Don’t fall for the marrying up part. I married up but then she didn’t want to work full time. So she worked part time and made same as me. Then kid comes and doesn’t like work anymore. Going through divorce now. Let’s see how I end up.

It’s just money. You can make more of it later. You can’t make more time. Enjoy!

Let's say he does have a micro penis. He can't change that. That's a physical characteristic he can't possibly change. So you attack one of the things that he literally can't control. Let me guess you also wouldn't date somebody under 6 feet tall right? You probably also would complain if somebody said you could lose some weight. Criticizing and shaming men is not going to change the fact of 50% marriage failure rate plus another large chunk of those just being miserable but not divorcing. If yo…

You are fucked. Yes she knew from the beginning. Just get out now before you fall into lifetime alimony territory. Then you'll REALLY be fucked.

Sell what you can obviously. I did that for the larger items. The rest I got 1 800 junk to get it out of the way. Lot more affordable than I expected and didn't have to lift or do anything else. Gone in one hour and I was done.

Yea $1000 is a cheap lesson to get out. Just move on. You can make more money, you can't make more time.

I agree. I'm at 11 years wasted but marriage is not worth it.

What is it with the blaming criticism and yelling? Mine was especially bad at nagging. 5 minutes on the couch just relaxing? "There's always something to do!!!". Pff I do more with my kid now and have more free time (taking care of everything for myself) and no. Theres plenty of time to do nothing. Anyways, like you, I went in a rant too.

I thought I was trapped too. About to hit 2 months since I moved out. I spend even more time with my son now (50/50 custody).

Even take out is a chore with them. "I don't know what I want. What do you want? No not that"

Same. Going through the divorce now. Actually doing the yard sale at this moment. Stuff that doesn't sell is going to the junk pile.

Dude okay so you like your life. Great. Personally what I am against is the fact that tomorrow your wife can cheat on you. She can then get alimony, child support, cash and prizes and there is not much you can do about it. You are at the mercy of her to be willing to do an amicable divorce because otherwise you are screwed. This is why people here say that it isn't worth it. Sure they may find their "one" that gives them a life like you have now. But legally that can change in a second by her an…

Not good enough. I married a nurse practitioner. She was supposed to be making about twice as me. What do you think she does? She starts to work part time. We have a kid and now works as a nursing teacher cause it's less stressful. Now makes less than me. Hopefully won't have to pay too much in child support since we make about the same now.

Sure. But what's the point? Why get married either way??

Go through mediation and pay a lawyer to review the mediation agreement. Make sure agreement says something like you have three days to cancel or back out kind of thing.

Not just well off men. What does a poor guy get out of it? maybemore money together but that still isn't worth the nagging and freedom lost. I'm going through divorce right now and id rather be poor than a slave.

Not interested right now. Don't see much of the benefits.

They have nothing to do with each other. Alimony is for the wife for being a bum while child support is for the "kids"

This. Exactly this. We started the divorce process this month exactly because of this realization. Can't wait to be free.

This keeps getting posted every few months. That's fine. Just be aware that they got married shortly after that.

If you were to say I have the money so I make all the rules would you consider that appropriate? That's abuse in a relationship. Just cause it's a woman doing it doesn't make it right.

Going through that right now. We did our taxes and she was like see even though I worked less we almost made the same than previous years. I want to tell her yea bitch cause you have never actually worked full time the whole time we've been together! Just because you get paid 1.5 times my hourly rate doesn't mean you should just coast and work a 20 hour week.

Get a ups store address. They are a real address which should work for your address requirements in NC.

What have you tried? I would be livid and call every local newstation. Don't think they would care though, but worth a try.

Have your lawyer send her lawyer a bill for half the rent. Keep sending every month. Then evict her once she has the appropriate number of unpaid months.

Don't get married. Prenups are thrown out of court every day. Look to see if your state has common law marriage. https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/free-books/living-together-book/chapter2-4.html If so then start living apart. Good luck.

What do you use as source for dividend date? I assume same source as dividend amount but if different what do you use for that? Any reason why you do reinvest and not just take the dividend money and cash out? I guess cause the stock price has declined by then did to the distribution right? Do you usually cash out the whole amount after a certain time then? Cause I assume that just because they have a high monthly dividend doesn't mean it's a good long term stock.
