WellBuiltStyle.com. He's also on twitter and shows lots of useful examples of do's and dont's. But basically: 1. Be in shape 2. Wear clothes that fit 3. Keep it simple

This sounds like Buteyko breathing. The best book I've read on it is The Oxygen Advantage by Patrick McKeown.

Read the Charisma Myth, which will give you an understanding of what charisma is (and isn't). I think the author has also done a TED talk if you're lazy.

He's referring to the r/K selection theory. From an evolutionary perspective, people from sub-Saharan Africa for example tend to have more kids because conditions are harsher and they are less likely to survive; they will also be less nurturing. That is in contrast to Europeans who have less kids but invest more in their upbringing.

I'll tend to purposefully reference something from my younger days and see if she gets it. From there I'll just tease her about how young she is and ask for "proof" like her driving license. If she's still reluctant I'll continue teasing about how bad the photo must be, but you have to keep it all light hearted. You can usually judge if she's purposefully hiding something and act accordingly.

Firstly you're not being bullied but you are being a bit of a dick. It is never worth pissing off your colleagues unnecessarily. One of the 48 laws of power cover this: "Think as you like but behave like others" or something like that. Most companies don't care if you work smart only if you work 'hard'. You have a few of options: Take on the extra workload, work your ass off making sure you can prove it is you that's done the work and then ask for a raise. If possible make yourself indispensable…

That's like trying to compare apples and oranges; they serve different purposes. TL;DR stoicism is about managing your emotions, charisma is about being a charming motherfucker.

Don't throw it in their face but don't lie about it either. Just be a bit vague. If I'm out with another plate, I'll tell the one I'm just out. If pressed: "With no one you know". Sometimes I'll say something like "don't ask questions you don't want the answers to". It's not a bad way to instil a bit of dread without being explicit.

There's no quick answer, you just have to believe in the 'alpha' approaches and ways of doing things (I don't particularly like the alpha and beta terminology either). Think about and test out methods for yourself to see what is true and what works and add it to your knowledge base. Alternatively 'fake it till you make it'. Eventually when you've internalised these beliefs they will seem so obvious you'll wonder how you could have thought any differently.

Do you have a link to the study? The Atlantic Monthly recently reported on a study in which individuals would rather administer electric shocks to themselves than sit alone in a room with their thoughts. This sounds sensationalist and I don't trust the integrity of the media.

Thinking of SJWs like a religious following makes a lot of sense, and helps explain why they do a lot of things that aren't in their own self interest. The themes of this post are very much in line with Shadow Men by Dr Anthony Napoleon. I'm only about a third of the way through it, but would recommend it as additional reading based on what I've read so far. Here is the description: Psychological operations (PSYOPs) are the preferred method by which shadow men socially engineer the masses' conse…

Mindfulness in Plain English In a lot of ways this was like my Red Pill before the Red Pill. To quote: “There you are, and you suddenly realize that you are spending your life barely getting by. You keep up a good front. You manage to make ends meet somehow and look okay from the outside. But those periods of desperation, those times when you feel everything caving in on you – you keep those to yourself. Meanwhile, way down under all of that, you just know there has to be a better way to live. A…

Try taking a few Improv classes. It'll help improve your quick wits, by encouraging you to disenge from that voice in your head. It'll also help with social awareness and confidence in public spaces. I'm not into theatre or any of that stuff, but did it to expand my comfort zone. It ended up being a lot of fun and very funny.

This is a common problem. Unfortunately the best advice is "just do it"!!! The technique I use is the 3 second rule, where you have to approach in, you guessed it, three seconds. What makes this a good trick is, by counting to three in your head, you're not thinking of anything else. Not what to say, what she's going to say if you are going to succeed or not. It brings you into the current moment. Then just go (or count as you cross the room dependent on distance), and you'll gain enough momentu…

I disagree with your definition of Black Knighting. I think GLO's definition is closer to the truth: A Black Knight is someone who pisses women off for entertainment. Also your gym example only highlights that some people are dicks. A lot of people regardless of gender try to get away with as much as they can assuming that other people don't want a confrontation and/or the hassle of kicking up a fuss. You also lose any validity in your shopping example by referring to a woman as "an old bitch" w…

I'm going to go against the grain here, and say the guy has a point. In modern society the ideal shape to aspire to has become a lot harder to achieve. Check out the difference in Hugh Jackman in the first X-Men in 2000 and the latest one in 2014 "But he's a superhero, he's meant to be bad-ass." Maybe but what about Sean Connery and Daniel Craig? Dunno if they are catered to men specifically but the only two romantic dramas I'm aware of that are in anyway realistic are Blue Valentine and Like Crazy. Hard to describe why without spoilers, but in the former an alpha dude knocks up his gf and stays by her. She eventually begins to resent him for not becoming her beta bucks. The latter is about the pursuit of your first love to the detriment of the rest of your life.

Yes! As soon as I saw the thread title I thought of him. Used to like him as an actor, but can't take him seriously now. As Matt Damon recently said (and was subsequently taken to town by SJWs for homophobia), the more mystery surrounds your private life the better actor you can be.

That's how I felt after season 2. For me the enjoyment was watching Frank climb the ladder. Trying to stay at the top doesn't have the same appeal , which is why they introduced this tension sub plot between him and Claire.

This ties in with what was recently brought up on another thread; the opposite of love isn't hate, it's indifference. When people start throwing insults they are looking for a reaction, so don't give them one! It completely takes the wind out of their sails, and is the best way to come out ahead. Usually they keep going till they defeat themselves. I've come across people so desperate for attention they don't care if it's good or bad, and will try and make people not like them. Indifference is l…

There is a difference between being an orbiter and a friend. In the BP there isn't a distinction so when a guy mentions a girl "friend" he is usually simply orbiting. Having said that one of my closest friends is a girl. I don't want to fuck her and she doesn't want to fuck me. Whilst some girls I date raise an eyebrow if you keep solid frame it isn't a problem. It can even instil a bit of dread game.
