I've got asthma too. I just keep my inhaler on me, and run on a treadmill if the weather is bad. Cold/damp air is what sets mine off.

Take up running. Seriously. Weight lifting boosts testosterone (and therefore sex drive). I recently stopped weight lifting and took up a lot of running. I have a charity run coming up and I have a bet going that I can get under a certain time. So I took a break from the weights and upped my cardio to about 40 or so miles per week. Sex drive dropped quite dramatically. I can go a week without even thinking about it now.

"Also, is there any precedent for MGTOW to agree with a woman to raise a child together, completely sharing the responsibility, 50-50 split of time with the child?" Good luck not having that classed as "common law marriage" by some feminist judge when she sues your ass for sole custody + child support.

Mgtow by its nature is not really an end goal, but a starting point. Its men, going their own way. It says nothing about what the destination is and indeed it would probably vary wildly between individual men. My own way is going to be completely different from yours, and that's fine. You are going your own way, what comes next is up to you. If mgtow has any actual goal it is base survival. That's really what mgtow is at its core a strategy for survival in an insane world. But its not enough to …

I wonder if it is an absence of fathers. This does have an epigenetic influence on child development. Boys end up looking like weak milksop beta cucks and the girls end up aggressive misandric land whales. Just the presence of a father influences physical development and the absence of a father results in children developing with less pronounced masculine or feminine features. I wonder if transgender, genderqueer, queercurious, transbiqueer or whatever the fuck else they call themselves is just …

I think the whole "transgender" thing is a perfect distillation of what I consider to be the core underlying theme, or perhaps "pathology" would be more accurate, of the political left. It comes up in this, in political correctness, in Marxism and in fiction (it's the key feature of Ingsoc in 1984) which is solipsism. The denial of objective reality. I'm male and you can cut my balls off (please don't), put a dress on me, smack my ass and call me "Sally" I'm still as much a male as I always was …

Its well known that "the rape fantasy" is possibly the no.1 sexual fantasy amongst women. The tall, dark and handsome stranger just takes her and ravishes her against her will, but of course she's loving it. The problem with women, and for women, is that their desires are paradoxical. They crave excitement, and security. They want a man who is dependable, but they want a man who is just a little bit dangerous. These are mutually exclusive one is the abdication of the other. I think "rape culture…

I'm 32 and I've got a 26 year old foreign girlfriend. You can be a mgtow and still date. The point is its on your terms. My girlfriend and I are actually fairly long term and pretty steady, but she knows the deal. We're exclusive (I don't sleep around), but I'll never marry her, we'll never have kids, we'll never move in together, and she knows she's expendable. If she pulls any shit, she'll get dropped like a hot rock. "Living apart together" is probably the closest you can get to being married…

Notice he actually directly quotes TFM's cogent reasoning only to breeze right past it and then say women are the victims. I've been a big fan of TFM for a while, and I've never heard him say anything about hating women. His attitude is more one of just not having the patience for them.

I think they hate it because sex is a submissive act on the part of the female. I don't mean the coy ritual of playing hard to get before giving in I mean physically the mechanics of what has to go where. She has to let the man inside her body, which is an act of submission, and that really sticks in their craw. Half hate the act itself, half hate themselves for wanting it.

Step 1: go to the vet. You don't want an unexpected pregnancy because she "forgot" to take her pill. Step 2: don't put up with her bullshit. Women want a leader, so lead. She knows she can pull the divorce trigger at any moment but if you can stare her down, stand up for yourself, in spite all that she could do to you, she'll suck your dick like its got the air supply. It might not make you happy, but it might make the next 15 years bearable.

I don't hate women any more than I would hate a shark for biting me. Its a fuckin' shark, what else was it going to do? Women will do what it is in their nature to do. The distinction of western women v other women is a meaningless one. Western women are not "raised" that way, they simply have the opportunity to be that way. There are cultures in the world where they are forced to reign it in, but, given the freedom to do so, they will show their true colours. Its always there, its just not alwa…

I don't. I consider the NAWALT to be like "vegetarian lion"; its physiologically impossible. Allow me to explain. All women are like that, because this behaviour (hypergamy etc) is a function of how our species physically reproduces. All women reproduce in the same way i.e. there are no women that lay eggs or something. If there was they would not be human, hell they wouldn't even be placental mammals. All lions have sharp teeth and claws, and therefore they eat meat. Which means they all the be…

