Great points. I will get over it with time this is just the first time in my life I look back on a mistake I made (or didn't make in this case) and have no idea what I could have done different to prevent this from happening in the future. Frankly, I'm terrified of female coworkers. Even though I've never had a problem with 99.9% of anyone I've worked with. Some of the best bosses I've had are women. I'm confident this will wear off with time, I've just never been so blindsided in my life. I rea…

It's a crazy world we live in. Further, it delegitimizes real sexual harassment. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to wrap my head around this. Best of luck with your son!

She was hoping you would sleep with her (obviously). I think you handled it well. Now she's mad because her manipulation attempt essentially backfired. Do not engage. Save the messages.

Infidelity is the only reason I can think she would be forced to pay for both parties legal fees. IANAL so who knows.

James Cameron does what James Cameron does not for James Cameron. James Cameron does what he does because James Cameron is James Cameron.

My child support is my ex's sole income source. You just gotta take this in the stain, brother.

Depends on how vindictive your STBX is and how much she can spend on lawyer fees.

Your first paragraph is categorically false.

We could start our own single father union. Get some lobbyists, change legislation to do away with partiality. Make the family court system as a whole more equitable and minimize child involvement in disputes.

My ex and her useless husband have lived off my child support for 11 years so I feel you. The best part is our daughter spends 99% of the time with me even though we have shared custody.

Hope your family is supportive. I could've never gone home during my separation.

Your wife has left, man. Accept it and start the process of moving on. It sucks. It's not easy. One day at a time.

This sub has made me so happy I got married in a no alimony state. The answer to your question is yes, btw. My MIL was an anesthesiologist and when they divorced due to unreconcilable differences, she had to pay alimony since she made quite a bit more than former FIL.

If she's really trying to kill you, that's a pretty ineffective way of going about it. The breaker will trip in the event of a short circiut. Doesn't mean she didn't do it, she just dumb.

I said the same thing until I tried it and I'm 33. You want a quick way to get over someone, this is how you do it.

Going through something very similar. One of the parts I can't stand is now I'm apparently a scumbag for ending a marriage that was unhealthy for all involved. No infidelity or abuse, we just grew apart over the years and has gotten to a point where we are roommates more than husband and wife. There is no real love in the marriage anymore. Like you, I also don't know what I want. I continue to wrestle with just settling and trying to make the best of a bad situation or cutting our losses and…
