Realizing that at 24 is honestly extremely rare lol. Shows how far we've come as a culture though.

Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its wa…

Thank you as well; you definitely gave me a lot of moments where I had to stop and rethink what I just said. Gatto himself goes through something like 10-20 drafts before he publishes anything, and his final conclusion is almost always something different than what he started out believing. In the words of physicist Niels Bohr, "How wonderful that we have met with a paradox. Now we have some hope of making progress."

The main contention that Gatto has with the Prussian model is that it was designed to cultivate a conditioned, positive response to authority. This was due to the theory that the Prussian soldiers disobeyed authority because of "Imagination" running wild on the battlefield. If what you want is an army of obedient soldiers, the Prussian model works relatively well. The downside of such a system is that you get an army of blindly obedient soldiers who have sacrificed their sense of personal respon…

That's a great point that I didn't consider. Now that I think of it, I suppose that the educational system wasn't designed to select for intelligence, but rather conformity. So, intelligent individuals retreating into solitude doesn't necessarily disprove this theory. That would fit in with the larger theory of the system only accepting individuals who are as George Carlin put it, "Smart enough to run the machine, but dumb enough to not question WHY to run the machine." Women select mates in thi…

It seems that mostly, these problems are nothing new. When I was younger, I took much harder, principled stances on various issues. For example, I believed that: "Theft is wrong, taxation is theft, therefore taxation is wrong." But, this ignores the fact that every state throughout human history has involved some form of taxation. I eventually realized that perhaps taxation is a necessary evil, which horrified me initially. The whole concept of a "Necessary evil" seemed much too depressing to me…

Do you really want to stay working at such a place? The female collective would find another reason to fire them a few months later, and you can bet your bottom dollar that those men wouldn't be promoted. They'd be given the worst projects and actively sabotaged.

Exactly. You can't have a free market when your money is monopoly money, easily printed to prop up politically convenient sectors of the economy. Monetary crack.

About 30% of the companies in the S&P 500 are like this: namely that they are zombie companies only existing because they take out debt to pay bankroll. This forces the "Federal" Reserve to repress interest rates to keep debt cheap. If they raise interest rates, the S&P 500 would drop like a dead weight which might cause a stock market panic in which everyone frantically sells. But women in the workforce was a good idea. Right.

Feminism is incompatible with the Prussian method of schooling. I would contend that Feminism today is taught in public schools through the use of the Prussian method of schooling. What is school today but forcing high energy young boys to sit and accept indoctrination that "White man bad, woman good." If boys don't "Sit still" and act like compliant girls, they are drugged with amphetamines right before they are preached at to "Just say no to drugs" via the D.A.R.E. program and the like. It's a…

I didn't cut and paste, I wrote it out manually because I thought it highly relevant to our current predicament in the West, which simply put, is a broken game. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems your beef with the above summary of modern education is that the American system is the best because it has historically produced the most inventors and the best soldiers. Also, you assumed that a criticism of the education system is a criticism of the larger American culture. Yes, America has histor…

The doodle itself is insignificant, yes, but it is indicative of the larger culture which hates men. Society and women keep demanding that if a project is successful, men ought give the credit to women. But, if the project fails, men must take the blame. The tacit understanding is that men who play along with such a system slowly build up "Good boy points," which blue-pill men assume are redeemable in the future for respect from society, sex, etc. Eventually, men realize that it was a scam all a…

I thought it was common knowledge that most of the publishers were Feminist run. Creative authors these days normally go the self publishing route to bypass this sort of shit, but even then someone can flag your e-book on Amazon and get it deleted. I remember about a month ago someone posted here saying they just self published their own MGTOW related book on Amazon, and it was flagged and deleted so quick. He self published it on an alternative platform that I can't remember right now.

It's hard to calculate exactly, but men earned even more than double because everything is more expensive. Some napkin math: New houses are about $325,000 compared with about $25,000 in 1963. (13x more expensive). College is about 5x more expensive now than it was in 1963. These are the two main costs, but wages have stayed about the same. The only things that have gotten cheaper have been technology related items.

