I thought that’s almost all they did. Especially with saying that women are shallow with looks when men are even more shallow.

I’ve been friend-zoned by a few guys I was really interested in, too! And I’m sure we’re not the only women.

There are certainly some things you can say that will be a turn off, but it also depends on the woman. Like if you ask for nudes from a woman you barely know or send a dick pic, no matter how much she already liked you that may make her hate you and think you’re a pervert, or that may actually lead to her sending nudes. I’ve responded the 2nd way a few times before when I was interested in the guy but I’m sure there are plenty of women who’d respond the 1st way.

That’s barely what I said at all 🙄

No but “nice guys” tend to be too boring and/or passive aggressive so instead of communicating something directly to not hurt our feelings they tend to lie, ghost or temporarily ignore us, etc.

Well us women get told that we lose our good looks and have a hard time conceiving children once we hit 30 but for the most part that’s not true, either!

I never said to only go for looks, and replying to a comment someone wrote months ago is just weird!

Depends on who they’re listening to, but unfortunately a lot of them claim that it’s more about what men can’t help like their height and face shape.

1 thing would be to not generalize women, especially falsely assuming that even the majority of us only want rich, handsome, older, tall men.

Yeah exactly! Like I would say I’m more of the exception of the rule of women not caring about looks as much, although there have been times where I was interested in a guy for his funny, nice personality and similar interests and just saw him as average in looks. Or he even had physical “flaws” like being really short (though I’m short, too, so that’s something I never cared about), bad teeth, lots of acne, etc.

Finally someone here who agrees and gets what I said! I’m not even saying they all are or that women aren’t, just that on average they are when it comes to looks.

That is plenty of evidence I’ve seen including in real life! And I’m NOT singling it out nor am I saying it’s the case for everyone. But, whatever, you don’t have to believe me just like I don’t believe you.

Just being out both in the world and online a lot! Seeing couples where the woman is more so more attractive and online men more criticizing women’s looks than women do to men.

As much as some men won’t admit this and say that women are way more shallow, evidence shows that this is the case in a physical way.

I used to also listen to Corey Wayne out of curiosity of what he’s teaching men! I think he gives mostly good advice but some of it is game-playing which can backfire like it did with you. I sometimes tried to play a little hard to get with guys I liked by waiting a few hours or the next day to message back, but waiting a few days just to try to get someone to like you more often does the opposite! However, that woman you described seems too insecure and clingy to wanting to be texting every sin…
/r/ExRedPill05/12/24 05:11 PM

Just because her husband is now rich doesn’t mean that’s the main or only reason she married him. Just like a few of the guys I have dated, hooked up with, or just been interested in have been tall but it doesn’t mean it’s because they’re tall - some of the guys I’ve been the most interested in have been short like 5’5, in fact.

He’s proclaimed to be redpilled and sometimes has given advice on how guys can improve their looks like with their hair and working out. I also don’t remember him saying stuff like it’s over for all short guys.

A couple years ago I found Wheat Waffles on YouTube and was very curious what one average man was teaching other men about us women. I actually agreed with some of what he was saying like how us women also go for looks, though I already thought that was common sense/knowledge. But I hated how he kept saying that all women are “hypergamous” and only go for guys more attractive than we are, and as if human attractiveness is objective anyways. Also how at only like 20 years old he acted like he kno…

“There’s a 90% chance she’ll sleep with you as long as you get to know her for the rest of the day…” Yes…it is! Nothing about a relationship.

You’re still just making wild assumptions here! And changing what your post said.
/r/ExRedPill30/07/24 01:22 PM

Haha yeah! While communication and a sense of humor is great, that alone isn’t going to lead 90% of women to want to sleep with a guy.
/r/ExRedPill30/07/24 04:44 AM

Yeah, the post first sounds nice but then goes on and on and with the end goal of just having sex ASAP by tricking a woman into thinking sex wasn’t the goal 🤦‍♀️
/r/ExRedPill30/07/24 04:38 AM
5

Your post sounded like you meant within the same day! But regardless, even if it’s eventually, it takes more than just making a woman laugh and talking to her like a friend so your 90% assumption is still just…wrong.
/r/ExRedPill30/07/24 02:43 AM

