LOL...I can relate on several levels. It took the Pandemic/Shutdown for me to finally see where l wasted just over 1/2 my life (I'm currently 55😐) in BAD Decision making in concerning my child and ex-husband. I saw where so many poor decisions came back to "bite"... but I'm weathering the storm. It's definitely my "Dark Night of Soul" process right now but I'll be okay. Take the time "grieve" if that is what you need; it's okay. ❤️👍🏾

l would say No... Because for the most part, they learned to better mask their negative behavior for the next woman not to catch it. I've been divorced going on 20 years, and every so often my LV ex-husband reminds WHY I filed. Also it's a reflection/reality check for myself, making sure I'm not repeating/tolerate such behavior in myself or in the few men I've dated since. Guess that's why I Chose to be Alone.💁🏾‍♀️👍🏽💐💵👑

When I saw a FB comment my child left about "Who gets fed first...the husband or the children?" Once again, I saw a side of my child that is not good and that he is a product of mating Out of Season with a NVM. (Sigh...😐🥃🚬)

Random thoughts... -My dear Grandmother put FOUR husbands in the grave before she left here, so Im already 3x behind. -My silly, immature sister decided to have a child under Questionable Circumstances by an obvious NVM. My child is grown/gone; tried to Warn her of Impending Doom; she thinks she has the Ultimate Red Snapper. Fast forward, 3yrs later, I have a autistic Spectrum nephew, frazzled sister who fights with NVBD just about every day. (I feel for her, but I chuckled to myself too. Oh wel…

Congratulations! Trust me... later on down the line, you will have vague reminders of "woulda/coulda/shoulda", which is normal when you take a Big Step. Just remember the Things about him that ran you Screaming to the Divorce Lawyer...🤔🙄👍🏽🥃🚬🤦🏽‍♀️ Been 22 years and was reminded just yesterday WHY I divorced that man...🙄🤦🏽‍♀️🙂👍🏽

I wished I known about this group a while ago...it would have saved me several long texts that basically were sent into the the Universe/Void. As soon as I hit send I knew it was a waste of data, but I felt a little better, figuring that I got it off my chest and MAYBE one day he just might actually READ it! I know it was silly of me, but you live/learn.

I would be looking at the husband sideways if I was her...

(Raising Hand...) Could it be that he's in a relationship already, and in his twisted little mind---> "As long as I don't have oral sex with the side chick, I'm being faithful!" I'm being totally serious; I have heard this crazy explanation about why a guy was turning down a BJ, but still wanted sex. Otherwise, don't no man turn down a BJ unless they just don't want to be bothered with You.

You could say that...my ex was/is a vindictive person. One minute sweet, next minute hateful. We was together damn near 20 yrs, married for 4 of them. He was a large chunk of my 20s to late 40s. Divorced him in '99, but FINALLY rid of him 2019. It took time, reflection, Therapy just to get to this point and Im still working on it. This group is just a reminder that I'm not alone in the process.

OMGawd... I thought my ex-husband was the only only one that did that dumb s**t! Every time I would do something that he didn't like... I would just miss out on something great/good happening. Example: I would go out with my girlfriends and he gets in his Feelings...next thing I know, he would say that he had tickets for some concert but Gave them Away because I didn't Act Right! Never thought I would say that being married was so tiring most times.

Thank you for confirming this for me...I admit I was guilty of this behavior. I called myself VENTING to the Universe on the idiot's text just so that it would be known...of course it was obvious he didn’t read anything I typed! Silly of me I know. Blocked, Blocked BLOCKED! Moved on.