There are places in Arizona where you can live completely rent free. There's an RV park where you can get access to bathrooms and WiFi for an entire year for $250. You can camp in many National Parks in the US for free, given that you change location every 2 weeks. In New Mexico, for instance, you can buy a park pass for an entire year for something like $300, which gives you access to all the bathrooms and showers. The reason why most people don't choose to do this is because it's in the desert…

It is and it isn't. Just don't make yourself a target for no reason. If you do battle with fools, you essentially have to lower yourself to their level. Logic doesn't work with them, and even if you do "Win" the argument, they will hate you for it. And many women, especially the women of today, will want revenge for being publicly humiliated and defiling the sacred Feminist cow.

FYI, hybristophilia is not necessarily wrong. MGTOW don't really even use the term in a derogatory manner. The only women that have bred successfully throughout the ages have been women who paired with violent men (for obvious reasons). If women were attracted to weak men, that would obviously be a problem as the species would just progressively become more and more cucked. This is why women employ a dual mating strategy: they have children with an alpha, and then cuck a beta.

His book, "Weapons of Mass Instruction" is another great one. The ancient Romans didn't fuck around with adultery: Divorce was difficult and rare in marriages by confarreatio; marriages cum manu could be dissolved only by the husband; in marriage sine manu divorce was open to either party at will, without asking consent of the state. Is it really the so called, "Elites" who rule this world? I've dived into pretty much every conspiracy theory known to man, but I eventually come around to admitting that the population is tacitly complicit with whatever system is thrust upon them. I always wonder if it's possible to truly break this cycle. I used to theorize how to "Save Western Civilization," but when I really understood the historical cycle, I realized the futility of this. I was essentially trying to stop the seasons from moving forward. Or trying to stop the sun from rising and setting. Eventually I gave up and suddenly, I thought how amazing it is that we're here at all! Isn't it odd that after so many thousands and thousands of years, humanity still doesn't know for…

Stuff like this should be taught in schools. Quotes like these completely sidestep the entire narrative that women have always been historically oppressed. Instead, female empowerment is like the ebb and flow of the tide: history is very much a circle. Yea I wasn't expecting much. As for the people saying religion is all stupid, I can't really blame them that much. Well the alternative is having the children be property of the government, and seeing how well children are taken care of in the whole Foster system, you might want to think twice about this. Children ought to be the property of the father, not in the sense that he can do whatever he likes with them, but in the sense that it ought to be he and he alone that has the final say in their upbringing. In my experience, it used to be a point of contention whether Christians should celebrate Halloween or not, the argument being that it was a Pagan holiday. The more I looked into it, I realized that Christmas originated as a Pagan holiday as well. The whole archetype of the "Warrior monk" is completely lost in our Western culture. "It's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war" is a saying that comes to mind. The opposites of war and peace are realized in a beautiful harmony in such a man. I've thought to myself if perhaps we need more literal monasteries in the West where men can go to meditate and be at peace. Some monks have discovered incredibly useful things in their hermitages. Depends on how you define MGTOW. If you define it as not marrying, then Jesus was MGTOW. (Yes, yes I know. The Church is metaphorically Christ's bride). If instead, you define MGTOW as ignoring religious doctrine and doing your own thing, then I would still say that Jesus was still MGTOW because he started a whole new set of religious doctrines (i.e. he did his own thing). This has caused me to think: Men's Rights Activists aren't fighting for their rights, they're fighting to able to sell their rights in exchange for sex just without the negative, inevitable consequences of that transaction (i.e. divorce rape, loss of custody of their children, losing the house, etc).

That's a big lesson that I learned, namely of "Letting go." Not clinging to anything. When I truly let go of my attachments while meditating, I started getting flashes of images in my brain. Things that I wasn't trying to consciously think of just popped into my head. If I remained calm, then I would start dreaming while I was in this meditative state. It's not stupidity. It's calculated. Women can be entirely irrational when it comes to politics, religion, or anything else. But when it comes to destroying and subjugating a man . . . women are entirely capable of the most RUTHLESS logical thought and planning to get that accomplished. I've heard it said that men are rational about all things except women, and women are irrational about all things except men.

