I made a decision that I would get a degree in a STEM field which turned into biology and a liberal field, which turned out to be english, because I wanted a,, I don't know, fuller education I guess. I wanted to learn on both sides because I wanted a more well rounded education. I feel like within the small comparison of my undergrad, I can speak on the difficulty of the two very different fields due to studying in both, but I wouldn't feel qualified to speak on any larger field of comparison. I do disagree for what it is worth with the first part. But if learning their language is easier in comparison to learning and using the one STEM requires, wouldn't that still lead to the conclusion that STEM is more difficult. I did social sciences, hell I have an english degree on top of my biology one. As a guy who graduated college with 2 degrees and nearly a third, I would say STEM majors are more difficult. The burden of knowledge as well as just the testing structure is more difficult. They push you through the extra undergrad in 3 years by giving you 18 credit summers.
