I used to dislike r/MensRights. Today I changed my mind. Why would the religious organization be obligated to follow the same rules as everyone else? That is exactly the crux of the issue. Some people think that religious organizations do not have the right to follow their own beliefs in the way they provide a public service and some people think that they do. | /r/MensRights | 22/08/12 12:32 AM
[FR] - Asked the same girl out and got rejected again. But this time, it was more clear.I granted you one precious upvote for going for it. | /r/seduction | 27/08/11 05:01 AM
ACTUAL QUOTE: "if she feels she was raped, then she was probably raped. rape is rape. him drinking doesn't matter... The man should always know what he's doing"I must have been really drunk because I don't remember that at all. | /r/MensRights | 21/08/11 01:57 PM
My hot 17 year old neighbor wants to be FWB. I'm 26. Is this an awful or awesome idea?It could easily be true in your state as well. The Florida law was modeled after another state's law and almost no one is aware of the law until they get charged with a felony. | /r/seduction | 05/08/11 01:14 AM
My hot 17 year old neighbor wants to be FWB. I'm 26. Is this an awful or awesome idea?Florida has a law that says the age a of consent is 16, but if a person under 18 has sex with someone over age 23, the 23+ year old is committing a felony. I think several other states have similar laws. Good luck if that is the case. | /r/seduction | 05/08/11 12:44 AM
Do you know what bugs me?I know, but that is rare and it is completely identified with women in the public mind. | /r/MensRights | 07/07/11 11:38 PM
Do you know what bugs me?On a related note, when the subject of breast or ovarian cancer research/funding/prevention comes up (I have a pink "stop breast cancer" ribbon magnet on my truck), women frequently say some variant of "Why should you care, you are not going to get that?". It comes across as though they are incredibly self centered. I have a wife, a daughter, a sister, and a mother. I care about them even if I didn't care about preventing strangers from getting sick or dying. Of course I want the medical science… | /r/MensRights | 07/07/11 12:58 PM
Where do you pick up smart girls?Considering your situation, why do you want a girlfriend at this point? "Boohoo, the only available women in the area are really hot girls with low standards who love to party at the beach! Please help me!" Get a girlfriend in 2020. | /r/seduction | 26/06/11 11:26 PM
Approached random people this week and even asked a girl out...feeling good!Exactly. I saw a comedian talking about how political correctness is based on people wanting societ/government to protect them from being offended. He said "when you are offended, nothing happens." You are just offended. The same is true of when you attempt to interact/ask someone out and are turned down. Nothing happens. But something might happen if he/she doesn't turn you down. | /r/seduction | 25/06/11 08:20 AM
MensRights, I'm back in school to be a nurse, and was confronted by this shit todayI used to work in a major tertiary care hospital. I did some work in some of the intensive care units and got to know and work with the staff. There was a much higher percentage of male nurses in the ICU's and they were the most competent and knowledgeable. I do not know why that was the case, but it was definitely true. | /r/MensRights | 14/06/11 05:27 AM

Why do girls think this is acceptable? (X-post from F7U12)"You don't care if she comes, stays, lays or prays, whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'". That line is by Mike Damone, sleazebag and purveyor of great relationship/dating advice in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" Here is more: He is giving advice to his friend, Rat, using a Debbie Harry cutout from a record store in the mall as a prop. "First of all Rat, you never let on how much you like a girl. "Oh, Debbie. Hi." Two, you always call the shots. "Kiss me. You won't regret it." Now three… | /r/seduction | 06/04/11 02:37 AM
"Why are men today such losers?" - What do you think?I found it amusing that she said men are very career oriented and working very hard to manage in a competitive work environment. What makes them pre-men is that they do not want to marry. They are failing to live up to women's expectations, so they must be losers. | /r/MensRights | 21/03/11 01:47 AM
Gotta love West Virginia, proposing a bill to forbid adulterous spouses from collecting alimony from a divorceYour default setting seems to be that money would be withheld under the law. It would not. You are assuming that the adulterous spouse is somehow entitled to the money which is being unjustly withheld because of the adultery. That is not the case. Instead, alimony would not be granted. There is a distinct difference, since the spouse should not be getting alimony anyway. | /r/MensRights | 18/03/11 12:17 AM
Gotta love West Virginia, proposing a bill to forbid adulterous spouses from collecting alimony from a divorceIt only limits payments, not sexual behavior. | /r/MensRights | 17/03/11 03:19 AM
Gotta love West Virginia, proposing a bill to forbid adulterous spouses from collecting alimony from a divorceThe bill doesn't say that the spouse can't have sex, it says that they cannot get alimony if they do. You oppose alimony, so I do not know why you would object to it. It would limit alimony, which you oppose. | /r/MensRights | 17/03/11 12:01 AM
Gotta love West Virginia, proposing a bill to forbid adulterous spouses from collecting alimony from a divorceIt is barbaric to suggest that your spouse owns your future earnings after the marriage is over. | /r/MensRights | 16/03/11 11:55 PM

Female Confirmation from some of the female sedditorsWhen you are doing the "dominance" thing, you are being an asshole. That is what being an asshole is, asserting dominance over others, especially when it is merely as part of some sort of manipulative strategy. It indicates a lack of sexual confidence. You can be very confident without being an asshole. People who are actually confident are not interested and do not need to to try to treat others like puppets. | /r/seduction | 18/02/11 02:42 AM

Some Feminists Advocate that False Rape Accusers "Should Not Be Prosecuted"When I was in college in the 1980's, I used to talk to a lot of women. During my time there, five different women told me that they had been raped. All the incidents were described as date rapes. I asked a few questions and got them to tell the stories. Each of them was crying and very upset. After I heard the details of the first story, I started trying to get as much information as possible when other women told me about their rapes. I was as careful as I could be about not seeming to be doubt… | /r/MensRights | 29/01/11 11:12 PM

At which point, according to the AP account, the kids' grandmother, nearly punched our hero in the face, because she thought he was a kidnapperWe know what you meant. | 2 | "If a woman lies about getting raped, she should go to prison for as long as he would have if he actually did it." -- my sisterWhen I was a police officer, (in the 1980's in Atlanta) the standard practice was not to prosecute those cases for that reason. As far as I know that is still the case. And I have heard of dozens of cases of women recanting false accusations and I have never heard of any prosecution of a woman for that, so it may occasionally happen, but I am guessing that in almost every case, there are no legal consequences for the false accuser. I have not done any research on the issue. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/10 04:24 PM |
"If a woman lies about getting raped, she should go to prison for as long as he would have if he actually did it." -- my sisterOne reason why women are not prosecuted for falsely accusing men of rape is that it would discourage women from recanting false allegations that might have resulted in a wrongful conviction. | /r/MensRights | 18/12/10 02:57 AM
