Mine has a watered down version and shitty gun laws. Unless you want to spend a year or more legally getting a hand gun you better hope police are around the corner or that the criminal follows the gun laws.

as a very vocal intactivist with a sister like that I will tell you I understand how your brother felt. My sister did much the very same at one point and it killed our relationship for quite some time so I understand that very well. Id tell your brother to start his own Facebook page for it to keep it from flooding his personal page. That's what I did and I have over 100 or 200 followers. Idk I don't check.

I have to say not very well made. Sexist in what way? There is beneficial and detrimental sexism so really it can only be yes for both. As there are thousands of different small things that can count as sexist the towards question can only be a guess or both for undecided. 2/10 would not trust results. Grammar edit.

"I do not agree with what you have to say, but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." -Voltaire I am saying your opinion is your opinion, it does not justify your beliefs but those beliefs are yours and not mine to meddle with to try and bring to my own.

I don't know who does that, but I can only speak for myself as a man who is unhappy to the point of rage about his circumcision that I won't down vote you for your opinion. I will however down vote you if you use bad logic/data/reasoning for whatever points you use to justify about anything.

Don't even. I love snow. I have stayed in New York for a while during winter and loved it. You have cold. We have cold that cuts through any amount of layering thanks to constant humidity. Think middle of the state is safe from it? WRONG! We have a huge lake, big enough to make even MOAR rain than the oceans on ether side.

/r/MensRights16/01/15 06:43 AM

I do. I had a long and very painful adolescence because of the body issues brought around with being circumcised.
/r/MensRights16/01/15 06:41 AM

No one said that. I said they are more violent. If 0.01% of women are charged with assault, and 0.02% of men are charged with assault, that doesn't make men violent. It does, however, make them more violent. There's nothing up for debate here. Your own comment betrays you.

Want more dictionary? verb (used with object), generalized, generalizing. 1. to infer (a general principle, trend, etc.) from particular facts, statistics, or the like. 2. to infer or form (a general principle, opinion, conclusion, etc.) from only a few facts, examples, or the like. 3. to give a general rather than a specific or special character or form to. 4. to make general; bring into general use or knowledge.
/r/MensRights15/01/15 01:25 AM
2

Well having not cited any real statistics I call BS on all of it. But you still gen·er·al·ize verb \ˈjen-rə-ˌlīz, ˈje-nə-\ : to make a general statement or form a general opinion; especially : to state an opinion about a larger group that is based on a smaller number of people or things within that group : to apply (something specific, such as a theory or rule) to larger group See. I can play the dictionary game to.

So the fear of baseless accusations should stop anyone for fighting for their own basic rights? It is worth because even there is a slight chance of that phone call. a VERY small chance because not all women are like that? Well considering you have a higher chance of changing her mind about what is right to have a group chant and whats not then yea. Totally worth it.

Someone on there even said The legal definition of rape is BEING penetrated without consent. BEING penetrated , not doing penetration . He wasn’t raped. This word has it’s meaning for good reason. What possible reason could there be to change that EXCEPT to enable the self serving MRA rhetoric that “women rape too yanno”? Edit: Do they have any cognitive skills? This trait is seen throughout all the comments.

Ashamed of it I will never be: the stream cannot flow forever, for its tide must turn inward into a new form of power. You can teach a three year old to say they want sex. that doesn't mean a three year old knows all the implications and ramifications that come with saying it. Those charges were your own mistake, you were an adult, you broke the law, and you knew what might happen. I am not happy with the law saying you have to be 21 to drink, or eighteen for sex. I think it should be eighteen all around. Then you get all the freedoms and responsibility with turning of age.

Ha! my post is coming from a man in favor of men. That is the most backwards thing I'v ever seen! Taking away a babies right to it's body just because it is male is about as anti man as it can get. Edit: It has to do with a baby boys rights = MRA issue.

By people who have never had dicks? Most intactavists are men! And so what if a woman wants to make sure her son isn't automatically mutilated at birth? If anything that is giving back the power to the ones with dicks, to the babies of witch it matters to.
/r/MensRights18/10/14 09:59 PM

Why not remove the breast buds out of girls from birth? They won't get breast cancer that way, why not remove fingernails an cauterize the tissue? We don't need them. For the same reason you leave someone uncut. Because taking those parts off are just damn crazy, they have a purpose. if boys didn't need foreskins they wouldn't have them, evolution would have gotten rid of them thousands of years ago.

/r/MensRights10/10/14 06:19 PM

So basically. "I'm glad I didn't report getting raped because the police are telling people how not to get in trouble at night makes rape my fault and okay."

Well being effeminate doesn't make a man any less of a man. and while I have met straight, gay, and bi people of ether gender the only person who didn't 'identify' as their gender was a girl who I used to be friends with. An only child who never saw allot of attention other than negative from her parents although she was spoiled. So I concluded it is not natural but a choice. In order to make one seem 'different' and 'special' So others would have to give her attention.
/r/MensRights10/10/14 12:52 AM
1

Or we can let them grow up as a boy or girl like nature intended? I don't want to start and argument but I feel the heart of the non-binary thing is someone needs to feel special or never had enough attention so they need to 'seek out' a way to be something no one is so they are not part of a crowed. the same can be said with anyone who acts out, they want attention and to stand out. Edit: word

I have to agree with /u/lafielle . Most femanists, especially the more radical ones (ie. My sister) were never really abuse, but feel that any look, action, or notion that doesn't go with her exact beliefs are an attack against them. I am no psychologist and I don't claim to be able to just tell if someone has been abused and I don't know if you are but all I have met have fallen under the "4 year old throwing a tantrum" category as well, using no premise or logic for their arguments.

