You can't prove it, you can only stay steadfast in accusing her that she's slept with someone else. What STI is it? If it's HPV, 85% of people have that and it's likely you both have had it since you met.

Pure delusion. How you don't realize that the entire legacy media is corrupt is beyond me -- the American media ALMOST failed us all... because they were overwhelmingly biased toward bashing Trump. The establishment has you by the balls.

HPV has a prevalence of about 85% in adults, with about 50% being more serious strains of HPV. Sadly I got it too before a vaccine was available. Developed a couple warts that I had removed a decade ago, but nothing since.

Seriously? Even when the woman makes considerably more? Seems that would be easy to fight under the claim of discrimination.

Mine started because she had "EMDR" therapy that worked on a repressed memory of hers regarding some child she saw getting neglected by her parents. She then related this to herself and her upbringing, and then it became "I deserve more" in every aspect of life including her marriage (meanwhile we never fought, I brought in 90% of the income, we went on lavish vacations, and I enabled & funded her ability to chase her dream job). 4 years later we're both still single. Sad shit.

At least in Texas, it doesn't matter where the funds are located... all funds leading up to the finalization of the divorce are split.

You know... life is short. Literally anything expressed to them in kindness will be appreciated vs. nothing at all. At 81 and 85 they could be gone tomorrow, and even if they don't respond out of respect for their daughter I am going to assume they will cherish any kind words that will lift their spirits. They're blood to your children after all. Myself, no kids... but I think the sentiment of appreciation for their love and support couldn't do anything but help. Like... who cares how it will pe…

I really appreciate your feedback. Thank you. I was very close with her family too but have not spoken to them since. Sometimes I feel like I didn't provide them a proper closure upon our divorce -- tell them how much I appreciated them welcoming me into their family, and how I will miss them and wish their daughter the best. Thought about doing that one day recently, but too much time has passed. Too little too late, but that's okay.

Thank you -- sound and solid advice. I will not be saying a word.

Thank you -- no children together, so I appreciate that clarification and will stay the course.

Thank you so much -- you are spot on. You're a great writer and I can tell you're a kind soul. I really appreciate it.

Thank you -- I imagine she'll discover the news eventually. She's blocked on my social media, but will eventually snoop another way.

Not at all... I don't want to have any relationship with her. I want to share the news as she told me she would want to know... she also said she'd want to provide me support were this to happen, but I wouldn't accept that or progress into further conversation as I've already received so much support from people that actually care about me. For the most part I think I want her to feel some of the same sadness I'm feeling; for her to feel a little bit of regret for how she handled our relationshi…

Thank you -- I just returned home after staying in my childhood home with my dad for 2 weeks. It's likely that I'm feeling lonely. Part of me feels a little guilty for not letting her know. Part of me wants her to feel sadness. I wouldn't be compelled to talk to her after letting her know, but perhaps it's best I follow your advice and stay quiet.

Wasn't very amicable... she was unfaithful and broke her promise to my mom that she'd never hurt me / cheat again like she had only 3 months into our relationship :-|

In Texas she is entitled to half of anything that was accrued during marriage. After 10 years she is entitled to spousal support/alimoney

Yeah, perhaps -- I read it initially as how much did the divorce "process" cost. Well, at least now I've answered both

She paid hers, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. In the end, you're both splitting the total financial pie down the middle. In my case, I lost a good $200k of my self-made earnings on top of the $20k spent on legal.

About $20k. Both had lawyers, no kids. We did mediation

She took the marriage for granted? You're trying, love her, and will do what it takes to make it work... but you're filing in 4 days?

I'd love to sell my house and move back to my hometown to live near my parents in their final years, but can't afford to give up my 2.5% rate. I feel stuck

I've never understood this advice. Just have sex a second time if you bust too early.

They can help, but shouldn't be first-line defense. If you are not in personal therapy yet, I would strongly recommend doing weekly (if not twice weekly) sessions to help you develop coping skills and reflect on things. Anti-depressants can be an adjunct to therapy, but they aren't a cure-all and personal work through therapy is needed. I'm sorry you're going through this but time will heal, and there will be several silver linings from this experience.

In the $45k budget range, there isn't much better value than a CTR. NSX and R10 are totally different tiers.

Lol... whatTF is wrong with a Civic Type R? Badass, fast, versatile car. What do you drive?

Yup! My first fling after marriage... she was hot as hell, and eventually wanted kids in her life. Was on BC and didn't want me to wear protection. I complied and blew inside, but the stress of getting baby trapped led me to get a vasectomy a few months later. I don't have any kids and don't want them... now I advertise it, and sure that cuts down the pool of women quite a bit. But women who don't want kids (or at least not any more kids) are really into it. Win/win