If you read your own source it stresses that women who want a family really should start before 35. With modern science women could probably be fertile at 50 but that's not how this works. What men instinctively find attractive does not take into account IVF. A woman in her late 30's can still get casual sex, but she might not be able to get anything more than that.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/05/16 09:58 AM

Of course the wall is involuntary, its called "ageing". It happens to us all. Women certainly can and do have casual sex passed the age of 30, but "the wall" is not about casual sex. At its core what "the wall" is is the beginning of the end of her fertile years. A woman may be able to preserve her looks well past 30 or even 40 with good genetics and good lifestyle choices, but her ovaries are ageing like milk left in the sun. Past 30 the quality of the eggs begins to decline and after 40 it goe…

Women start out with everything, that's their downfall. They get to 15 grow a pair of tits and suddenly everything is handed to them. They don't learn patience, or discipline, or realise that they are a depreciating asset until it's too late. We are an appreciating asset as we go through life we acquire resources and the wisdom of advancing years. In the end nature has given us the better deal. 12, maybe 15 years. That's their window. It's not a lot of time when we're living to be 80 or 90.

Funny I have that exact same dream. I was in Iceland recently, beautiful country, and once you get outside of Reykjavik (which has about 1/3rd of the entire population of the country) it gets really sparsely populated. I was hiking out in the middle of nowhere it really felt like being on another planet, or in some ancient long gone ice age. That's what I say when people accuse mgtow of being the male equivalent of feminism. Feminism is an imposition (or occasionally an inquisition). The more radical feminism becomes, the more insane it becomes the more it demands of society. The crazier it gets, the more it wants. Men going their own way, the clue is in the name. The more "radical" a mgtow becomes, the less he's going to bother you.

It is a question I have asked many times (rhetorically more than anything) what is the difference, functionally, between hypergamy and sociopathy? They have very different root causes but in terms of how they manifest as observable behaviour in individuals, is there any difference at all?

How is this pseudoscience and biased views of RP'ers? Its basic population genetics. Take a desert island with 100 women and 1 very happy man. Now take an identical island with 1 exhausted woman and 100 sexually frustrated men. Which one is going to die out pretty soon? That's basic natural selection when it comes to reproduction women are more valuable than men because women are the bottleneck. Its not difficult. "Yes, but what if there are different types of women and different types of men and they all use different mating strategies?" But fundamentally they are not, for the simple reason that it always comes back to the mechanics of how we as mammals actually physically procreate. There are superficial variations but they cannot be fundamentally different because they all must do the same thing in the end. To use a crude example take "alphas" and "betas" (not terms I am a fan of they are not scientifi…

Well sure I would accept that all men can be like that, or all humans can be like that. Any group would share characteristics by definition. I think we could characterise TRP as "awareness of female behaviour; how it relates to us men". There is a fundamental mismatch between the sexes. When it comes to reproduction, males have the best interests of the female at heart, because females are the ones that actually give birth. When it comes to reproduction, the female has her own best interests at …

Yeah you might have went too far in your simplification because you have stripped out all of the actual argument (keeping in my that, agree with it or not, I have made an actual argument) and reduced it to a single statement which is that "it's wrong".

Not a rebuttal. Saying TRP is often incorrect about stuff is not an argument it doesn't address anything I said. All you are doing is implying that my argument is incorrect by extension as it is a RP idea. Again, does not rebut my argument. If anything I was speaking in very general terms my argument is that all women would share certain behaviour patterns because these would be directly related to reproduction itself. Red Pill Theory does really say what a man should do. Really all RPT is is the unvarnished truth regarding the reality of your options. Let me give you an example from the animal kingdom so no humans involved lets take human society out of it. Lets take elephant seals. I would actually agree with that as a characterisation of an evangelical Christian neo-con. Feminism, progressivism, pc culture, liberalism, all of these things can actually be classified as the same thing; cultural Marxism. Marxism is about tearing down the strong, so the weak don't feel bad. Its about reducing everyone to the lowest common denominator so in the long run, everyone suffers. Is their a goal of mgtow? I don't think so. It is a very individualistic movement by its very nature its based on self actualisation. I don't think there's any consensus among men about what should be the long term goal for men as a group, we haven't thought that far ahead yet. We did shape the world; we shaped it into a world safe for women, and then once that was done the women told us to gtfo (but also give them all of our money) because we are patriarchal oppressors who perpetuate rape culture and owe all women an apology for being born with a penis. We shaped the world, and once we were finished they tossed us aside. Fine, let them have it. We can survive what is coming, they cannot. That's the great secret they need us more than we need them.