While some of that is good advice, it’s a huge assumption that 90% of even irreligious single women like myself will have sex with men we met that same day! And who wouldn’t even take us on a proper date first. There are many reasons why many of us don’t want to have sex with someone we’ve known for one day, even those we are physically attracted to. Take it from a woman who has rejected having sex with a few guys whom I was already making out with and wanted to date, but didn’t want to seem lik…

Me not being that attracted to those male models has literally nothing to do with them having “bad skin” since they don’t have that and they’re probably wearing some makeup when modeling anyways. There’s also no such thing as a “perfect skull” and makeup helps a little with us women looking better but I keep reading that men don’t like a lot of makeup on women. You having an account naming yourself “Chad,” a picture of an AI-looking “perfect” man, and having negative 100 karma is really telling …

They’re models but there are plenty of guys I’ve seen with more attractive/cuter faces.

Same - I don’t care about a guy being tall and if a guy I’m seeing or just crushing on is about 6 feet me being into them has absolutely nothing to do with their height, and in fact wish they were shorter or wish I was a little bit taller (and wish I was a baller…) And because I still have a round babyface I both am more attracted to and tend to attract guys who have that, too. But there are some things I prioritize with guys’ looks but some women don’t care or are into the opposite - like a guy…

I agree for the most part, and especially about there being a lot more attractive women than men especially since we women usually try harder! I rarely see a really attractive guy IRL anymore - a lot more so on Instagram but it’s usually really young guys and most don’t live near me - and often it’s stuff they can change like their thick beard they should trim or shave, their hairstyle (if they have hair still), their fashion, and just being really out of shape.

For one, not assume that every woman you try to talk to will reject you. Two, not make other bad assumptions about others like you did with me.

That was a long read for a comment but was interesting enough for me to read all of it! And I do feel sorry for your partner for the harassment he experiences and anyone who experiences it! I sometimes read comments online from guys who haven’t experienced it that they wouldn’t mind if they did or wouldn’t mind getting any attention from any woman which is BS. Same with whenever it’s reported a female teacher having sex with a middle school or high school student.

It won’t ever work again for you with THAT attitude of yours!

Yeah I can believe it! I definitely was exaggerating about really good-looking guys never getting rejected and tried to imply that’s what redpill teaches. But there is some truth to they at least get their “foot in the door” by being really attractive - what they don’t teach is that it’s the same and maybe even more so for women, too, and that people get rejected for their personality, too, or just for something that’s nothing personal. Like I’ve had some really good-looking guys try to sleep wi…

I did read practically all of it and I get you’re saying cold-approaching often doesn’t work, but nobody has said it often works with most guys. But the fact that you did get a girlfriend out of it shows that it does sometimes work.

Yeah I know! I actually feel bad for those it happens to, especially in their early 30’s or younger, since obviously baldness can’t be helped unless maybe certain products are used that are meant to prevent it or they get an expensive hair transplant. And I’ve never been attracted to baldness or even really short hair on guys.

Yes you did misunderstand!!!! But I guess my fault for not making it more clear as to what my intention was to my comment, however you shouldn’t be making assumptions about someone like me simply for writing a comment you don’t agree with and that you misunderstood anyways. I listened to some of Rich Cooper’s videos a few weeks ago out of curiosity and at first I agreed with a lot of what he’s saying since he’s somewhat anti-redpill, but then he started saying some misogynistic redpill talking points. Like about women “hitting the wall” in our 30’s and 40’s but attractive men either never “hitting the wall” or it being when they’re much older. He was also saying some unrealistic things for most like how all men should strive to be millionaires by the time they’re 3…

I thought it was that no matter what, if you’re a really good-looking guy then girls will be approaching you and none of them will be rejecting you. Like even if you’re by yourself, not dressed the best, and don’t say the right things if anything at all. But the redpill takes it too far and says you also have to be at least 6 feet tall, have 6 pack abs, have a chiseled jawline, be either white or black, and be named either Chad or Tyrone. I care because much of what it teaches, including a lot of what you said, is a bunch of lies! Lots of women, including myself, have gotten rejected and our hearts broken by some guys for one reason or another, even if we (which also includes myself) have been told we’re beautiful many times and been hit on by many others. Many guys aren’t desperate and many have either taken the going their own way route, are very picky, or only want to date a certain type. Looks do mean a lot but it’s not every…

I think if they do get a girlfriend or a FWB they’ll still be jealous and resentful of guys who have what they consider ones who are better-looking. A lot of them claim they don’t really care about a ladies’ looks and they never try above their “league” but I doubt that’s really true.

