A lot of things tie to "credit history". You basically need credit history to qualify for things like home or car loans. You can set them to send you a text message when a transaction goes through, so if someone steals your card info you will know immediately and can call to cancel the transaction and get a new card with new number sent to you. Get one. Always pay it off. Set the auto notification. Get loans later at better rates.

It's pretty par for the course these days to enjoy your hobbies still. I think it has more to do with a shift in American culture, where more positions are just "jobs" versus "careers". I totally get how our parents and grandparents could dive deep into their careers, since it gave a profound sense of fulfillment and achievement. Yes, absolutely, she made it about her but that's not a problem at all. It's pretty normal for people to share their own eye opening experiences through TED X. What's important here is that her experiences made her understand that feminism is not without some flaws, when before she was a hardcore supporter of it. She went into the interviews with the mindset of "these men are my enemy", but learned through her experience that was just an undeserving bias.

I didn't include it but we also eat like 3x as my chest meat too. I mean, during WW 2 people had victory gardens for crying out loud. Ya....my SO complained about work even though I was putting in more hours, and had a longer commute. She'd be mad about me not doing half the chores even though she couldn't even have afforded to live where we were at, and spent less time working. Ya. The interesting thing is that it was going on for so long. There's not really a fantastic way to police hate speech or anything negative at all when you have an open forum like that. Whole communities develop right under your nose, and they're obfuscated by the obvious offenders who post nothing but hate speech. It's probable that an equal ratio of kick ass female gamers exist as male gamers, but the number of men is vastly larger in those gaming spaces. While I agree with you, they made minimum wage at part time hours. Working 40 hours, 52 weeks a year at 7.25 is just over 15K. They probably had a take-home of just 10K or so. Assume 20 dancers.
