"I hate the person I become when I'm single" That's your problem. How can you expect someone to like you if you don't like yourself?

I do to some degree. I have enough friends, I go places and I have fun. There's always room for improvement obviously, but compared to some I know I lead an interesting life. However, they can seem to talk to people for hours. Also, a lot here suggest she should do most the talking. It's confusing

Thanks for the advice. Will try to implement these as much as I can

Good point. Looking for a more long term fix than for the short term though

Actually used to bartend for 5 years and worked at a call centre for 4. Being in the UK though, I didn't rely on tips. Should've worked on it then tbh. My job now is more back room though

I'm sure it does. Alcohol does as well. However, I'm sure it's more than frowned upon at work

Yeah I try my best not to double text but have done it once with this girl. There was a reason for that I think though. If she doesn't respond otherwise, I wait for her to initiate again. Actually did end a conversation earlier as it felt like it was going nowhere again.

Totally agree with you about the three reasons of texting. Unfortunately I'm not the best at them. Of the three, I only need to really concentrate on the setting up logistics and the sexual escalation. The setting up a meet should be easier than I overthink it though. I din't have a mental picture of the interaction either. I'm just trying my best and hoping it moves forward.

Not a fan of texting either really, but some girls are. The one I'm currently speaking to initiates pretty much daily and it's nearly impossible to have a fun convo. Would much prefer to use it as a way of sorting out logistics. However, I don't really feel there's a good point to ask her out as most the convos go flat. But, looking at your point about emojis, I actually do use these as a way of showing emotion, so I might be flirting a little. Just seems to go flat and I over text. Looking at w…

Thanks. She has a pretty flirty light teasing character so should be ok on that part. I'm just unsure of what to say. Worried of going to far and offending her, or worse, coming across pretty boring. Which I think I currently am.

Yes, but when looking for jobs in the past, I've walked into businesses and spoke with them about any available positions. After that, I've gone online and applied for jobs. While this gives me more options, I know for a fact that the ones online are looking for someone. Just trying to make sure my Resume is up to scratch

Might not matter what you say to most then 😂. But I'm working towards those three things. Might be easier then.

Yeah not looking for long talks. Want to get them off Tinder asap after matching. I start playfully enough, but either steer away from the topic to small talk, or stay on thw topic too long. Will have a look at your links as well, thanks. Had Snapchat for a few years but hardly use it. Might have to change that.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
