptom of selfishness.

I can agree on erring on the side of caution. But my point is: even if your gut tells you he is harmless, he MIGHT still harm you. If your gut tells you he will harm you, RUN. I do not mean gut Feelings are useless, but they aren't 100 percent reliable either. We can find plenty of stories online about women blindsided by a man they never doubted before.

I don't see any correlation between lvm and having fewer/more female friends. If he has many, it could be because he's in a female dominated field of study or because women tend to like him OR because he secretly tries to sleep with them. If he has few female friends it could be because women find him creepy OR he has hobbies shared mostly by men.

To be fair I didn't vet my boyfriend either before getting in a relationship and he is great. But that's just because I got lucky, just like a employer can accidentally get a reliable and smart employee.

I don't see the Problem IF he reciprocates. That's why I don't like a lot of tips on fds too, telling me not to do "wifey" things... there should be no problem in doing him favors if he reciprocates or does more for me than I do for him. Because Only a doormat would keep giving his girlfriend love and favors for decades while receiving zero in return. And I'm definitely not looking for a doormat.

Thanks for the tip. Let's all watch out for female friends so they don't become victims of this either.

I'm not giving them the benefit of the doubt, I just think a lot of men are idiots or sociopaths who don't know what they're doing is wrong. The principle of only doing what you want to be done to you is beyond their understanding. But I do think that if they do something shitty it doesn't matter if it's because of his culture/sociopathy/stupidity, because even if he didn't know he did something wrong I don't want to date someone with misogynistic culture/sociopathy/stupidity anyway.

It's not necessarily sluttiness. I had several "friends" hit on me suddenly after they started studying in a male-dominated field. We had known each other for years because of school but none of them had shown interest then. I suspect they are just desperate, don't feel bad about yourself or your perceived sluttiness, feel bad for these degenerates whose wellbeing depends on hitting on women regularly.

I feel the same way. I mean my theory is just a theory, the more likely explanation is that these men are just delusional.

I have a conspiracy theory: nudes from ugly men work just like spam mail. Scam emails are usually badly written and unbelievable ON PURPOSE, such as a Nigerian prince wants to give you millions. Because the worst case isn't a person who doesn't reply, but a person who talks to the scammer for hours and THEN realises its a scam after all, wasting the scammers time. They hope to lure in someone who can't even see through the most obvious scam and who won't jump ship until the money is wired. So ma…

This has nothing to do with weight. Lvm get upset over confidence in skinny women too... "just because she's pretty she thinks she's better than me?"
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/03/20 03:58 PM
24

In my experience, if you lower your expectations you get even less than that. This depends on whether it's a lvm or hvm of course, but lvm are always trying to find out what they can get away with. If they can suddenly get away with shitty behaviour they will instantly try shittier behaviour.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/03/20 03:56 PM

This is actually more optimistic than I expected. I know lvm who are just unemployed or work part-time but still don't do any chores because their wife's full-time job isn't "real work" and because cooking is a woman's job.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy26/03/20 07:02 PM

I think there is a lot of middle ground between high and low maintenance. Also high maintenance does not equal high standards. example: a girl who demands that her lvm boyfriend pays for lavish vacations and expensive gifts but who stays with a cheater with bad body hygiene. I don't think being high maintenance is bad per se, but I don't only see it as a defining or positive trait either.

Don't beat yourself up over your looks either. I know that Megan fox is 100 times more attractive than me, but that doesn't mean every guy I have dated wishes he could date Megan fox instead. Just don't date shallow men no matter if ugly or hot, that's it, and make your date prove to you with his behaviour that he loves you no matter if he finds Megan fox attractive too.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy24/03/20 05:36 PM

So he only would be willing to pay for dates when the woman is attractive. But all his dates have to split the cost so far. In conclusion, he has only dated women he finds unattractive? Lol, weird flex but ok

Forgetting her birthday twice is one thing, blaming her for saying anything because it was "only 9pm" is ridiculously bad gaslighting. It also seems insane to me that she only expected birthday wishes, not even a gift, and men are still telling her she is asking for too much. What is the next post going to be like ? Yep, there is not much complexity there. It's much easier to say "woman are too demanding" than to admit you're single because you have body odor, no income, and no skills besides playing call of duty.

Why would lvm men not want to talk you out of having standards? Think of lvm like a used car salesman. He is desperate and wants to meet his quota (such as find any attractive woman before he dies a 70 year old virgin.) So of course he will try to talk you into giving him a chance, he doesn't have many other buyers lined up and doesn't plan on giving you much anyway. any "deal" he offers you benefits him much more. if you ask for anything he will claim it's impossible and he's losing money on th…

This! At some point letting men mistreat you also hurts other women, sadly. My biggest regret is dating a selfish and lazy jerk, because I think I encouraged his behaviour by giving him any affection at all. If all women collectively started implementing fds the next generations would be so much better off because only hvm get to have families and raise well educated children while all lvm die alone.
