That's not what I said.

In other words, women's love for men is more conditional than vice versa. So if we're going by the moral framework that we've established as a society, men's love for women is indeed morally superior considering conditional love is frowned upon from a moral perspective.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 03:28 AM

there are still a million other factors that you'd look at before thinking about how much money a woman makes for women though, how much money a man makes is one of the most important criteria
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 12:58 AM

money correlates with status and success, that's a big reason why women find it attractive (they mostly won't admit this though)
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 12:48 AM

men don't give two shits bout how much money a woman makes you guys gotta stop pulling the "men do it too" card whenever you feel it's convenient to your position
/r/PurplePillDebate11/07/26 12:45 AM
2

Point is women wouldn't start doing those things if men weren't there to do them anymore. Clearly men do provide a lot of value when you don't just look at them through the lense of a man hating internet and social media dweller.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/26 01:13 PM

Men build pretty much every house that you see, every road you drive on and install all the sanitary systems that you use every single day. Meanwhile you're sitting on your ass on reddit talking about "men provide nothing of value". Funny.

I don't think I need "data" to prove that the sky is blue either.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 01:14 PM

There's probably hardly any conclusive research to answer that question. But I live in society and I talk to people and observe their behavior and that's enough to draw basic conclusions in many cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 01:07 PM

Claiming that "every single study" points at the same conclusion on a specific topic is dishonest in itself. You'll never find that. Then again, there's plenty of research that suggests that people subconsciously associate traits like kindness with a person's level of attractiveness. I'm not going to bother digging up studies because you're just going to disregard them in one way or another anyway. That said, all of this doesn't really have that much to do with the main topic at hand, which is t…

Of course there are women who will reject men for these reasons. What I'm saying is it'll never be the reason why a man won't attract women at all. Clearly there are plenty of toxic men that have no problems with women whatsoever. Quite the opposite in many cases.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 12:35 PM

I disagree. Trends exist.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/07/26 12:33 PM

It definitely shows there are more women willing to sleep with toxic and violent men as opposed to women willing to sleep with unattractive, broke, low status men.

You're talking about blanket statements and then drop a deeply misandrist blanket statement in the same breath. They dont know about hard work or discipline. On top of that they are brats. They want the world to bend to them with little effort. They are toxic just perhaps in different flavors.

The results of our analyses reveal two broad findings. First, and in line with prior research, we find that there is a strong positive association between sex partners and antisocial behavior. Second, DAT1 explains variation in both number of sexual partners and in criminal conduct for males. Source: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19350760/ Every single study on the topic shows that people look for partners who are kind or generally exhibit pro social behaviors. Well, no.

I don't think the guy behind the movie thought about any of that crap. It's just the feminist interpretation.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 02:21 PM

It's a horror movie made for entertainment. Women nowadays manage to make everything about them and their supposed victim status. It's absolutely insufferable.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 02:13 PM
3

I think that's a very naive take brother. Women don't feel the need to "help" loser men in their direct vicinity for the most part, let alone people on the internet. Women want these men to stay where they are and not bother them. That's pretty much it.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/06/26 02:09 PM

Terrorize is a strong word. But it's quite obvious most women come here due to bitterness that they feel they need to dump on the lowest tier of men aka men who rot on forums and complain about dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 06:43 PM
14

Why do you think women spend time on this sub?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/26 04:10 PM
1

That's not what we were talking about at all. We were talking specifically about hateful content online. If you don't think anti-male content is a problem (which evidently you do not) then you're in no position to expect men to believe that anti-female content is a problem. Quite simple. The alternative is just admitting that you're a hypocrite.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 04:39 PM
1

I did. The fact that you think anti-male content as a concept is laughable while you wouldn't say the same thing about anti-female content à la Andrew Tate simply proves you're hypocrite who cares more about one group than another based on gender. Congratulations.
/r/PurplePillDebate25/06/26 04:28 PM
2

Most people who spend a substantial amount of time on reddit and other forums are probably under-socialized. The fact that you only point out men only proves you're a hypocrite with major double standards.

Ironically, the same men feeling crushed by gender roles are the very people who don’t want to listen to the ones saying fuck the gender roles. That's because telling men that they need to embrace their feminine side and express their feelings and so on is mostly feel good nonsense. Heterosexual women largely don't care for men who possess those traits. Of course, no woman here will ever admit that because it would render their whole narrative about what a man is supposed to be like in this day …
/r/PurplePillDebate24/06/26 11:29 AM

Feminist men are desired. Repeating these lies over and over is the reason why a lot of men don't listen to what women say. You're not doing yourselves a favor, really.