Mgtow is a response to an environment that has been hopelessly poisoned beyond repair. It is not a response to a dwindling number of relationship ready females, they are a dime a dozen. Put simply, mgtow is self preservation. I don't see it as inferior at all I think the masculine and the feminine go hand in hand. I think feminists see it as inferior. The whole concept of "hypergamy" is, by its very nature, a mildly sociopathic concept. A sociopath has no empathy they use people as means to ends with no regard for the people themselves. Replace "people" with "men" specifically, and you have the definition of "hypergamy".

Well the data says it is not. Children under 5 who spend 20+ hours a week in daycare actually experience parental abandonment syndrome. This produces a lot of stress hormones such as cortisol which actually retards brain development. So your kid is not only quite literally losing IQ points they are also going to be at greater risk of depression and drug addiction when they grow up.

How would you raise it? You still have to work, and children who spend more than 20 hours a week in daycare experience hormonal changes associated with parental abandonment. Statistically single motherhood is the number one cause of a whole host of behavioural problems, not only in childhood but well into adulthood (violent behaviour, drug addiction, being in prison etc). Single father households are for obvious reasons data deficient, but the little data we do have doesn't suggest children do any better there either. Maybe with more data it will turn out children from single father households do fine, but as it stands it that doesn't appear to be the case, and what…

I thought sometimes what it would be like to be a dad, however I think this is a sacrifice mgtow must accept. I do think marriage is necessary for the emotional well being of our children. We don't need a wife, but children do need a father and a mother in order to turn out emotionally well adjusted. Statistically children of single parent households just do not do well. Remember women are used to male attention, and some of those guys might be Chad Thundercock too.

You said yourself you are at school, so you are just at that age. Once you get to my age (mid 30's), you find yourself needing it less. Going 5 days? I could do that without even realising it. When I was 16, more like 5 times a day. Men do hit a kind of wall, although not like women do. Women hit the wall and age like milk left in the sun. Men reach that age and what you get is clarity. Your sex drive dies down precisely because you are not 16 any more. You still like sex as much as the next guy…

The reason she is so tolerant of gay, lesbian, transgenders, asexual, bisexual, women and weak men but not of strong men is because a strong man is, potentially, a sexual threat. Feminists are borderlines they live in a world of phantom threats.

100% agree. I believe that, fundamentally, the goals of each gender are irreconcilable. The female wants an alpha male, because she wants good genes for her offspring. Now this is fine there's nothing wrong with wanting your offspring to have a good genetic head start. Indeed this dynamic works in harem species such as elephant seals (1 male maintains exclusive control over a harem of up to 50 females). The problem for human females arises because she wants alpha genes, and she wants the resourc…

I think that's probably somewhat forlorn as women will never accept it (I know, who cares) but that is a problem as long as the "out" of the government exists. Patriarchal societies exist in harsh environments of limited resources. Islamic societies are actually a good example of this; they are living in a fucking desert resources are scarce. Its pretty self explanatory women want resources (hypergamy), men thrive in resource scarce environments (agency), therefore men end up with resources in a…

This is the trap feminism has set for women. It tells them the only way they can be happy is to out compete men, at being men, and with the help of an educational system that discriminates and discourages boys, they achieve that. Then they get to 39 they realise they are not happy and now its too late to have a husband and children because they are old. They really have royally screwed themselves into a corner, and this time there aren't going to be any white knights swooping in to save them.