This! Plus I’m sure a lot watch porn, or at least I almost never see it condemned in the manosphere, but they want virgins and for women everywhere to dress “modestly” (whatever that means to them and despite it being about a hundred or more degrees out many places in the summer).
/r/ExRedPill17/06/24 03:58 AM

I’ve watched a few of her videos, including one recently, just out of curiosity of what dating advice another woman is telling about dating especially to men. A lot of it is realistic and great advice but a lot of it is still generalizing. Sometimes she interviews other women which is really good so it’s not just her point of view, but I can tell some of their answers and the way they same them, like being hesitant, is them probably sugarcoating what they really think.
/r/ExRedPill13/06/24 04:34 PM

Exactly! I also commented about growing the hair out more, assuming it’s short of course.
/r/ExRedPill12/06/24 12:30 AM

Despite what the redpill says, there are not just one or two kinds of looks that’ll fit the female gaze and you don’t need to be tall. Another advice to not listen to from them is to get a haircut and grow a beard and look as “masculine” as possible - many of us women love longer hair on the head and not so much on the face. Also even getting highlights could help and dressing in more fitted clothes and dark colors.

Oh dang didn’t realize that anyone could be banned on there since people are constantly insulting each other from both sides. And, yeah, on that sub and the dating advice sub it’s a lot of posts from guys saying they’re in their early 20’s and giving up on dating completely already because the women they want (which I’m sure is mainly based on their physical appearance) don’t want them back. Sometimes I read women on Reddit say they completely give up on dating, too, but usually it’s because the…

Yeah, they complain that they’re doomed because of their short or average height…or because they’re not rich…or because all women are more shallow and picky than men are. Ignoring both what we say and the fact that plenty of short, poor, even not-so-attractive guys get into relationships.

It should be common sense and always been known that many women go for looks, too, and go after or flirt with guys they find attractive though in the past in more subtle ways like dropping their handkerchief so their crush picks it up for them. But I already stated what gets exaggerated and generalized of what women do find attractive.

While there is SOME truth to “red pill” like how most girls/women also go for looks and most women want a man taller than them and some say at least 6 feet and there are gold diggers out there, the red pill exaggerates and generalizes that to be women in general. They tend to take things from narrow experiences, like dating apps or the American and western European college scenes, and assume it’s the same everywhere. As in my post last night, definitely redpillers thinking the whole a man has to be 6 feet tall and make a 6 figure or more salary and that all women want the same basic “perfect” man with those characteristics…named Chad (and I wonder if that name was picked because of Chad Michael Murray). But also that these Chad characters are sleeping with almost every woman they see just because they can, even the women considered average or below average because even Chads barely care about looks for short…
/r/ExRedPill10/06/24 04:09 AM

Okay I see. I just took away my downvote. And yeah I do agree there are some truths to “redpill” like many women also go for looks and are shallow, and there are women who won’t date a guy who’s at least 6 feet and wealthy, but then they take it as the majority of women only want tall, rich men to sleep with and spoil them.
/r/ExRedPill10/06/24 01:27 AM
2

Well glad you got out of the red pill community already and realize that there’s a variety of women just like there’s a variety of men! I have nothing against those much younger than me, just those who think they know everything about life already when they’ve experienced very little relatively.
/r/ExRedPill10/06/24 01:22 AM
2

Yeah, I like to speak my mind too much online so I ended up with getting a bunch of downvotes and arguments. My last straw last night was a guy who admitted to only being 22 but acting like he already knew for a fact that all women just want tall, rich men just based on studies (never cited them) and what he saw on the beach in Florida. But apparently me a 36 year old woman doesn’t know what women want and that I’m wrong about us not caring about or wanting the same things…
/r/ExRedPill10/06/24 01:03 AM

Yeah and then constantly the same talking points about women only wanting 6 feet tall men with a 6 figured income. I also see it semi-regularly on the dating subs, but not as much and not as many others agreeing.
/r/ExRedPill10/06/24 12:57 AM

Yeah and if we don’t care for tall, rich men all named Chad then we’re either one in a million who do or desperate because we’re old and ugly (supposedly…) so we don’t count.
/r/ExRedPill09/06/24 10:29 PM

Yeah hopefully the redpill movement has already reached its peak! I’m surprised that I did get so many replies because I thought lack of posts meant lack of participating members.

