Don’t. I’m female and here because I’m thinking about becoming a marriage therapist. My ex-husband has given me things since our divorce and I always feel kind of sick about it. It’s time to move on.

If it’s someone you work with laugh anytime they are mildly funny, smile a lot and ask them for help as much as possible and then compliment them for whatever they do.

You want to lean in toward them…now like right by them. You kind of want to seem like you don’t care at all but like your body should be leaning that way. Touch yourself a lot.. like your hair and waist and just be loving yourself and they’ll wish they had some of that.

I pretty much just smile a lot and bat my eyes. A little lip bite if you can pull it off. You kinda gotta make yourself feel turned on to make it authentic. You can touch their arm and stuff, too. Compliment them…

But why are you reaching out to guys?

Oh my god yes. So many men tell me how their exes has “OCD” or were perfectionists…and I tell them it sounds like they were just lazy and shitty at taking care of things.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/07/21 01:37 PM

And it’s even worse because now they have YouTube to teach them but they are too lazy.🙄

I feel you. I took one day off because I was so sick and he was unemployed…did he take over childcare duties so I could rest? No. No, he did not. And then I divorced his loser ass.

There’s always an excuse. My ex husband used his parents’ divorce as an excuse for every shitty thing he did. Dude, your parents are both still in your life and actively caring and supporting you. My dad completely left when I was 5 and you don’t see me abusing drugs and cheating on my spouse.

OMG and he is bipolar!? That means it is highly likely he will become unstable. My ex husband was bipolar and never spoke of violent fantasies, yet almost killed me when I told him I was leaving him.

Yes, olive skin tone here and deep set eyes. I have learned to love them. As long as my skin is hydrated, they look fine.

I had a child with him. Felt too old to start over (I was 30). Stayed until he held me down with a knife…that’s what it took. Ladies, if the love is gone, LEAVE. Once I left, my life became better than I ever could have imagined.

This is EXACTLY why many men ask for custody. That and they don’t want to pay child support. I have a couple guy friends that genuinely love time with their kids and I believe men like that deserve custody and it’s best for the kid. In my case, my ex is seriously mentally ill and I had to fight super hard to get custody. The courts always start with the idea that 50/50 is best.

I’m a single mom and homeowner. The amount of people asking if I’ll rent a room out or have my sister move in is so annoying. Why can’t I just live on my own?

I’m so sick of that bullshit! You are so right. Yes 99% of men swipe right on me but they are all repulsive. We have tons of options but we are looking for quality not quantity. Meet me where I’m at…oh wait 99% of men are deadbeat losers and the majority of women are attractive and have their shit together. It’s awful for us out there.

YES! I get it. I looked at my ex husband’s Instagram for a year after our divorce but… it is so much better for you to move on. Trust me. Put all that energy into YOURSELF. That’s the magic.

I got into poly as an excuse to date someone that wasn’t ready for a relationship. I feel like people use it as an excuse for shitty treatment…the person I like isn’t a great fit for me but if I have an open relationship, I’m not committing to that. Y’all deserve better.

Right! I dated a fuckboi of a man that told me he thought I was only dating him for his money…no you short bald fuck, I just wanted to take your boat out and drive your fancy cars haha. OK fine the money was his only redeemable quality. I could only handle a summer of it though. Barf.

I love you beautiful souls more and more every day. Life will be beautiful with our philosophy. And the crazy thing is that what most men don’t get is that THEIR lives would be 100000x better if they followed our philosophy! Respect women. Wow cRaZy concept. And then the world will blossom. I’ll just sit here and wait... while calling scrotes and pickmieshas out of course.

Haha a dude the other day was telling me how he would marry me if I wanted even though he doesn’t see the point. I was like...hell no! Share my fat ass retirement money with you? No boo. Time and time again studies prove marriage benefits men cuz it’s true. OBVIOUSLY. Keep leveling up queens! OMG also the look on his face when I said hell no. Men have been programmed to think all women want marriage. Now that we have instant access to research that shows how most marriages ruin women’s happiness…

100%. Women need to have financial independence no matter what. Women, ALWAYS have enough money saved in a SECRET place so if you ever need to leave a relationship, you can. Even if you think you are with a good man, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN. My ex-husband became violently bipolar (was not at the start of our 10-year relationship) and it was SO HARD TO LEAVE. Fortunately, we had completely separate bank accounts. Always have your own bank account and don't let him know what is in it. In fact, never t…

