It’s not to a gotcha. It is to precisely show that people should in fact be judged based on who they like. It’s absurd to think otherwise. As if liking a liar is no different than liking a honest person or a generous person no different than a greedy one.

Not a good rule. We shouldn’t shame someone for liking a nazi, racist, a sexist, or a murderer?

I think they are. The older I get, the more I love older women, even older than myself. They are truly womanly. Women 18-23 are still developing and are best for men in the same phase.

You are both right, lol Many of my female friends are like this. And they actually believe the guy wants to settle with them. If not, then they can win him over through sex. It’s incredible to see—the disconnect between what is in the mind of another and how things actually are. It’s happening now with a close friend, and I really hate to see it. But women don’t want the truth, and it’s her life.

Every single person, man, woman, boy, girl desires to be loved, and validation is a part of that. As long you are seeking validation from the right people, for the right reasons, don’t see anything wrong with that.

That’s fair, but beards and makeup are not the same since you cannot say the same thing about hair. Might as well say that about hair and head shape. On the other hand, makeup is deceptive. I’ve seen women, my sisters included, look different to nothing like themselves with makeup. And IG makes it even worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 10:59 PM
1

They are not. What you do to your hair, in terms of form, is completely within the bounds on presenting yourself as you are. Wearing makeup is a lie. You don’t really look like that. Women are not as beautiful in private as they show off in public. They even wear it in the gym because they are so insecure about how they look, always comparing themselves to other women, smh
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 10:47 PM

Might as well say muscles are a mask. Makeup is a mask, it is not natural. A mask is anything added to the body that is not natural.

You might as well argue the hair on your head is a mask, don't be silly

If a man wants his wife in shape, he needs to be with the babies all the time as well as when they are toddlers to teens so that she will not be exhausted. What does that mean? I'm active 16-18 hours everyday and I still work out. I'd expect the same. It seems to be a common excuse on here. It's not that hard to maintain your level fitness. I'm not asking she become more fit, but rather maintain it. 2-4 hours a week would be enough. That's 1-2% of her time.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 01:21 PM
1

I'm surprised so many like yourself justify women letting themselves go when life gets hard. I don't just go to the gym to stay fit--it is the foundation among other things that allow me to perform in life. My partner would never have to worry about giving up on my physical (or mental) health because things get hard. I believe in giving my best. And your comment fits into the reality I see of so many women giving up on their physical health when the man has committed.

Cooking and cleaning after different meals is time consuming. How? I spend 10 minutes cooking a steak or making burgers, and 1 minute to clean the skillet. It's not that hard.

their fidelity to each other shouldn't hinge on conditions such as appearance Why not? If beauty was the reason that attracted him in the beginning, why should anything change after he puts a ring on it? Many women let themsleves go

I don't have anything to prove, really, but I'm sure you will believe in what you believe in simply because you want it to be true, not because it is actually true. It is true that women are not as concerned with the external or highest goods beyond themselves, such as virtue, truth, immutable goods. They do not care to discuss philosophy, wisdom, or the search of truth itself. The life of a woman is nothing but pleasure--this is what women live for, after all. Not saying women are bad, just sta…

Destiny. Honor. Legacy. Lineage. These things are all true. If this were not true, you would not have been a direct result of the actions of your parents, your parents' parents, and so forth, and the decisions of others in their times. And honor is the code we all live by, one way or another
/r/PurplePillDebate05/02/23 03:05 AM

That very well may be true. As you implicitly admit, fatherhood is the gateway to a virtuous life.

I agree that men seem to have a stronger desire to propagate their genes and have offspring. They talk about “my legacy” “my seed” more than I’ve ever heard women talk about it. Men have an understanding of destiny. Women are not as concerned with the external or highest goods beyond themselves.

How can it be a prize if it can be lost or fades away or perishes or doesn't last forever? I could go on and try to see your pov, but I've done this 100s of times with atheists and nihilists. It always ends up as "I believe in this because it feels good" or "I made it up" If love was unimportant, than why even discuss it, even if that is your belief? If it love were not important, why is love the one thing that the human heart seeks the most? Even so, consolation, peace, and rest--all things whi…

I'd love to see an exposition on the different types of feminists, because there have been some feminists, like Louise Perry, who have me 90% convinced. Seems like there is an intersection of feminists who seek reformation rather than revolution. For example, how casual sex benefits men and is a net negative for women. Men suffer lesser consequence and gain greater benefits. Also, how overall, women now days have it better in terms of freedom, but they also have it worse in terms of responsibili…

Most don't sexualize women who are difficult to sexualize. The most extreme is a woman in a burka. Hard to sexualize even if men tried. A woman, when dressed modestly and covered where she ought to be, commands respect from men. And if they have basic moral sensibilities, he feels regret and guilt if he sexualizes her. Men don't look at modest women for sex, they go for the sloots
/r/PurplePillDebate25/01/23 05:42 AM

However her commodification is not an invitation for others to view the whole of her humanity through that lens. She doesn't have any control over that. Another absurdity of modernity. People wanting to control how other people perceive them. If you present yourself respectfully, you ought to be treated as such. If you present yourself as a thot, then that is how people will treat you.

