No, I didn’t. It isn’t some brilliant insight, there’s a dozen best sellers saying the same thing. I read it twice. I’ve heard it a thousand times. It’s immature.

Nah, I read it twice actually and came to the same conclusion about what’s being said. It isn’t some brand new concept, I’ve read the same opinion dozens of times.

Thanks. I do. And actually, this post kind of did help me realize that I have probably taken as much from this culture as I can. It was a road I needed to take, but not one I need to continue on. So thanks for that too. Enjoy your life as well.

Just because I think you’re wrong doesn’t mean I missed the point.

If you are basing your friendships off of how well they help you get laid, you have a very serious problem that women can’t solve for you. This post is extremely cringy, even from this subreddit.

2 things. First, playing poker seriously taught me how to read people and project a confident image even when I didn't really feel it on the inside. Both pretty important social skills. Second, when I quit smoking I picked up yoyoing as something to do with my hands. It's pretty hit or miss as far as being attractive to women (I find women in their thirties+ are surprisingly much more receptive, and girls who are into festivals and edm, hippies, or nerdy video game playing type girls will basica…

Nah. Fuck that. You did the right thing. Go for it every time. You'll be cringing until the next one.

I've successfully f-closed after 5+ rejections. You just have to go for it at the right time and take the rejections like an adult. Treat "no" as "not right now." Respect it, try again when you feel the dynamic may have changed.

The answer to your question is more complicated than "we're right, they're wrong," but anyone who says to give up after being declined one time is just wrong.

Strange is another word for vagina. Specifically, a new vagina. As in, the vagina of a stranger.

Several species, mostly insects and arachnids show the same types of competition between females..

Well if you just make up your own meaning for things.... Hahahahaha https://www.reddit.com/r/seduction/comments/3onnxp/can_we_please_discuss_how_it_has_come_to_be_that/cw1d352 If that doesn't help you understand, nothing will. Quit being stubborn.

So... When you talk about competition for mating, what you mean is having a good job and a nice car? Like zero other mammals ever?? Listen. All mammals (or close to it) compete for females. That's the point that the dude was trying to make. You got snippy and tried to bring lions into it because you misunderstand the depths of their matriarchy. Just fucking suck it up and admit you were wrong or don't and stop talking.

I would love to hear the definition of competition where killing other males doesn't fit... This talks about males forming groups to compete against other groups for access to females. http://www.nature.com/nature/journal/v296/n5859/abs/296740a0.html

Males still "compete" for females. Maybe before you get all snippy with your answers you should be a little knowledgeable about the subject. Male lions kill the younger males in a pride to take it over. That's pretty intense competition.

Practice. How often to you approach women you don't know and try to spark up a conversation?

In my experience, how you handle it makes a big difference. Also, depends on how you were rejected. If some girl is just a straight bitch to you for no real reason, and you take it as cool as the motherfucker you are, she will appreciate that. Call the girl a dyke and a cunt, and she's not gonna give you the time of day.

Why would a guy need to use an "opener" if the girl actually likes him for who he is? She doesn't know him yet and hasn't formed an opinion.

You: "Do you think I'm cute/pretty/attractive?" Him: "Yes" (or possibly no, but then you have your answer right there) You: (with a smile) "So when were you gonna ask me out?"

Something I have had positive results with.. funny or interesting "would you rather?" or "if you were stuck on a deserted island" type questions. The key is to be original. Don't just ask her, "What's your favorite band?" or some kind of lazy thing like that. I have one that just KILLS, but I try to use it sparingly and I'm not putting it on here. Try to make it contextual to her. Most recently I asked a girl with many tattoos which one she would keep if she had to get rid of all of them. This l…

One time me and a friend were sitting in a fairly crowded bar doing a crossword puzzle. A lot of women approached us, and it made a nice topic of conversation. The best part about it is that they are instantly trying to impress you by figuring out all the answers, so it sets up a nice dynamic.

So the only way to change is to ditch everyone you know. And once you're changed, there's still no going back - they'll never truly accept a better you. I think that's a pretty extreme suggestion. Just because they are resistant to your changing doesn't mean you can't change anyway. If they don't accept the way you have chosen to improve yourself, then fuck them, cut them out of your life. Many people, though, can be resistant to change but fully accept it once it happens.

I was like: Those are things that the victim controls. And you were like: Yes they are But then somehow you did this: They have no control over the situation.

I think it's because rape is such an emotional and deeply personal experience that women are rightfully sensitive about. Any time a person (male or female) is extremely sensitive about a subject they become defensive if someone or something threatens their existing world view.
/r/MensRights10/06/11 02:56 PM

Well, yes. Before you get all defensive think about what is being said. Fighting back and screaming often deter rapists who are looking for an easy target. Those are things that the victim controls.

I've never heard a pro-choicer use an argument for their position that wasn't about their own rights as an individual. I'm not saying the argument doesn't exist, but I've never heard it. However it seems like you are suggesting that only a flawed character might approach the issue from a different perspective than your own I'm saying only a f…

I wouldn't say that women are winning in reproductive rights. In fact, reproductive rights are continually being limited. Where is this? Last I heard Rowe v Wade was in full effect. I haven't heard of any law being passed limiting abortions. According to this map (I know, I know, it's Wikipedia.) there's only one country in the world where it is expressly illegal. The vast majority of women are guaranteed the right to abortion on request. I don't see how men have any reproductive rights at all. …