Studies show that after you have a child, the man actually does even LESS work around the house. https://www.pewresearch.org/social-trends/2013/03/14/chapter-6-time-in-work-and-leisure-patterns-by-gender-and-family-structure/#how-do-couples-view-the-division-of-labor-at-home

I agree. I am 34 and have teen boys hitting on me. We were told we’d be done for after 30 and honestly I’m looking forward to that but apparently we have to wait a lot longer to be left alone. I hate having to turn down a random street to avoid guys following next to me cat calling me. I’m a middle aged mom f* off! When I went on OLD there were only a few 31/32 year old (my age at the time) men that I found attractive. Most guys were awful. Clearly from their own neglect. If they treat themselve…

I think it’s weird in this day and age. It is 10000x easier to make ur own money than take care of a man baby for $$$. Like he really thinks he has skills sharper than mine?

Men always like to tell me how much more they get hit on with a wedding ring on but really, I know it is so much more than that. They are probably looking good because their wives are taking good care of them, picking out nice clothes for them, telling them to get regular haircuts/shaving, feeding them well, watching the children while they go to the gym, etc.

I am in the same boat. Last year during lockdown I became really obsessed with my aging skin and I went and had undereye fillers. One of the worst mistakes I have made. They looked bad and it was a complete waste of $600. Why can't people see the beauty in aging. Why do I feel like I need botox just to keep up?

I see beauty in aging. People are free to feel however they want toward it. I respect the wisdom that comes with age and I think it is a lovely thing. Someone once said that when the body fades away, it allows the soul to shine through.

Yes, I remember pretending to be interested in football just because I thought it was unfair that the men laid around like slugs. Now I happily support the women that are in the kitchen because they are more fun. I wish we could just cook for ourselves. I will take their plates when they are done and the elderly folks' plates but the young men can do it themselves.

I'm kind of lazy with my shower cleaning...maybe I give it a good scrub down once a month but like...it's never even looked as bad as the after picture. How does a shower get to this point?

Naw that whole ceiling thing and being past your prime is bs. I’m a single mom and men want to marry me all the time. I keep getting raises, have my own house, own car, excellent retirement. You just have to set your mind to it and you can accomplish anything you want! I also have a HVM partner that respects me, supports me, helps me with fixing things around my house, and I do whatever I want.

Also though, if you were ignorant and wasted your 20's in marriage (like me), don't be afraid to find yourself, travel, and work on your career in your 30's or beyond. No matter what age, you can always level up! I am the happiest and most attractive I have ever been in my 30's. I foresee it getting better and better.

When I went on BC at 19 is made me horribly emotional but when I started it at 32...it actually made my mood pretty stable and chill. I’m very happy with my BC right now but I’m going off because I don’t want to mess with my hormones.

This sub reminds me daily of the social conditioning that has restricted my power. With these reminders, I am courageous enough to stand up against misogyny and demand I be treated the way I deserve. There is strength in numbers and the work we are doing here is going to impact the world in a big way.

All this and you will be working full time and have full childcare duties. Been there. Divorced and even with full custody life is 1000x easier without him. We have the best most peaceful clean place and are closing on our own man free home in a couple weeks!

Not crude at all. Marriage is not about love. Love is its own thing. Marriage is a legally binding contract. If your man is not financially stable and you divorce without a prenup, you may need to pay HIM alimony. He is entitled to half of all you own. You may even be responsible for his debt. Even if I found a hella rich man, I don't see how I could trust him to marry him. What if he is secretly in debt? You never know.

Yes!!! I have my own house, car, pension, savings, career, pets and a beautiful daughter that I chose and don’t have to deal with men at all if I don’t want to. And I am choosy as fuck about who I have a relationship with. 100% independent but have incredible relationships and opportunities to make all my dreams come true. It is SO freeing to be like this. It wasn’t always this way. I know what it is like to be dependent on a man and it is HELL. My daughter will ALWAYS have a safety net of escap…

Yeah she needs to start writing down all the shit he puts her through. Divorce him and take the kids and get the child support to use for a babysitter for self- care nights...unless he’s a decent father then take the 50/50 and use the time to do some self care.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy30/03/21 12:36 PM

Yup. So don’t allow them to use you. Put all that energy into taking care of yourself and your friends and family that are there for you.

