I was going to make a move on the third date. After the second date we were talking and things were fine. She mentioned a third date herself. Then suddenly she lost interest one day. Her responses used to be cute, use emojis, etc, and then they got cold. So after she soft rejected me for two date requests, I said fuck it, and asked her out and said let's get ramen and watch a movie. I sent her an emoji that implied that the movie would be at my place. She said sure we can get ramen. Now on this …

Not a virgin anymore. I grew up an atheist but would occasionally attend church events and Bible studies. I have started to listen to Christian music recently and read the Bible and plan to attend a church event in Taiwan soon.

My first relationship was in college, and we were both virgins. Yes, it feels different, physically and emotionally. I'm struggling to recreate the (physical and emotional) feeling with a woman.

As a Christian, do you care about dating a virgin?

Agree. And part of it is due to how easy it is to communicate and travel to visit others. I'll give an example. When I owned my business, I was just a normal guy making low six figures yearly. I was able to get into personal contact with a couple different billionaires, either through talking to them at events I was invited to, or just cold emailing them. Now imagine that I was an attractive girl. Imagine the response I would get. That's the issue with dating nowadays. Girls will be in their ear…

Yup, thanks for the advice. I asked her out clearly and she left me on read. I got 15+ other people on the app who left me messages that I haven't got to yet, so I'll just focus on those. Not sure why everyone here is sugarcoating the situation so much, lol.

I asked her out next week. We'll see what she says. It's been three hours. Not holding my breath. Last week when I asked her out she said she wouldn't be in the area (which is fine), but then she didn't suggest an alternative time. To be clear I didn't really ask for suggestions btw. I asked 'are there any bars you want to try next week in our area?'.

OK. But she enjoyed the badminton. Afterwards she said 'let's get food'.

I'm thinking of badminton again. I like sports because even if the date doesn't go well, people can still enjoy it. So something like 'hey I reserved some space at the gym we went to last time for 9 PM Wednesday if you want to join'. My issue with leading is that it makes it so that people can say like 'no I'm not free that time'. And yeah most of the time they just don't like you that much, but there is a very slight possibility that they actually can't make that time / don't enjoy that type of…

OK. BTW this was how our first date was set up. Me: 'When you are back in [city] do you want to get food?' Her: 'OK, I will be back on Jan 2' 'After you get off work or on the weekend. I live near abc' Her: 'We could meet on January 4th at 8 PM'. 'Sure where do you want to meet?' Her: 'Let me think about it. Will let you know when I have an idea. Is there anything you don't eat?' 'No, I'm fine with anything' Her: 'OK, let's meet here tomorrow'

Yeah, seems like she just met someone else and I'm sorta on the backburner.

Last week after we added each other on IG, I said 'what do you want to do this weekend? You know places in this area better than I do :)'. And she said 'I'm going back to my parents house this weekend etc etc etc'. So I've had two soft rejects so far. Wondering what I should respond to her, do you have any suggestions? For some additional context, she has studied abroad for a while in Europe, so she is familiar with that culture as well and speaks German.

How would you suggest I ask her out again? For some more context on our first date we went to a restaurant and then after got bubble tea. Second date, we met at a gym, played badminton, and then got lunch. I'm thinking of inviting her to gym again? But then it also leaves it open to a 'I can't make that time' and not getting a clear answer. BTW, there is a language barrier. I am an elementary Japanese speaker which she is fluent in, and she is an intermediate English speaker. How do you think I …

Maybe... but ideally you would want her to respond with an alternative like 'tbh I'm not a huge fan of drinking, but how bout a restaurant?'. Or 'I liked how we played badminton last time, are you going to play again this week?'.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