Well-adjusted people don't usually spend a whole lot of time derailing discussions on reddit and plastering them with personal attacks aimed at random people you've never met. Surely you just "like to debate". Have a good one.

Statistically speaking, a lot of women will end up single as well because there won't be a "good man" for every woman. Plus, a lot of women are opting out of dating too (although for different reasons). Having said that, women seem to be doing better staying single than men are.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 09:55 AM

I'm not saying there's no truth to what you're saying, but the current reality doesn't care much that offline dating is "better" or whatever. Dating apps are the most popular way date across virtually all demographics. Dating apps and dating are pretty much equivalent in 2026.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/06/26 09:47 AM

Most "dating" today is just people swiping on apps. Most of those people (especially men) are not having a particularly good time with it. What do you think about that?

Women settle for dudes they don't even like to fuck
/r/PurplePillDebate08/06/26 07:12 PM

It's not supposed to be an insult. Apparently most women are attracted to other women, so one would think it'd be easier to just date women rather than spending the whole day shitting on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/06/26 03:19 PM

Go date women then.

I'm trying to appease my ego? Your movement literally calls itself "feminism" in the big 26 while simultaneously trying to sell the idea that your trying to make lives better for everybody. A movement that exclusively talks about female-specific issues and very prominently loves to shit on men. You need the word "fem" plastered all over, but I'm trying to appease my ego for pointing out double standards. That's quite funny.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 03:37 PM

This entire post presupposes that whatever constitutes the leadership of the feminist movement at this point HAS any interest, purported or genuine, in addressing uniquely male issues. They don’t. That’s not what allyship means to these people. Why? Because they don’t believe those issues are worse than the issues facing women, if they exist at all. Exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 03:19 PM
24

By contrast, if you are a man who claims to care about men's issues, but you do not vote for services that will directly address men's issues, then you are just a man who jabbers on about a lot of complaints but doesn't actually do anything. Contrary to what you're saying, services that directly address men's issues largely do not exist in progressive policy. That's because progressive policy tends to universally view women as victims and men as perpetrators. To you, male-specific problems are n…

It doesn't matter much what Gloria Steinem argued in the 1970s. What does matter is the mentality that prevails in the broader feminist movement of today. And we can all see what kind of mentality that tends to be. You feeling obligated to argue against me in a combative manner and pull out a list of things that 5 people said 50 years ago is just further evidence for that. Its a non sequitur because the damn study says nothing about feminists at all. Stop it. Of course it doesn't. The study demo…

All your talking points are framed in a "progressive vs conservative" way as if I'm some confused conservative that just needs to vote progressive to finally help solve male-specific issues. I don't consider myself conservative and I have no interest in engaging in "progressive vs conservative" type of debates. All those examples of progressive policy that you mentioned aren't specifically aimed at a certain gender, further proving that feminists do not specifically care about men's issues, but …

Nature doesn’t care about fair. If we're using that line of reasoning then I could tear down the entire basis of feminism and women's rights just like that.

"Low wages for shit jobs" isn't a male-specific issue. Male-specific issues are: Suicide rate: Men are consistently three to four times more likely to die by suicide than women. Sentencing disparity: Data consistently shows that men receive significantly harsher sentences—and are more likely to be incarcerated—than women for the same crimes. Education: In 2021/22, only 40% of men in the UK were in higher education by age 19, compared to 54% of women. Grading bias: Multiple studies have shown gra…

19

I'll throw it right back to you: Why should men care about feminism?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/05/26 01:35 PM

What exactly were you expecting women to do? Nothing. The wording here literally is "Men need to...", not "Women need to..."
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 03:42 PM

And your contribution to this debate has been what? Accusing me of using AI and trying to invalidate my points by simply saying that they're invalid. Congratulations.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 03:36 PM

Examples can be found in this thread en masse. Ranging from "What problems are men dealing with exactly?" to accusations that I'm simply an angry redpiller trying to sabotage feminism when nothing I stated hints at that. The replies have quite literally proven my point perfectly. Even your first post in this thread was a cheap and combative straw man that essentially addressed none of the points I made.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 03:32 PM

There is a clear trend in society that puts a disproportional amount of focus on women's issues while men's issues are being sweeped under the rug. And the people who do a good amount of work in keeping that narrative alive are feminist advocates. In other words: Feminist advocates are actively undermining talk about male-specific issues because they view it as a threat to their own issues. Examples can be found right in this thread. I'm not a "redpiller" and I don't want to cut back on women's …
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 03:03 PM

That's an observation from my side. You sound pretty angry as well.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:53 PM

