In most mammal species, the males are usually the bigger ones. The only exception I can think of is the African spotted hyena. In other species such as birds, snakes, and insects, the females are often the bigger ones.

No one is downplaying the rape of women. Pretty much every major subreddit talks about that. Which article states that it isn't illegal to rape women in India? You can go to jail for 'rape under false pretext of marriage' even if you have a consensual relationship with a woman but then break off for whatever reasons. The average sentence for rape is between 8 to 20 years, depending on the severity of the crime. This man spent 20 years in prison over a false case.

Because the Indian law doesn't even consider rape of men a crime. Also, cases where the victim is a woman are more likely to get international attention. Had the genders been reversed, cases such as this would have gained international attention as well.

Again, not publicly. Not blaming the victims, but those guys were camping in Jharkhand - a region known for Maoist insurgency. Such regions usually lack law and order.

There were eight people on the bus. Six of them were the perpetrators, while the remaining two were the girl and her boyfriend. How is that supposed to be 'public'? Your original statement sounds like people just rape each other on busses, and the rest of the passengers just watch.

I was taking a walk and came across this random girl and a loose dog. Though the dog was friendly, the girl immediately got behind me, a total stranger, because she was scared of the dog. Surely they will choose a bear irl.