This is the contradiction of female nature; they want a guy who is just a little bit dangerous, but at the same time they want to feel 100% secure at all times. I will concede that yes there probably is something mildly sexually threatening about a cat call, and this offends their need for security, but when they have that security they become bored and crave "excitement" (read "danger"). Their emotional brains do not recognise that danger and security are diametrically opposed concepts, and so …

Love is kind of like a magic trick. Once you know how it's done, the magic is gone. Now that you know what love is, the spell is broken. Women love what men do for them, not the man himself. I believe this is called "Briffault's Law"; a woman will only interact with a man if it is a net benefit to her. When you love someone you'll do something for them with no benefit to yourself. Women must always benefit when dealing with a man or not deal at all. Essentially women love men the same way a man …

Doesn't she know that men need a woman's consent to say "hello" to them? Feminists, as usual, do not know what the fuck they want. They all crave the alpha bad boy with an attitude and an iron cock but at the same time they want all men so neutered they are afraid to say "hello" to them in case they are called a rapist. What women want is really a guy that's just a little bit dangerous. It turns them on. But at the same time they want to be absolutely 100% safe at all times, and their logic defi…

What is feminism, at its core? Pathological accountability avoidance. Notice the underlying themes of feminist rhetoric; men are always at fault, and women are never at fault. Ever. You'll notice that feminists, SJW's, and leftists in general, are utopians. I think that is the ultimate end game (not that it will ever get that far, this is and always will be a fantasy) is a female utopia where women are never made to be responsible for their actions.

Part of me wonders if women are mildly sociopathic. The narcissism, the entitlement, the lack of empathy or impulse control, unrealistic life goals (wanting to bag a man that's a 9 or higher when you are a 6 under the right light), failure to plan ahead (the wall) all of these traits are diagnostic of a sociopathic personality type.

But the more I learned the more thoroughly disillusioned I became with the idea of romantic love and pair bonding. The red pill is a bitter pill, but once you get over that sense of loss, and you do, what you are left with is clarity. Its like someone showing you how an amazing magic trick is real…

Its really pseudo-scientific unfortunately. Beyond screening for hereditary diseases (like a high risk of certain cancers) its impossible to "breed" superior humans. What we find attractive in a mate is based on genetic compatibility this is the basis for "the type"; whether a man prefers blondes, brunettes or redheads, its an unconscious selection for genetic compatibility. If you took the egg of a woman who has Tricia Helfer's looks and Stephen Hawking's IQ there's actually no real scientific …

Do women actually give anything more than sex though? Companionship? I have friends. Good ones. Or I could get a dog. Emotional support? That's bullshit men are emotionally independent by natures, and if you have serious emotional problems that's beyond the purview of a wife that's what professionals are for. House keeping? I'm one man how much mess can I make? I'm perfectly capable of cooking and cleaning and it's not demanding time wise. Sex is the only thing a woman can give that you cannot g…

Regression to the mean. Unfortunately exceptional genetically advantageous traits do not compound, rather the more they deviate from the mean the more likely it is that their offspring will be average. Take a man and a woman with a 140 IQ each and their children are statistically going to be average. Women always go for taller men, so why are we not seeing 8 foot tall people? Regression to the mean.

Perhaps, but now it's starting to get complicated. You would be looking at tens of thousands of dollars to do this. That's before the kid is even born. It's not impossible, but it is prohibitive. You really need to want to do this, and have enough money to buy a Mercedes to spare. Per child as well so if you want more than one, hell you probably need to be a millionaire.

"Is there anyway I can hurt her?" What's the point? It doesn't accomplish anything, beyond some grim sense of satisfaction. Don't be vindictive that's just being petty, which is sinking to her level. Be the bigger man. Its probably best for your own emotional well being to just avoid her like she is radioactive. It isn't going to punish her, you are already off her radar. "One day,she should cry for me." She will. Time is your ally. You said you are 24 so she is your age or maybe a little young.…

If you and your wife could not have a child and you went the surrogacy route, I would agree. But a single man against the woman who is technically the biological mother of the child...They could argue "best interests of the child" or some shit like that. I'm not saying this happens, or is even that likely. I'm just saying I would not be overly surprised if it did.

"Technically we weren't together so she has the right to do it" No, she doesn't. She went behind your back. The two of you were courting so she knew this was going somewhere, but she just couldn't resist some alpha dick. If she really wanted sex, why not just have it with you? "Im afraid that I cant trust her." You're right, you can't. "shes no longer a drinker or party girl and doesn't talk to other guys" Only fucks them when the mood strikes. I think the sad fact is that going mgtow means giving up on the idea of ever having a family. Men cannot have a child without a woman, but when they do its not "my child" or "our child", its "her child". Simply put I do not trust the legal system. Pre-nup? Yeah you could get one, but what's to stop a gynocentric court simply throwing it out? Same with surrogacy. You could get the most iron clad contract in the world that says she is just the oven, once little Bobbie or Jenny is here her role is …