I've posted literal research and numbers in the original post. You addressed none of that. All that you've come up with thus far is: "Why do you view feminism as a threat bro?" Talk about making points...
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:46 PM

Are men who are struggle at all responsible for their lot in life or are they victims with zero agency at the mercy of others? It may sound simple on paper, but that's an extremely complex question that ecompasses various different facets of life (dating, academics, work, etc.) and thus can't be answered using a blanket statement. Would you be more specific?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:42 PM

I feel like your reading comprehension needs work. You are accusing me of things that I didn't do or say and adressed essentially zero points from the original post. Is that your idea of debating people?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:34 PM

Not much point in debating people who put words in my mouth and act extremely hostile from the get go, rather than referring to the actual points made in the OP.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:31 PM

You're putting words in my mouth. I said that men today are in no position to disproportionally cater to feminist efforts when they themselves are struggling immensely. Like I stated: Women tend to view it as a threat when male-specific issues receive attention. That's precisely why you're acting this hostile toward me when I haven't even done or said anything remotely demeaning to you personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:28 PM

Do you realize you're perfectly proving my point?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:22 PM

That probably depends on the individual situation. I wonder if you would've asked that same question if we were talking about female issues, though.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:21 PM

You sound angry. Why?
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/26 02:15 PM
1

I think the fall off for women often seems more dramatic because they go from being constantly showered with attention to living a more average, plain life with age. Men on the other hand mostly live plain lives to begin with, so it doesn't make too much of a difference when they go bald or get fat.
/r/PurplePillDebate15/05/26 09:42 PM
13

If you’re broke and not particularly attractive why would she want you? Exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 07:21 PM
5

Truth. Men today have their own issues that, in many cases, are more detrimental than women's. There's really no reason for men to disproportionally care about women's woes when they themselves are struggling massively. Look after yourselves, people.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/05/26 04:32 PM
4

Soft bigotry of low expectation. No, desperate men don’t care. Lmao. No, it's most men who don't care what car a woman drives or how much money she makes. Nothing to do with "bigotry". They just simply do not care.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 12:02 PM
6

Interesting how most people don't mind having "loser" friends then. Men don't care what car a woman drives or how much money she makes either. It's women who care about all that stuff when it comes to romantic relationships with men. Feminism had no effect on any of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/05/26 11:02 AM

American feminists dont care about gender roles Women will always look down on broke, unsuccessful, low status men. It doesn't matter how feminist they claim to be. That's because being an achiever has always been part of men's gender role. On the other hand, men universally do not really care about a woman's status or level of success because that's never been part of their gender role. I don't understand why women on here waste so much time trying to convince men of things that they know aren'…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/05/26 01:22 PM

I wasn't being rude. I just simply stated that I'm not going to make an effort and dig up statistics for someone who categorically tries to shut down any of the points I'm going to make anyway. I could dig up all the statistics in the world and you'd still ignore reality.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 10:40 AM

I don't care about any pills. If you can't have a discussion with me without the personal attacks and assumptions then go debate someone else.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 10:34 AM
6

I'm not going to make an effort and dig up statistics for someone who clearly doesn't even want to see reality. Fact of the matter is heterosexual women are widely known for ending up in marriages with men that they wouldn't even have looked at 10 years prior. It's called settling. You're implying that women ultimately don't really care about factors like physical attractiveness because "most married men aren't tall or attractive" without at all looking at the dynamics of those marriages and why…
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 10:26 AM

Close to 50% of marriages in the US end in divorce. Women initiate the vast majority of divorces. Sexlessness is also extremely common in married couples. That's because women settle for men they do not find attractive.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/26 10:11 AM

I'm honestly not sure you're fully understanding where I'm coming from. I'm not trying to take away your rights. To put it frank, I'm really just trying to explain why feminists today mostly consist of (angry) women and male bootlickers who want to score social points rather than receiving support from a broader range of people, especially men. I doubt this is going anywhere, but I appreciate you sharing your personal struggles and I wish you well (unironically).
/r/PurplePillDebate06/04/26 02:04 AM
5

You're comparing apples to oranges. Slavery or segregation really don't have much to do with any of what I said. Seems rather cheap to draw that comparison on the backs of people who have endured great suffering in an attempt to paint me as something that I'm not. For men, it is simply counterintuitive to support the feminist movement in its modern form. That's really all I said. I didn't say that men should push to revoke women's rights. I didn't say that we should all push for traditionalism. …
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 09:24 PM
11

Exactly. If women now have access to all those things, then what's stopping them from dating a man that's currently jobless? Women approach men with the same expectations that they did pre-emancipation and this is a classic example. It's precisely what I tried explaining in the original post. You just decided not to listen and throw personal attacks.

