…she’s there for the drama and, whether she’s there or not she will get it anyway ie from your somewhat weak friend !! Dump the 2 of them and say can’t make it and then maybe speak with another friend or better yet, a counsellor for objective advice 👍🏼👍🏼

As I said, best you pay money to join, decent money so as to cut out the idiots ! I’d easy pay a 100 a month to go on one decent date than 20 a month to meet 20 deadbeats ! Pay to play brother ! Spend some money to get the best chances … I don’t know any in your area, I’m in Ireland and I don’t have a dating pool, just a puddle it’s so slack here my friend lol - I’d rather quality over quantity tho and you might b the same 👍🏼 - all that said, I’ve decided to be single a few months and work on my…

Don’t beat yourself up - when there are children involved we all put up with bad behaviour but, most times, you get no thanks for it - key point here is never take (or give) that crap again .. and move on - I’m embarrassed about how long it took me tbh but, as the Chinese say, the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago, and the second best time is now … 🌲

The water stunt would have been enough for me - I stopped reading there when I realised you sucked that one up - never let anyone disrespect you like that - ever - you’re better off without her - don’t look back 👍🏼

Ya, seen it a lot - Never marry down - you RARELY see a woman do it ! They are too clever 😁😂 - marry the same, or UP, but not too far up, as otherwise she’s marrying down lol 😂 - personally I’m into same levels, give or take a bit of course ..

Finding someone similar to you will solve a lot - my ex actually said to me that one reason she liked me was because we had similar “stuff”, meaning, wealth - she was right - we each walked away with our own “stuff” and respected our /each others financial well being - stick with your own type and don’t marry down is a good mantra for many things 👍🏼 Best of Luck 🤞

It’s how it works - make a deal - the thing is that in uk /Ireland if you put a good deal on the table and they don’t take it, they run the real risk ending up paying your costs if it proceeds onwards to court - the courts look at it as an abuse of process and see that other party in a very unfavourable light - a good lawyer will make hay with then and show the court how reasonable the other party had been - it’s a sound tactic to add pressure to END it - good lawyers want to do a good job and e…

Ya, but she’s the problem, not the lawyer ! Look, take all the pain and history and ego out of it and cut a deal - what does she really want ? Can you meet her half way there on it ? Maybe a little more ? THATS how it stops !

Go ahead then … see how it goes ! Can’t b hard can it ?! Those lawyers eh, all their fault that 2 people ( they don’t know) can’t talk to each other ! All thejr fault what their “banter back and forth” - go ahead, go banter back and forth and see how you enjoy it 😁

Why provoke her ? My ex is still on 4 years later - I mean her no harm - I leave her in and it helps my relationship with her, and hence my cold - unless you mean harm (of course), don’t do harm, cos chances are she’ll reciprocate anyways - if u can afford it just wait it out a while .. my 2 cents

Everyone so negative here - I did it and Co parent and we are great friends still - no lawyers, just common sense and compromise- it can work but you gotta work at being flexible and no blame games - you’re doing it for the kids - be fair with the money - best of luck

I must be the slowest moving person on the planet - split 5 years ago, my choice but I still haven’t fully let go - some people get remarried and have a whole new family in that time !!! As for you - don’t rush back - it will prob end the same way as the same problems will b there - as you’ve seen, people don’t change and your child will b dragged thru it all again - best of luck

45 miles ? That’s just an hour drive away and most things can b done via zoom anyways - any new person will have to get to to Speed and that costs time and money and no guarantee you’ll like them and that they will be as good - suggest you discuss it with your incumbent solicitor ..

Its called being an adult and thinking of his soon to b ex and their son - once they are happy, he’s happier - no need for bitterness and solicitors - at worst, the collaborative law process can assist if need outside help.