Haha yeah! I’m just going to block and possibly report them including the ones popping up on here, especially if they start insulting me for no good reason.
/r/ExRedPill09/06/24 10:25 PM

Yeah you’re right! And I think I might have been kind of naive to think it would be more balanced and that there aren’t THAT many redpillers complaining and arguing on Reddit.
/r/ExRedPill09/06/24 10:21 PM
2

There are some other non-redpillers but in my experiences from seeing posts every day for the past few weeks, most of the topics are started from redpillers and are very anti-women. And if you say something against redpill then you end up getting downvoted and argued against a lot.
/r/ExRedPill09/06/24 10:15 PM
6

Haha yeah! Or they think only women they find unattractive (which to them includes any woman over 35 so at 36 I guess I’m in that category despite not looking much different than in my 20’s) would “settle” for a short, not-so-rich guy so if we say we don’t care about height or a man’s money that much then our preferences don’t count.
/r/ExRedPill09/06/24 10:12 PM
3

Yeah it’s only human nature! Though according to redpill us women only like tall men who look like a young Arnold Schwarzenegger (despite a young Leonardo DiCaprio and the shorter Tom Cruise also being celebrity heartthrobs).
/r/ExRedPill09/06/24 10:03 PM
3

Lol yeah - so much hypocrisy with them! Including with complaining that women only want attractive men (though the complaint is more only women they find attractive themselves) and with saying that women in our 30’s are old but men in their 30’s are still young.

I’m sorry but this is what I was talking about regarding redpillers and am tired of arguing about - there’s some objective truths with attractiveness but there’s also a lot of variance! Your example of what all women are attracted to is ridiculous! A lot of it is not even what I prefer or care about at all - I like more “pretty boys” and prefer lighter hair colors, for example.

Ikr?! Short women like myself (5’2) also sometimes get overlooked…figuratively and literally…by guys even of average height like 5’9 just for being short. I know from getting commented on how short I am from guys sometimes, and not in a good way, and getting guys’ attention more when I’m wearing 4 inch heels. But it is what it is.

I personally usually can but my comment wasn’t all about me 🙄 People get rejected for more than just their looks or anything personal anyways - if you got out more you’d know that.

Who are you showing your abs off for on Reddit then? Other guys?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 08:23 AM

I did end up reading all that so I deleted that comment, but average 22 year olds really don’t have much experience, maybe someday when you’re older you’ll realize that. I’m done now arguing with someone 14 years younger than me who thinks they know it all with dating/women 😂

Imagine having your worldview on relationships be only based on statistics from some study and the bubble you live in 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 05:07 AM

“I’m a part of Gen Z” - that explains a lot with you being so young and not having enough experience in the real world nor maturity. And you definitely don’t seem like a nice guy, like so many others who claim they tried to be a nice guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/06/24 05:04 AM

No the problem is this other guy obviously hasn’t gone out enough - maybe he’s just too young to - and noticed enough things.

Stats don’t mean everything and are often taken from dating apps which is just a little bit of the real world. The beach is also just a little bit of the real world so you can’t just take from what you see there. Of course height is a factor for many women but obviously not for some - I’ve even known or just seen couples where the man is shorter than the woman. You’re beginning to sound like Elliott Rogers with that beach couples observation 🙄

Oh, please!!!! Get out in the real world and you’ll realize it’s more about your overall look, personality, and having a decent career but they don’t have to be rich except for gold-diggers. For some women that stuff doesn’t even matter at all. I’ve even rejected rich and tall guys who hit on me because I didn’t like their overall look and/or personality but have dated and hooked up with 5’4 guys (not out of desperation but because I really liked them and I’m only 5’2 myself) and guys with littl…

For one, many single people are not on dating apps because they don’t want to meet someone that way, especially women including myself. Two, you often don’t really know what someone looks like with just pictures especially with photo editing and filters. Photos can also make you look worse than you do IRL. Three, if you go out and do stuff you find fun you will already see and potentially meet people who also have those same interests. But my personal main reason is that it just feels way more n…

This what I agree with more, actually! Of course some things you can’t ever change, or are too expensive for someone to change, but lots of things are easily changeable and don’t cost that much.

