The Daryl Davis method is often championed by white supremacists because it encourages compliance and non-resistance. What he did was good but the idea of trying to replicate that on any kind of scale is a total pipe dream, and in practice is indistinguishable from doing nothing. If you go in to a radical space with open arms you’re more likely to be radicalised than change anybody’s mind.

I don’t really care about losing my cool. Subs like this are a major contributing factor to the recent radicalisation of young men - radicalisation which has resulted situations a such as the Roof case - and engaging in debate with the ideas they push just creates the false impression that those ideas have merit to begin with. If you’re more concerned with issues of civility than the deliberate spread of this type of propaganda then you need to seriously examine your priorities.

Here in the UK sanitary products are taxed as ‘non-essential’ items. Period poverty is very much a systemic problem in multiple countries even if the average person doesn’t give it much thought or ‘have a problem with it.’ Also that title is trash.