Dating in the private sphere really is a completely separate issue from wanting liberation and respect in the public sphere. Except it is not. A man being expected to carry an exclusive financial burden goes directly against the ideas of equality and egalitarianism in public life. You complain a lot about the traditions men created, such as organising the flowers and date on Valentine’s Day, buying the ring and proposing, and so on and so forth, so how is it bad that women want what you created and upheld for centuries? Lmao. This doesn't deserve a single response.
/r/PurplePillDebate05/04/26 02:06 PM

Water is wet. Women will flood this thread with either one of these two: Claims that it's not true and that they actually do embrace equality all the way and don't expect a man to pay for XYZ (mostly lies) "Men buying me flowers and financing my lifestyle doesn't actually have anything to do with equality. You don't understand feminism."

The majority of men who have violence committed against them bring it on themselves for being involved with dangerous activities. I could also say a lot of women "bring it on themselves" for being involved with violent and toxic men. No one wants to hear anything about that though. Accountability gap.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 04:08 PM

I agree. Why does it only become a "boring-ass suffering contest" as soon as men join the pity party though? Why did society give women a free pass to complain 24/7, but as soon as men start doing the same thing, it turns into a suffering contest and they're told to "stop whining bro", etc.? Quite interesting, isn't it.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 04:02 PM

I'm not sure about the first point actually. I think a lot of men would say things are more difficult for women because that's simply the current zeitgeist that many people accept without question. Things have slowly been starting to change in that regard though.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/26 03:56 PM

No. Most women living in the US have not been threatened, assaulted or exploited in a serious way more than men have. Your victim complex might tell you that, but reality is different.

There's been a few decades between the 1950s and today. Gotta get with the times.

Yeah. It was the day that you received all the same rights that men have and then some.

You're just ranting about random stuff that has nothing to do with the original post. No need to debate further.

There is no "patriarchy" in western society. We're not in Afghanistan.

I pointed that out myself in the original post. Men committing most of the violent crime doesn't directly have anything to do with men or women having it worse, which is what I was talking about.

You're making the case that in such scenarios, the reason women do not leave tends to universally be them being afraid of violent escalation, which is simply not true. You're ignoring the fact that in many such cases, women simply choose toxicity over boredom.

Saying women can “just leave at any moment” ignores how those dynamics actually work. Leaving is often the most dangerous point. This is where I disagree. For the most part, leaving clearly is the least dangerous route to take considering it implies that you're actually cutting ties with the source of abuse. Saying women can't be held accountable because they're "emotionally invested" is just another internalized double standard. One could say the exact same thing about men who stay with women t…

I see where you're coming from. Thing is, cases where people have to seriously worry for their lives are statistically extremely rare. For the most part, those relationships are a result of women seeking out and staying with toxic men when they could leave at any moment. Just like there are many men who actively choose and stay with women that use them in one way or another. Bringing up the most extreme of examples won't do away with the hypocrisy.

Very true. Same goes for women who stay with men that are violent and abusive. Men aren't the problem. Women need to set boundaries.

There's lots of things one could criticize men for. I'm just saying talking points like the "man or bear" thing stem from a desire to portray oneself as a victim through blunt sensationalism rather than being a valid form of criticism, or a tool to cause meaningful change in society.

Makes sense. Although that seems like the thought process of a child more than that of an adult human being.

Statistics =/= racism You can't call it racism when it's about race while refusing to call it sexism when it's about sex.

Wherever it came from, feminists went with it and keep using it to prove a point to this day. I see it on instagram all the time. That's why this post exists.

Stupidity tends to breed more stupitidy. And of course, the original argument that started it all was extremely stupid.

More? I doubt it. Either way, you act as if it's surprising that men responded accordingly to such silly polemics. If someone started a viral debate that goes "Would you rather live with a woman or a debt collector?" that serves no purpose but to make women look like leeches that extract money from men, I'd expect women to respond accordingly too.

I don't have access to the full paper, but this is what that study you referenced concluded: We found that disease cues and attractiveness, but not sexual arousal, influenced disgust. The results suggest that women feel disgust at sexual contact with unattractive or diseased men independently of their sexual arousal.

Quite frankly, I'd consider what you just said to be a blatant lie. Still, if we assumed it was true: The guys I see in those relationships don't usually have outstanding personalities or qualities that aren't tied to their appearance. They're "regular type dudes" in both looks and personality. So where does that all that attraction for regular guys suddenly come from when it clearly wasn't there 10 years earlier?
