I think I know what's going on. She is getting negative feedback from something and it is changing her mind. I had a theory that the way we talk about sex and rape can influence a victim. I felt like it was showing such an unusal case of a disturbed child with no history of violence against other people no abuse at home no criminal record etc, no missing father.