Glad to finally see a post like this! I’ve sometimes felt like making one like this myself but I didn’t want to end up getting a bunch of negative replies from guys who claim it’s us women who are the only hypergamous ones. Only kind of disagree with the becoming rich and offering money would automatically get you a relationship with a hot woman - it happens but not all women would forego a hot guy for money, and I think if you are rich you should probably spend some money on improving your look…
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 04:11 PM

Ya’ll definitely making assumptions here 🙄 Obviously I meant when you don’t know they’re taken!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 03:52 PM

It’s not entitlement! I’m talking about when you don’t know they’re taken and/or gay - DUH!

No I meant Austin Butler.

Is that undateable woman in the room with us right now?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 05:02 AM

Another one of these rants blaming women for everything and stereotyping us all to be the same?! Seems like almost every day now. “Some are neurodivergent.” No shit! But those of us who are neurodivergent don’t care so much about a guy being charming and outgoing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 04:57 AM

Like at least going out to bars, nightclubs, music events, etc. and starting conversations with women or try dancing with them where others are dancing.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 04:03 AM

You’re half right - many men have options if they actually get out there and try, but us women get rejected or ignored sometimes, too, especially if the guy is already taken and/or gay or women who are considered way below average, so we can’t just freely get any guy we want. I see there are commenters saying you’re wrong about guys having options, but they’re probably the guys who are the exception to the rule of having options or they just don’t even try.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/24 02:36 AM

Kind-hearted and honest men don’t blame women for what men do 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 08:46 PM

WTF?! This commenter obviously was expecting him to also date and keep in contact with her since that’s what he WAS doing. Of course it’s a big deal when you get ignored and stood up by someone you’re into AND slept with.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 08:38 PM
2

Women may choose to hook up with these men, but you can’t blame them if they don’t realize those men have bad traits before sleeping with them! A lot of us women won’t automatically sleep with guys even if we’re really attracted to them - often it takes them pressuring us and acting like they’re super into us.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 08:30 PM
2

No, you’re just WRONG! Even just what you said the first guy was being kind of creepy since he asked for her Instagram and trying to flirt with her when she’s underage and he’s much older. Again, you’re just making assumptions that it’s all about a guy’s looks and nothing else. Him being chubby didn’t help but I doubt she’d be all over him if he wasn’t.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 01:37 PM
1

“She didn’t feel comfortable talking to the other guy initially.” So what! We can pick and choose who we want to talk to and it’s not always because of physical attraction or not. And maybe that first guy was already making his move or staring at her but you didn’t see it.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 01:22 PM
2

She didn’t find him creepy because he wasn’t being creepy. And yes there are exceptions but most girls and women don’t want big age gaps, especially the younger they are, and that girl in your example even said she just wants someone her age so believe her!
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 01:01 PM
3

I was agreeing until you said it’s only about the attractiveness level even if the man’s much older and you’re underage - what BS! And just because she laughs and jokes with someone doesn’t mean she’s interested in him.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 12:54 PM
1

Touching me anywhere, especially my bare skin or my hair. Some places are of course worse than others, like the lower back is bad. Asking to make out with me when we’re not dating has happened a couple times from acquaintances and felt creepy. Also staring for longer than 30 seconds at a time or complimenting my boobs or butt. Honking or whistling at me when I’m walking outside by myself, and usually when I’m dressed for the warmer weather.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 12:44 PM

This is beyond ridiculous! Poverty and crime may be correlated, but that doesn’t mean poverty automatically causes crime! Men are more likely to choose to work a lot and more stressful jobs for either just themselves or their families. Most of us women have to work anyways and aren’t homemakers or have sugar daddies.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 12:29 PM
1

I’ve also heard of Henry Cavill as an example a couple of times and after looking him up also don’t find him attractive personally (but I’m pretty sure some other women do). I just also looked up Tom Hiddleston and find him fugly. Looked up Timothee and he’s more my type but I still like my examples better. The money and status are overrated for most of us and I hate the term “Chad” but sometimes use it in a joking way.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 12:20 PM
1

Who said I even want CHAD? Maybe I want pretty boy BRAD instead.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/06/24 12:13 AM