Right. My ex developed a serious mental health issue and got into drugs. It’s not mom guilt or resentment that causes me to keep my girl 100%. If he was healthy, he could do 50%. I still rely on grandparents and take time for me. I just believe she deserves a healthy and loving environment like all of us women.

Haha yes my ex has supervised visits like twice a month and on all his social media he states he is a single father. Okay, sure.

I have full custody which has allowed me no contact with ex and I get child support. His mom watches her overnight once or twice a week so I can enjoy my friends and boyfriend. He sees her then with his mommy to make sure he’s not doing anything weird. 🤪

Women need to ensure they have the option financially and emotionally to leave a marriage. Women too often feel like it’s impossible to leave or will be too difficult to make it on their own. ALWAYS have a secret stash of cash.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/11/20 05:52 PM
20

I believe a lot of it may have to do with not having the financial means to leave and an obligation to the children/pets. It seems easier emotionally for men to walk away from kids, pets, etc. and generally men aren’t dependent financially. Women often actually care about the children and pets and are sometimes financially dependent on their spouses so they can’t leave. Women need to always have enough money put away that allows them to leave if they want.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy05/11/20 05:48 PM

I agree with this advice for safety as well. The first time I left my husband, I did it secretly. The second time I didn’t give a f* and I let him know it and he almost killed me. You never know how men will react when you leave them. My ex was not previously very violent.

When I was dating, I straight up told guys I do thorough background checks of them before meeting them. I do not trust men. They always told me they don’t blame me haha. My girlfriends and I would also always tell each other when and where we were dating. We would share our location and text/call to check on one another during the date. Be safe!

I know that bothered me as well. He didn’t deserve any response at all. He sounds like the kind of guy that would shoot up a nightclub over lack of attention. So I don’t know what to do with those types. It’s just disturbing.

Yes and many of us don’t even stop to think if marriage and children are what we really want. If only I could talk to my younger self and tell her to stop wasting precious time giving any energy at all to men. I should have been putting that energy into bettering myself.

Yes, I was in a codependent relationship/marriage for 12 years. It was hard as hell to escape that and I’ve been working for the last 4 years to reinvent myself and find out who I truly and and really want out of life. I never had the confidence to be an interesting person growing up. I would rather be the supportive one to the interesting people. Well I have since discovered my worth and I’ll be squeezing the nectar out of life until my dying breath lol. No men necessary.

Yes, I know he is. He’s a long term commitment type of guy. This was kind of a unique situation for both of us. Hopefully, it work out okay. You never know. I’ll keep evaluating. I just settled so so hard last time and suffered 11 years of my life because of it. FDS is helping me.

Yes! I always used to date down in the looks department because I loved being the hot one in the relationship and thought it would make them stay. They still cheat! They might even cheat more because of their low self-esteem. Now I date men I am attracted to and thoroughly enjoy love making in a way I never thought possible. Woman absolutely ARE visual creatures!

Yes but this isn’t the case if you married a man without assets. In my case, I made way more money and when we divorced, half my assets were on the line. Fortunately, I could afford a lawyer and he was too lazy and broke so I was able to keep my stuff but if that had not been the case, I would be screwed.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/10/20 03:31 PM

I agree 💯. If marriage is what you want, that’s fine. I think this is more about if the man doesn’t give you what you want no marriage per say. I do NOT want marriage unless I meet a man and decide to be his homemaker. Then fuck yes I do because I need someone to be funding my retirement.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy07/10/20 03:29 PM

100% the reason why. It was the sunk cost fallacy. I was with him for so many years before marriage. I thought I was so old at 25 and could never start over. haha

I was married to a LVM and it felt exactly the same as when we were dating. Except I resented him more for not growing up. Lesson learned. Ladies don’t get engaged when you’re 22...your brain is not fully developed.

Don’t recommend unless you’re in a situation like mine but when I was married, I wasn’t against getting pregnant, just didn’t want to yet so for about 7 year we did the pullout method and I didn’t get pregnant once. As a single mom with “daddy issues” this shit hit deep. It took me a LONG time to realize this stuff was on the men in my life and not my fault. Having my father leave as a child was soul crushing and it took a long time for me to learn my worth. I was never treated with the respect I deserved because of HIM and ended up having a child with a man that didn’t treat me well. Now I finally love myself the way the men in my life should have and I attract HVM. It’s tough, girls but you deserve better…
