men are not a monolith. Many care but they are ancillary things to a womans appearance and demure mannerisms

so basically another long way of saying that women contribute nothing. Got it

not only that but men are constantly ridiculed and rated by the amount they spend they equate a dollar amount with "effort"

Anything else substantial that we can find mutually beneficial? or is the job a girlfriend to be a living breathing sex puppet?

the problem with your "not all women" is that there is a large enough majority of a smaple size that we can say yes all women. not all birds fly buy we think of all birds as being able to fly.

but they dont. NO WOMAN DOES THIS without keeping a tally or holding it over their male partners head.

If you had to venture a guess what percentage of men feel the effects of their girlfriends who do even half of these things? In my personal experience I'd say less than 20%

why is it that women can never give a straight answer to this question

So you've said that there were plenty of reasonable responses and all you did was negate your own points. You can read my previous replies to other's responses. These are character qualities about YOU Often times the SAME qualities that women expect out of their partners. What do women do beyond that in a relationship to make it worth men to even consider that relationship in the first place?

what isn't tangible that contributes to helping advance a relationship? that isn't expected out of both partners.

Why are you elevating a vagina to have value that it shouldn't when men and women are "equal"

ive yet to see plenty of reasonable responses can you tell me a couple of the ones that you've read?

you are making this a financial thing which I never did. I am asking what do women bring to the table. There are many forms of effort and reciprocity. If you dont reciprocate in a relationship you are a parasite and just feeding off of someones good graces. Are you implying all women are parasites?

why is it rude only in one direction? Women ask each other and themselves what their boyfriends do for them all the time. With zero hesitation and no backlash or verbal insults.

its really not. Women ask each other and themselve what their boyfriends do for them all the time. With zero hesitation and no backlash or verbal insults.

if you could just stick to answering the original question and stay on topic i would appreciate it

Look at all the replies. this is a perfect example of deflection or topic avoidance. Nobody will answer directly but everyone will absolutely change the topic or ask why someone feels a certain way without as even the slightest attempt to answer the question at hand. Its very direct. A or B Men answer most of the time and don't give women a hard time about asking. (A) Women dont answer or give answers that are indirect or insufficient and ridicule men for asking (B)

I've read those past posts and more often than not the types of answers given by women were "Im clever or funny", "people tell me im cute", "im loyal" Loyalty is a given and just assumed in a monogamous relationship to go both ways thats a BASELINE requirement or a relationship to even exist. Men want to know what someone CAN or WILL do to ensure that the relationship doesnt feel one-sided and will have stability and longevity.

when women answer this the large majority of the time they state personal characteristics about themselves. ie. "i have a good job", "people have told me im cute", etc. Things that they expect out of their partners, but not something that they do to progress or improve the relationships. on the other hand men will list actions and tasks things that they have done historically or will do in the future to improve or advance a relationships. generalizing here of course but enough of a pattern that …

most subreddits if you do not have something absolutely glowingly positive to say you just get blasted with hate comments or downvotes Even if all youre doing is asking to think critically about a topic.

old habit from topics like this getting flagged as spam anywhere else on reddit. pretty much taboo to discuss or gets downvoted to obscurity in 95% of other subreddits

you have to remember also that a large silent majority of women hold homophobic opinions "youre not a REAL man if X, Y, Z" they're just not openly vocal about it

its because sex is often a taboo topic for certain circles IRL its talked about behind closed doors, behind peopes backs or online with anonymity.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
