No, being confident won't automatically make you interesting. If you want to be funny and likeable, those are skills you can learn.

Lots of bad legal advice going on in this thread...

That's not my experience at all. Most couples I am friends with have pictures with their significant other on both of their pages.

I don't like how we approach issues like this. It's like a little boy jumping to the obvious, "I should be able to punch girls as well as boys" instead of the better "I shouldn't punch anyone." There should be no draft. Just because men are forced to sign up doesn't mean we need to spread the injustice to other people.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel 6.5 is the average and I'd be happy if I end up with a really fun and interesting girl who is just under average.

I think this is actually satire... The comments on the original blog post here all seem to think he's joking, but they (as I am) seem lost about what it is exactly. Kagin, who wrote the article, says in his next blog post, "It's a literary Rorschach test." So, whatever it is, it is definitely not a feminist advocating annihilation of men.

Er, I'm failing to see how there isn't a lot of equivalence.

I have no stats, but I will comment that very few women on college campuses are in relationships, so if you are in that age group, there's a thought.

Well, I disagree about those two, personally, but to each their own. It's more that I feel persistence in general is helpful.

Honestly, most of these are desirable traits, except letting someone punch you. I don't know what the big deal is. EDIT: That is of course dealing with the assumption that it's not an insane relationship. Both parties in a relationship should be accommodating. If only one party is, that's messed up.

Thanks, I grew them myself.

Well, all you can do is go forward and try to be the best father you can. Good luck. I know it's not fair that you have no choice over the fate of your offspring, but all you can do is move on.

Honestly, I feel that's why I was circumcised, and I have absolutely no problem with it. If my future son turns out to be gay, I'm sure he'll be just as non-passionate on the subject as I am, and as the vast majority of men are. Seriously, how many people do you know with strong opinions on the topic? The statistical likelihood of any future offspring of mine having a strong opinion on the matter is small. Also, I don't feel like it's cruel. Appeal is subjective. One culture's bodily modificatio…

I don't know. I'm pro-circumcision. It's an aesthetic thing. I feel like not circumcising your child will make there life worse with the ladies.

Honestly, it's you're call. Who am I to question you're values? But it doesn't seem to me like it would be worth it.

I know plenty of girls who go for that sort of thing, but every single person who doesn't will absolutely despise you. I've always thought arrogance is the easiest way to get people who don't know you to hate you, and basically all of my experiences confirm that. If getting women is worth alienating yourself from other people, by all means go for it, but I personally wouldn't.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