This is something that conservatives, especially the older types, don't understand until it happens to them personally. Namely, the problem is not that men need to "man up," it's that the game itself is broken. It's easy for these people to understand why companies go out of business if taxes go up too high. They may even relish in this situation saying, "Someday the government's going to raise taxes too much, and then people will just stop working. That'll show 'em." What's happening with men i…

The main reason why I mentioned Islam is because every single civilization has had an overarching myth that defined it and invigorated the people with an awe of transcendent purpose. In the West, this was historically Christianity. I don't agree with how barbaric certain aspects of Islam are, but they are out-breeding the West, and I wanted to address the root cause of this (which I believe is their ability to tell women NO).

In theory, yes, but particularly in Protestant circles (Baptist, Assembly of God, Calvinist, etc.), most of the men are simply cuckolds. I don't mean that simply in the derogatory sense, I mean that quite literally. In the sense of men actually getting married to single mothers who had children via convicted criminals. Most Christian men never tell their women NO. Heck, there are even women pastors now LOL. It's embarrassing.

I should have been more clear: I wasn't hating on Islam. In fact, I was praising a certain aspect of it, namely their ability to tell women NO. (And yes, I know Islam is not a race and that there are white Muslims). Here's the video that I should have linked in the main post. https://invidio.us/watch?v=OEs-17RxWvo

That's another thing you reminded me of . . . namely that in cultures that enforce monogamy (read: men have authority over their families), violent crime, especially between males, is reduced dramatically. It makes perfect sense: We can either play the civilization game where men compete for pretty girls via increasing their social status and wealth, or we can play the barbarian game where men compete for girls by punching and killing each other.

Unfortunately, the military seems to attract and amplify simps rather than cure them. You get more money if you're married in the military, which then results in the woman divorcing you -> corrupt court system (the military helps the ex wife divorce rape the male soldier even harder) -> you're now a debt slave while you're still in the military. So, the military knows you're their bitch.

Online - Use the "Brave" browser with TOR enabled to increase privacy. Think of it as a free VPN that's more secure as it hides your IP address from everyone. VPNs can still log your IP and they may be forced by the Government to give them over. Many VPNs, especially "free" VPNs, are likely run by various Governments directly. Don't worry, they promise they're not logging your IP! (They are). Also don't login as your real self on any website while using TOR as that defeats the purpose. Operating…

There are always people who decide not to participate in society, such as monks and hermits. But, when men are leaving society in large numbers, this is something else entirely. It signals a civilizational decline. People only start to notice men leaving after the related tax revenue decreases. This has happened before, and it will happen to the civilizations that come after us.

If you want to understand what happens to society after MGTOW, just look at Rome. I posted a bit higher up in this thread about the historian Will Durant. A MGTOW-like movement went mainstream in Rome when it was collapsing. In fact, men became literal monks to avoid women and the ever increasing taxes. Here's a snippet from historian Will Durant in his paper, "Why Rome Fell": "Sexual excesses may have reduced human fertility; the avoidance or deferment of marriage had a like effect, and the making of eunuchs increased as Oriental customs flowed into the West. ...the ablest men married latest, bred least, and died soonest.... The dangers incident …

It seems there has to be a concerted effort among men to enforce monogamy. No amount of "game" or pickup artistry can override the fact that women can just explode marriages at will. In Islam, they just simply ban women from divorcing. Period. Because if you let women divorce, then they just marry -> divorce -> marry -> divorce and just rake in the money.

Politicians will just import a bunch of sex starved men from other countries to make up the difference. When the Roman men abandoned marriage, many of them literally becoming monks or farmers, the native population got so low that Rome allowed mass immigration of Germanic barbarians (that's us!). It got so bad that Marcus Aurelius enrolled slaves, gladiators, policemen, and criminals to replenish his army. Got to keep the civilization game going!