LOL 😂 That does make more sense.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 11:36 PM

He’s above average, but, again, not my type so I’m not attracted to him. And I find The Rock unattractive. Attractiveness is a lot subjective.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 10:49 PM
-1

Nevermind your first part is a matter of opinion, imagine thinking turning 30 makes us almost infertile when there are women even in their mid to late 40’s getting pregnant and giving birth 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 09:54 PM
1

Haha I guess so! I just keep reading that from other guys as the ultimate Chad and that he’s proof even all young women like some 40 year olds, and I find it laughable.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 09:48 PM
4

Not saying you are, but I always find it funny whenever I read on here Chris Hemsworth as being the man EVERY woman wants even now that he’s older when he’s not my type at all. I think these guys forget or don’t realize that not every woman, even every white woman, has the same type. My dream guy is more the pretty boy type with lighter colored hair and little facial hair like a young Leonardo DiCaprio, Ross Lynch, or Austin Butler.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 09:37 PM
1

I’d call you Captain Obvious but maybe it’s really not so obvious to those guys. Can’t tell if it’s their looks if you don’t see what they look like, but you can kind of tell their personality from what they say on here. I keep reading they’d take any woman as long as she’s not fat, which is fair IF they’re not fat themselves, but I wonder whenever I read that how desperate really are they.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/06/24 09:17 PM

You’re just really delusional for thinking that every single woman, no matter how attractive or popular she is or whether or not she uses dating apps, has hundreds or even thousands of dating prospects every single year 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
/r/PurplePillDebate04/06/24 03:59 AM

Judging from your other comments, I don’t blame those women for rejecting you in a not-so-polite way.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 11:01 PM

The sheer number of reports of men being rejected by us women, especially men complaining about it on Reddit, says way more about men’s entitlement and inflated egos/delusional standards.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 10:56 PM
3

And women date and marry short and/or fat men. You still have no point.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 10:38 PM
1

And?! Still shouldn’t expect a tall woman to go for a short man just because that’s what he prefers.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 08:57 PM
-1

A few picky short women are not like the majority of us 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 08:55 PM
4

Either that or it was seen unsolicited, but it’s not the size but rather showing it at all unsolicited.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 08:18 PM
2

🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 08:07 PM
1

That’s not being any more inflexible than a short guy wanting only taller women 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 07:57 PM
1

Occasionally the man is shorter than the woman in a relationship, but I’ve usually only seen it if the guy is REALLY attractive. So a man at that height should just aim for the many of us under 5’6.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 07:55 PM
1

She might but she never stated that she does 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 07:54 PM
3

Agreed with wanting someone similar to you, and I see nothing wrong with wanting a tall man when you’re tall yourself! But many guys will argue that because some women have stated they want a tall man that means all of us do when that’s not the case.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 07:52 PM
3

One, not every woman has fucked a guy on the first date or one she just met. Two, for those of us who have, that’s none of anyone else’s business.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 07:40 PM
1

Because we don’t want to seem desperate for a guy even if we are feeling desperate for him. Also don’t want to get ghosted again after hooking up before being in a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 04:43 PM
2

Exactly! I’ve read online from guy to guy “She’s not giving it to you (after only 2-3 dates) because she’s giving it to CHAD already!” 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 04:37 PM
4

Totally agree! Even the guys on here complaining about women’s standards and how they can never get any woman because they’re short or whatever (as if there’s no woman who’d be with a man who’s 5’5 when some of us including myself have and still would) definitely do have some minimum standards for a woman’s looks they’d date.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 04:30 PM
1

Another laughable post! 80% of women are not considered attractive by men in general, especially not women over 40. And as if even attractive women get hit on all day, every day, or get hit on regularly by attractive guys, at least without dolling themselves up and going to where attractive, single guys are. And as if women never get bullied for how they look or have disorders, including autism (which both myself and apparently some other women commenters here admit to having).
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 04:17 PM
4

Maybe not you personally but plenty of comments just online making fun of women’s looks proves many men do.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 03:15 PM
4

Maybe for just hookups but most couples show that’s wrong when the 2 are either about equally attractive (or unattractive) or the woman is better-looking. Men are also more likely to hit on and pursue women more attractive than them than the other way around. Plus even on Reddit I’ve read a lot of men’s preferences being a certain hair color and length and certain body shape while women at least don’t express that they’re that particular about men’s looks.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 03:09 PM
2

