I just want to update this post. Yesterday was the finale. The judge signed our MDA. It’s over. But I want to believe a new life has been born. And I want to thank all of you for the support, encouragement and solid advice. All of this still feels so surreal and sobering. Part of me feels relieved. Part of me feels sad/dead. But I want to believe this too shall pass and better days are ahead. Thank you again everyone. I really appreciate all of you for taking the time and energy to write on here…

Dang. This is good… I hate it because it seems like a lot of people have been asking me today if this is workable. But I’ve been trying to save this marriage for the last nine months. Damn I needed to hear this so bad. This is just confirmation that I need to do what I need to do and move forward with this divorce. My wife of 6 years has been abusing me financially and emotionally and had been manipulating me. So happy for you man! Keep it up!

What were you able to do with the false charges? Was the charge made before or after the divorce started?

I’ve been hesitant to get a divorce because I’m afraid she’ll come after me hard and make all these accusations of abuse and from what I’ve seen in the past, women always win that argument. I don’t have much of anything, pay check to paycheck supporting her. But I have my house that I put her name on… I wish I could do no contest divorce but I’m sure the moment I mention divorce she will come after me hard.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