But saying women shouldn't need proof when accusing a man of sexual assault and DV? I'm relatively sure a senator, someone with power can make life harder for men. If military sexual assault courts become what the colleges have then I, myself, am in some trouble as I tend to come off weird and do enjoy pissing people off. I would talk to your teacher about doing the same thing, but for men, not asking for extra credit or anything but explaining that you want to show the other side of the mirror as it was. If she was just reading from some doctrine and is not really indoctrinated then you have a god chance. Make your case beforehand, come up with responses to tough questions beforehand and expect the unexpected so you are ready. Edit: Suggest and in class debate?

As someone from the southern U.S. of A. High heals in stirrups are just plain dangerous, that's not being a man in woman's shoes, if you loose control of that horse and go flying off you'd better hope those are two sizes too big or you are likely to be dragged for quite a while. Edit: This is not an airport.

If she violates the restraining order then call the cops as many times as necessary for her to leave you alone, do it enough and They will probably have to hold her for a few days at least. you could also call your phone provider and have her number perma-blocked from you and your girlfriends numbers.

I don't think making fun of them is a way to go, but arguing with someone who can't hurt you is never not an option.

I agree although I wholly think that if someone is attacking you one quick fist to the temple and rendering them unconscious is the best way to go I see the amount of force he used was excessive, although he probably held back a terrifyingly high amount of his strength.

The good ones exist. I'v heard stories of volunteers at these shelters hate that they can't offer any real help for men. While I do not agree with OPs decision if a group like that was truly ignoring the needs of male DV and not, not able to help because they are not prepared for it, that's a different story entirely.
/r/MensRights06/09/14 01:29 AM

I will look for maybe a resident lawyer. Or an men friendly lawyer at a good rate for guaranteed business at any rate. But would be audacious of me not to ask why you specifically.

Yes, but there is evidence. she took the picture and showed it to people, countless witnesses and your own printed shlong on a magazine. That has to violate some kind of sex law.
/r/MensRights05/09/14 03:03 PM

You could have sued her ass off. I mean you still probably can, those are some serious offenses.
/r/MensRights05/09/14 02:31 PM

Well when regular shelters start accepting men when they come forward and stories like this stop and all are accepted then the desegregation of shelters for abused would have traction. I refer to this article for further explanation. http://www.avoiceformen.com/mens-rights/activism/domestic-violence-awareness-month-the-invisible-victims/ Format edit. Among spelling.
/r/MensRights05/09/14 02:27 PM

Women wouldn't be turned away outright, that would be terrible. Transportation would be provide to take them to a shelter where the would feel more comfortable and around people trained to help her. Edit: I wouldn't say Mens Only. But specifically geared towards men. Specializing. If all other shelters are full women would be accepted under those circumstances.
/r/MensRights05/09/14 01:17 PM
1

Well it's depending. Some stations you get two days at the station and two days off duty, either in government paid housing or on base housing, depending on where you live. But basically able to do as you please. That's why volunteers would be a hard press right at the start. I would want to open one in every new place I am stationed at and get them up and self sustaining by the time I get orders to transfer. (About four years)
/r/MensRights05/09/14 12:14 PM

I shall make a note of it in my handy dandy notebook. (No joke. Have a notebook for this and call it that.)

I wonder. Could it be women taking up skirt pics in women bathrooms? If it was a man no doubt they would notice a guy trying that. But a woman? And how may of theses are selfies? I'v seen plenty of intentional up skirt pictures. Don't...Don't as how I came across them.

I second this. If they say it is for girls and you cant go because you are a boy. You have real solid grounds to sue.

I would also say document EVERYTHING! When she's late/refuses to bringing your daughter. If she blows up on you for whatever reason. Interactions with your daughter. If it ends up in custody court the irritatingly constant documentation of you being a good father can only help your case.

In April 2014, the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives named Edmonton the worst Canadian city to be a woman. Edmonton is home to a vibrant and active feminist community, and one that earned the city international recognition with its innovative approach to combatting sexual assault, the "Don't Be That Guy" poster campaign, first launched in 2010. Strange how an active feminist community is in the worst place for women, and it's only getting worse. Could it be"You are the victim." mindset mak…

/r/MensRights31/08/14 04:59 PM

If I remember correctly they kick their boys out at 18. the reason because The pastor a the town back in the 1800's set super super strict rules on women so they collected together and worked all the men out to keep it from happening again. No source, I just remember reading it somewhere.
/r/MensRights31/08/14 04:31 PM

It's not necessarily counterproductive. If an AMA can convince a handful of feminists that the MRM isn't a woman hating group. Not counterproductive at all. At the most it would be non productive.