Well since it’s something they can filter and most women do want someone at least a little bit taller than them then of course they would! But I’ve seen lots of comments just on here of men wanting even specific hair colors and hair lengths and body sizes for a woman so it seems to me that men are more shallow and particular with looks than women are.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 02:58 PM
3

Exactly that, too! Why I do agree with the “red pill” of looks-maxing and looks-matching.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 03:09 AM
1

Not this again 🙄 Yes, looks matter, but it’s about the overall look of a guy AND personality (and interests, values, etc.), not just his height and penis size, if that matters a lot to a woman at all. There’s a reason why dating apps and websites have everyone put a picture of themselves on it and a description of themselves.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/24 01:10 AM
8

Well one, most men (and women of course) were more attractive back then than now simply because hardly anyone was overweight like many are now. Two, men on average had better grooming and dressing habits than they do now and married before they showed any signs of aging like balding, grey hair, wrinkles, etc. but when we women grow old with a man we’re committed to,most of us don’t care that he’s changing in appearance like we also do.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 09:10 PM
-1

Except…not. There is not one personality, preference in men, habit, etc. that even the majority of women have.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/06/24 01:37 AM
12

My biggest beef with them is that they act like either literally all women are the same or if they know we’re not all the same then the exceptions to the rule (that may or may not even be a real “rule”) don’t matter enough for them to care. So they keep on complaining about any negative aspects of some women as if it applies to all or the vast majority of us. Edit: even reading through the comments has proven my point 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 06:24 PM
2

Your first paragraph may be true, but you obviously just made that statistic up in your second paragraph so I’m once again not going to take you seriously and think your biggest problem with women is your attitude 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 04:36 PM
2

I assumed it was more of a Reddit false assumption!
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 04:21 PM
3

Not saying taller women with shorter men is common, but rather I know it occasionally happens since I’ve witnessed it with my own eyes IRL and found out about more of those couples online. What’s way more common is couples being of similar height - even my parents are both 5’10. Somehow both my sister and I ended up being 5’2, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 04:16 PM
3

Believe it or not there are women a few inches shorter than you and so wouldn’t mind a guy your height, including myself who’s 5’2. I’ve dated or hooked up with guys your height or even shorter. And I’ve even seen a few couples where the man’s shorter than the woman. Again, it’s about your overall look plus your attitude.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 02:29 PM
2

And another false assumption 🙄 Men’s height isn’t the end all be all for his attractiveness - it’s more about his face and being in shape.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 07:19 AM
5

Sigh, another one of these rants?! If you’d actually get out more you’d notice it’s usually the woman that’s better looking than the man for a heterosexual couple and on average men choose or just end up getting higher-paying jobs than women do, so of course women are more likely to end up dating men who make more than them. However most couples are pretty similar anyways.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/24 06:33 AM

Okay I see!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 03:02 AM

Since when do Chads go on Reddit?!
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 02:48 AM

Looks more like a creepy old bald guy mask.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/24 02:45 AM

Here we go again with height, dick size, and money 🙄 Us women may be shallow like men, but not usually in THAT way. It’s usually more the guy’s face and body shape overall and for some of us even their skin tone.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 07:34 PM

I think you’re generalizing everyone. Most men have physical attraction as a high priority, but not all men. And some women have physical attraction as a low priority, but many, maybe even most, of us have it as a high priority even if we won’t admit to it. Sounds like your GF picked you partly because she is physically attracted to you. Also getting in shape from not being in shape isn’t all that easy and men who do have physical attraction as a high priority also want someone with a face and h…
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 07:23 PM

Maybe just don’t cold approach those who are objectively a lot more attractive than you (like she’s in shape but you’re not) but try it on those more on your level? Also don’t cold approach while either one of you are on the job or on public transportation.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/24 02:44 AM
2

I lived in many different states, including California, Minnesota, and Texas, but I’d say I really only experienced that in my 6 months living in central Florida a couple years ago! It was mostly where the college kids were and Daytona Beach that made me feel insecure about myself, but also plenty of hot young guys there that were at least great eye candy just out in public like at the gym, or guys I danced with at a nightclub…even with them being at least a decade younger than me…
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 01:11 AM
1

