Yeah. So is mine. She looks great at 49. The next time, I might just go for a nice 6 or 7. I'm sorry that you went through all of that.

My wife has been decent lately with the drinking and she isn't participating in dry January. But I know, the meanness will be rearing it's ugly head real soon. It always does. My youngest is a little bit younger than yours, so I would like to stick together for at least the time being. But I know the feeling all too well. I'm sorry that you are going through this.

I'm waiting until my youngest leaves for college which will be in less than 3 years. My wife is an attractive woman. I have finally reached the point that I don't even want to have sex with her. She will be drunk as usual. The lead up to sex with her always involves mean jabs towards me and/or my siblings. Touching myself in the shower is more safer and rewarding.

My wife's uncle became a first time father, of twins no less, at 54.

Just wondering, did she initiate the divorce? Or did you?

Drinking won't help long term. Try to find other stuff to do outside of the house during the hours that you normally drink. I'm not saying that you should give it up completely. You will eventually find someone that deserves you. You will deserve her. Your main priority are your kids. They will see what is going on. They will be lucky to have you. Be that guy.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
