men shouldn't have to be strong and it's okay to be fragile and feel vulnerable. That's perfectly fine as long as you mention how TERRIBLE it is to be a man and not express your emotions. Feminists love men that hate being men.

Fragile feminist ego is particularly a thing. Like how the fuck do you expect me to take you seriously talking about fragility when you get offended by 6 things while having breakfast? When the word "offended" itself isn't enough for you so you have to keep making up different buzzwords to describe the offense you take from things?

What I hate about this "toxic masculinity" thing is feminists didn't like the "box" men are allegedly raised to be in, so they made a new box, which is more damaging to boys and society in general. There's nothing wrong with stoicism, if you actually know how to keep your cool at times of turmoil, which is when stoicism is needed. There's nothing wrong with men being a little more emotional either if they aren't crying all the time. But feminists are teaching boys to become better men by crying …

I live in Chile and have seen this a lot. Also jobs asking especifically for women where the gender couldn't possibly be less relevant - like cashier at a bakery.

we have seen feminism do NOTHING positive for men Oh but it has! Men now are more free than ever to talk openly about their emotions! .... hmmm ok maybe not, feminists are mocking male emotions all over twitter as being whiny and childish and aggressive while claiming every emotion they have is completely justified because men. But, you know, men are free to complain about stoicism! That's good! They don't mock them for that! This will prevent male suicides! ... hmmm... thanks, I guess? But it's…

Thank you so fucking much. This is the sort of fact-based, rational, well-studied and well-thought commentary we need. Im too broke to spend money on imaginary reddit awards but you have my sincerest thanks and an upvote.

Sigh. I'll try to engage in a civil manner. It's not a competition of who has it worse, though some people want to make it into that. It's about pointing the double standards and the ways in which it affects people differently. For example, this notion that male rape is something that shouldn't be adressed or cared for atm plays a role into men not wanting to speak up about this. Women can admit to predatory behavior and it's not considered predatory because men are expected to be sexual all the…

"Relationships are ultimately distractions". Correct. And they distract themselves by talking shit about relationships and date culture all the time when they could actually live the lifestyle they are preaching about. That MGTOW blog I talked about, I liked because it spoke of the benefits that come with the lifestyle. Like an increased desire to get shit done, finding new hobbies, discovering talents you didn't know you had, etc. The guy actually went his own way and was giving tips. He did hi…

Yeah my point is the more time you spend sitting on your ass reading and talking shit about women the less time you're spending on yourself.

Some MGTOW forums can be very different from others. I find the MGTOW forums and blogs that focus on meditation, discipline, building skills, exploring creative hobbies, improving masturbation or trying to convert that sexual energy into sth else, etc. To be fairly positive in general. The ones that focus on actually living MGTOW. The MGTOW philosophy is fine. I've learned a lot of excellent tips from a MGTOW blog I found the other day. But there are some that are just sharing stories and whinin…

> There is nothing wrong with being an anti-feminist. Agreed. > since misandry is fine, then so is misogyny. Why are you anti-feminist then, if their misandrist views are fine?

Yeah agreed I want a Men's Rights Movement that can be rationally critical of the current state of feminism and gender relations without going all the way into that over the top, indefensible women-bashing of those terrible groups everyone hates; or the self-flagelating misandry of feminist male circles. I hate it when feminists feel entitled to wish death upon men and call us trash. I'm not a hypocritical shit so I won't support or make excuses for men who do the same.

MensLib truly is depressing. It just depresses me how good initiatives go to shit. "Men's mental health isn't adressed enough, let's do something about this". Excellent idea! "Let's just have men talk about how much they hate being men! Let's have them talk about how all they really want is to cry all day! Let's talk about how SCARY non-feminist men are! Men are so, so awful! Let's let women redefine masculinity by changing everything about us!". What the hell is this fuckery. It scares me. I wa…

The way media is staight-up PROMOTING obesity nowadays is terrifying. I just don't know what happened in society. Like at some point we were saying "don't be such an ass to the fat kid, that won't solve obesity" Ok, that's perfectly reasonable. "These sick-looking skinny models in magazines set bad standards for girls" Agreed. Nobody should aspire to have their bones sticking out of their skin. Now the message is to put *evidently* obese women on magazine covers and call it "the new beautiful, h…

Dude women are always talking about how the bar is "so low" for men, when men literally don't even have a bar for women besides some physical preferences they are not even that rigid about. "She must be not ugly and not a total bitch" , that's the bar most men have for women, and if the relationship already started she can become uglier and bitchier and the guy will just stay there anyway. Most guys out there have no idea what the fuck they want, they are just so desperate to have a girlfriend t…