You’re going from one extreme to another. And I don’t like really buff guys and don’t care if a guy is super rich or not, but a guy who is overweight and/or poor (as in no job or only works fast food or retail with no plans for anything more) because of his bad choices is a hard NO for me.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/05/24 12:39 AM
2

Nothing wrong with wanting and trying to look better than you already do, and there’s nothing stopping men from wearing any makeup, too. I have to wear at least tinted moisturizer on my face or else I look sick or sunburnt even when I’m not at all. And there are health benefits to some makeup, such as moisturizing the skin and some having SPF. As to bra’s - for most shirts and dresses I HAVE to wear at least a bralette or sports bra or else my nipples are sticking out of my shirt.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/05/24 03:46 PM
7

Agreed with you! Obviously looks isn’t everything for romantic and sexual, but I think more people than not deny how important it is since they don’t want to be seen as shallow. But it’s just human nature to want someone they’re physically attractive to.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 10:57 PM
0

Some things yes, some things no. If you still have hair on your head you have a lot of control of what it looks like, but unfortunately for a lot of men (and for us women who don’t like baldness in guys) they eventually don’t anymore even in their 30’s. Also weight and muscle is somewhat controllable but of course not usually that easy to change.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:12 PM
1

It’s more about looks and personality and common interests, just like with men towards women and all the other ways. Money and status would help with some women but it’s not as big of a deal as guys online will say. And with personality it’s about being respectful and matching the woman’s personality whether it be humorous or serious or anything else.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/05/24 07:09 PM
5

Obviously he meant genuinely physically attractive!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/05/24 07:05 PM
2

Definitely #1 - I’m not rich myself but still don’t care if a man I’m with is or not and definitely don’t want to date any guy more than 5 years older than me, let alone 20.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 06:03 AM
3

She’s average at best and looks much older than she is - not sure how much that can be fixed but guys would rather hook up with or date women who look young even if they’re older than them (I should know - I’ve always looked young for my age and have been able to hook up with many younger guys including up to 10 years younger than me) than ones who look homely and older but still in early 20’s, unlike what some men say.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/05/24 03:31 AM
2

I think it depends on the interests and how gendered they are. Like I have found it a lot better to be with someone who’s also really into the music scene and music genres I’m into but I wouldn’t expect and don’t care if he’s not into fashion and beauty products like I’m into.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/05/24 06:52 PM
1

Because being nice and friendly should be the bare minimum!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 05:43 PM
1

Also I read in another comment that you’ve cheated, think all women are okay with men cheating, and are never monogamous, which makes you way more of a loser than a man living with his parents but isn’t like that.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 05:21 PM
1

You’re one of the few men in this comment section who actually know and understand what women generally want!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 05:17 PM
1

I moved back in with my parents in my 30’s and lots of other people have, too, because of financial reasons and it doesn’t make someone a loser as long as they’re working and paying for everything else. Living with our parents now doesn’t mean it’s permanent anyways. Your judgmental self can fuck off!
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 05:07 PM
1

Again, I said MOST! 3/5 is most. And none of the options were the man being poor (at least for most areas $40K/year isn’t poor and most of us women also work anyways) or a “loser” so you’re just making shit up again, and you being okay with a man cheating as long as he’s rich says a lot about you and it isn’t good 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 03:31 PM
1

I’m not confused and I didn’t misread anything - MOST of your answers were to choose the rich, unattractive, cheating man over the more attractive, not so rich, non-cheating one. I wasn’t wrong that it’s all about the money to YOU just because your last one was a vague “both are okay” 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 02:42 PM
3

Of course a guy would (mostly falsely) assume it’s all about the money 🙄
/r/PurplePillDebate18/05/24 03:33 AM
3

Had to look him up - yeah, he’s very hot to me and my type (besides being TOO tall for me since I’m 5’2), but the guy you’re describing should grow out his hair like that bachelor guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/24 09:36 PM
0

He might be too busy and stressed out working in finance to either find someone to date or go on one. Or he might be considered too tall and too handsome for those of us who are much shorter and feel like he’s way out of our league. But also what some women consider handsome some don’t. Also what others have mentioned his personality just isn’t IT for whatever reason (could be boring, rude, anything).