People don't cheat because they have things going on--that's how cheaters and their apologists think. They cheat because they want to get laid with someone else. It's that simple. I date traditional, low body count women, so I won't to worry about that. High body count modernist women are the ones who love to cheat.

What would you say to a man who’s wife cheated on him and he filed for divorce? You would tell him he’s responsible for picking a horrible woman and that he’s not a victim essentially? You have zero empathy. Acting like bad partners aren't walking red flags everyone can see as clear as day. I know a woman who kept begging her bf to stay despite his constant cheating. Do you deep down see women as equals? Equal in what? Saying two different things are "equal" doesn't make sense. Do you think women and men can connect intellectually and that such a connection is the basis for a relationship? Yes to the first part, no to the second part. Most men, including myself do not bond on the intellectual level with women, in fact, this kind of bond seems to remove intimacy. Do you expect to do half of the work at home? why/why not? /r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 06:53 PM

Then they weren't interested in you. 3 of 4 of those women initiated things with me, and all 4 wanted to keep going. Of all those things you quoted me on, they demonstrated interest, but not to a degree that is "super into me". If I make out with a chick or if grinds on me, I don't read that as "super interested". They were simply "interested enough" OP claims those women were super into him
/r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 06:47 PM

"I could have any guy, but I chose you", It was not. As I stated in my post. They positioned themselves as special and important, and me as just "another one" OP claims those women were super into him Where did I claim that? /r/PurplePillDebate16/01/23 06:27 PM

Perhaps you can start my restating my claim. Because your question is addressing something you made up. How can I simultaneously claim fatherless women are disordered and at the same claim these men don't exist?

I agree. The bitter rhetoric against them on this sub is out of resentment. Personally, I know women in their 30s who are single. Good, and otherwise normal women. Very good women who I hope find someone. But there is a lot to discuss when it comes to women in their 20s. Resentment aside, if we take a single woman who is 29 and ask her what has she accomplished in the past 7-8 years since she was 22, what exactly would she say, do you think? I'd say there are female thinkers who are better than that. Enlighten us What's your evidence that men have a stronger grasp of truth, reason and logic? Or any natural primacy over women? Their works. Men dominate technical ventures. Give me the top 5 female writers in metaphysics.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/23 03:20 PM

They're no worse at it when they get there. Metaphysics isn't a "thought". And where is your evidence that women are discouraged? That's absurd. Women pursue womanly things. No woman thinks like Aristotle or Aquinas or Plato. Men, being the stronger sex, have a more excellent grasp of truth, reason, and logic. Fitting since men have natural primacy and preeminent privilege over all other types of animals, including women (which justifies the natural authority of men, even over the mental facilit…

if a man got nothing back, he would be a fool to provide I will provide no matter what. For the sake of my children. if people did things for no reason and no result, they would be fools and likely eliminated from the gene pool. I agree with everything, though it seems that range of thinking and feeling limits or opens up what men and women think about. This explains why there aren't many women in highly technical, logic intensive spaces, like metaphysics. You can read the philosophers and see a demonstrable difference in thinking. Only a man can really dive deep into Plato, Aristotle, Kant, and the like.

What do you mean by those things? Especially the no kids part? The marriage act is not complete until sex happens, so by definition it is not a marriage. Why would anyone feel pride over completing household duties? They're just chores, everyone has to do them. Why would anyone feel pride about doing something for someone they love? If you don't know the answer to that, then you don't know what love is. I made a bad ass chacuterie board for my mom and baked her a cake with my lil bro, it was just "making food", afterall. To you that's all that is, but to us, it was done for love.

One to note though is that studies show women being expected to overcompensate in household workload even when they themselves are the breadwinners is a big issue in divorce rates. This interests me a lot. When women talk about household workload, I struggle to see how this is enough to justify divorce. It seems so fragile and fleeting to divorce over this.