No one ever said all divorces end in alimony to the wife. But the fact that such a thing as alimony even exists is a risk in itself. Its also the only form of debt for which we still have debtor's prison. A man can end up paying lifetime alimony to his ex-wife. My cousin its paying it to his ex-wife, and they were barely married 3 years. Even if it is not as common as some people think (and like I said, no one thinks it occurs 100% of the time), the sheer severity of the consequences is enough t…

That's a big misconception about mgtow; we do not hate women, we simply acknowledge that dealing with them carries more risks than benefits. Is rape survivor justified in hating everyone who belongs to that demographic? No. Are they justified in fearing them? Yes. Of course she/he is going to be wary given what they've experienced in the past this is rational. Do I accept responsibility for the consequences of people practicing that philosophy? I don't know what the fuck that's supposed to mean.

"Meanwhile, on planet Earth, most rape claims, true or false, never see a courtroom, much less a conviction." Nor do they need to. A false rape accusation can get a man killed. College campuses have kangaroo courts were all a woman needs to secure a conviction is a story that is at least plausible, and that man is expelled from college. Celebrities have had their careers annihilated by nothing more than innuendo and insinuation of a rape allegation. "Who burned you, this bad, that you're doing t…

In my experience women are acutely unaware of "the wall". I'm seeing this a lot now because I'm at that age where, if I were female, I would be hitting the wall myself, so I'm seeing this in female acquiescences that are in my peer group. Girls just want to have fun, because they are young and hot and they can get all of the men they want either into bed or into their orbit, and it just does not seem to enter their pretty little bobble heads that this is not going to last. They don't see the wal…

"challenged irrelevant remarks made about her appearance on LinkedIn, you don’t take sexist comments with a pinch of salt." And apparently just can't ignore them either. Also, why is his age relevant? Given that many radical feminists call for a matriarchal utopia where men are reduced to slaves or worse, its a bit rich to object to being called a nazi. As if that was not the desired effect. Yes men, in aggregate, earn more than women, in aggregate. And there can be no other possible reason for …

I have a rule about dating; more than 15 minutes late ditch the bitch. If I arrange to meet a woman for drinks in a bar at 9, I'll be there for 9. She gets 15 minutes grace (I'm not an asshole, she might have got stuck in traffic or missed her bus), but if she's 15+ minutes late she's shit testing you. Even if she does eventually turn up you tell her to get lost.

If a woman marries a millionaire and then divorces his ass faster than he can say "alimony" if he loses his business, no one bats an eyelid. But if a man says anything negative about women ageing (and they do age like milk left in the sun) then suddenly its misogyny, or patriarchy, or the sky is falling.

Yeah I don't think women can actually be friends with men, any more than you can be friends with your car. Its simply a way of getting what they want i.e. free rides instead of having to pay for the bus or a cab. They stop caring the moment you are no longer useful to them, as opposed to caring about your well being. She is avoiding you and chatting with someone else because your social status has been pulled down by this fiasco. If she continued to associate with you, by extension her own socia…

OK so some borderline attention whore asked you out, you did the right thing and said "no", and she tried to kill herself. Dude, women never try to kill themselves this is just another attempt at getting attention. Women are more than 4 times more likely to "attempt" suicide than men, even though men are at least double the number of actual suicides. In other words, they are not really trying to kill themselves. Its staged. Its a mock suicide attempt (where actually killing oneself is never inte…

Its up to you. When dealing with women its important to have situational awareness. Beware of shit tests, their hypergamous nature, and the fact that they can (quite literally) get away with murder. Yes. Men are much better at being alone than women, we're less needy emotionally, however we do still need company. Humans are a social species. Its important to have people in your life that care about you and a good circle of male friends (maybe some of them are mgtow too?) is important. Different …

If you find a way to do it then go for it. A lot of mgtow would like to be fathers, but its just not worth the risk. Hell a lot of mgtow are fathers and are alienated from their children by their ex-wives. Yeah. Basically the full story on this one is that I was talking to one of the trainers and I offhandedly suggested getting some heavier dumbbells because the heaviest ones they have are 90lbs, and that's when he told me that they might be taking away all the dumbbells heavier than 45lbs and limiting the amount of weight you can put on a barbell because of "complaints" and that they wanted the free weights area (which incidentally does have small rubber dumbbells in the 5-25lb range) more "femal…

I've been weight lifting for 15 years, I've never had or seen an injury worse than a pulled muscle. Besides if dropping it on yourself is a safety concern then they would have to ban weight lifting in gyms. Whether its 135lbs or 315lbs, it doesn't really matter. If you drop that on yourself you're going to the hospital or worse. As for damaging the equipment these are Olympic barbells those things are rated for a 1000lbs or something crazy like that. In any case I actually heard the reason from …

This was shot down (no doubt they will try again) at my gym but they wanted to introduce weight limits. Not body weight limits, but limits on how heavy you could stack a barbell. Apparently some of the guys benching 225 was "triggering" the delicate feminists.

Speaking as a "mgtow", I have a kinder view of MRM. Turd Flinging Monkey (a YouTube mgtow) has a good video on this he illustrates the varying possible power dynamics between men and women. In a patriarchy, men have authority and responsibility. In an egalitarian society, women have equal authority, but men still bear the responsibility. In a feminist society which is what we're heading into now, men bear all of the responsibility and have no authority, and women have all the authority and bear …

It wasn't the entitlement of it it was just the sheer logic fail. Her position was quite literally that if you ignore gender differences in physical strength, then the genders are equal in physical strength, and she didn't get it.

Mgtow are mgtow because we realise the truth about female nature. Many gay men are, not to pick on a stereotype, very effeminate in their behaviour and mannerisms. How deep does the this similarity go? I'm not gay myself so I honestly don't know. Maybe the stereotype is just a stereotype with no real basis in reality, or maybe the ugly truth about female nature is not exclusive to females.

I wouldn't say this is a "fear" so much as a "concern". Its a bit out there but hear me out. Men accumulate resources throughout our lives, that's what we do. I've made it a personal ambition of mine to retire a wealthy man, and enjoy my golden years never having to worry about money, and so far so good that plan is pretty much on track. 30 years to go. I was debating this with a female acquaintance of mine (she's a fitness instructor at the local gym) and we were actually in the gym at the time, and so I went for the obvious example; physical strength. Men are superior, hands down. We're both power lifters and while she's got decent strength for a girl, her max dead lift is 1/3rd what mine is. She actually said that, in the realm of physical strength, if you control for body weight and gender(!!), men and women are physically equally matched. …

Why not give her your number? Have a great first few months, and a decent second few months, and then when the spark is gone and the sex dies down and she start's getting cunty, tell her its not working out. Being mgtow doesn't mean be a monk. You can still date and have sex. Just protect yourself. I suppose the simplest definition would be a man who is not married or in a long term relationship and has no intention of ever getting into one until the day he dies. Some mgtow still date in the short term, have sex etc, and some consider even that to be more hassle than its worth. Mgtow do not hate women, any more than you would hate sharks for occasionally biting someone. Its a shark, what did you expect? We view women the same way. Females will do what female nature dictates. It is what it …

Since you acknowledge that this state of affairs is reality you are in fact accepting it. "Acceptance" of reality does not have to mean liking it. The cancer patient may accept that he's going to be dead in 6 months, doesn't mean he's in love with the idea.

You see, I'm going to blow your mind here, men are people. Our role is not to serve you. We don't have a "role", we're human beings not kitchen utensils. Don't try to stop, that's impossible. Sex is a drive like food or air you can't quit it "cold turkey". Try to get it under control. 20 minutes a day. Do it once, get it out of your system, and get on with your day. Treat it like any other daily chore, like shaving. Get it done, and that's you until tomorrow.

I thought the point of mgtow was independence? Men going their own way, not dependent on anyone or anything. You are suggesting that we join the welfare queens and become entirely dependent on a dying system. I work a hell of a lot, not to support anyone but to achieve my goal; to be independently wealthy. Yes I get taxed but there's nothing I can do about it, so I write it off. The current system will not last whether we pay taxes or not, and I intend to beat the system by outliving it.

Feminism is socialism with a skirt on. That's why they through Ayn Rand under the bus, even though she's a woman, and wrote the 2nd most popular book ever...in a language she could not speak until she was in her 20's. All that sisterhood nonsense goes right out the window if you oppose free stuff for women. Women tend to be very pro-welfare state because the welfare state, ostensibly, cares for people.
