| 2 | The pick up community has become pretty famous on the internet, has anyone ever tried to pickup a girl with canned routines and she knew exactly what you were doing? My boyfriend and fellow redditor only just noticed I subscribe to this subreddit. He chuckled and asked why. Since my subscription predates our relationship by a solid year.... Mainly to identify PUA techniques while I was single. And yes, I called out one or two. Others I just played along out of sheer amusement. | /r/seduction | 28/12/12 02:29 AM |
| 3 | [deleted by user]I'm a chick. This has been extremely effective on me when I was out on the dating scene. | /r/seduction | 18/02/11 01:45 AM |
| 2 | [deleted by user]Ah and this is where you have to read body language. If I'm not digging you then the assertiveness is just you being a dickhead. You have to balance genuine interest in me to make it work. Don't assume I can't think (as in pick my drink for me). Each girl is going to have a different limit too. It's part of your confidence that makes it attractive. Unfortunately there's a really fine line between confidence and douchebaggery. | /r/seduction | 18/02/11 01:42 AM |
| 11 | [deleted by user]To answer for myself, with what has worked in a pick up sense (not a LTR), I can attempt to help. I'm attractive with a Type A personality: LEARN TO READ BODY LANGUAGE. That's the single biggest thing I can stress because most of the items that have worked with me require confidence, knowing how to keep my interest and touching at appropriate times. This is a very nuanced issue and can easily turn creepy if not done at the right time (hence the need for being able to read body language). What pi… | /r/seduction | 17/02/11 09:50 PM |

| 1 | Trends I've Noticed While Clubbing Over the Years...My sis and I had an entire brainstorming session one evening. This was the best of the lot. | /r/seduction | 24/01/11 07:06 PM |
| 3 | Trends I've Noticed While Clubbing Over the Years...I'm a chick. ;) Perhaps I should have called it twat swatting? | /r/seduction | 24/01/11 05:03 AM |
| 1 | Should you tell one girl that you have a date with another girl?No explanation. Just suggest a night that works for you. Period. When you offer explanations it sets the tone of giving explanations for the future. Right now you owe her nothing (and she owes you nothing). Just ask her out for a night that's convenient for you and make no comments otherwise. | /r/seduction | 24/01/11 01:04 AM |
| 10 | Trends I've Noticed While Clubbing Over the Years...Sadly I've experienced this set of cock blocking by my taken girlfriends who are just plain jealous of their still single friends. And I should add, I'm not into 1 night stands...they interfere with something as simple as getting a number! | /r/seduction | 24/01/11 12:53 AM |
| 1 | A man, suffering from liver failure, owed $30,000 in back child support. They took most of his paycheck (his children were adults). He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."I actually do realize that a lot of men are very responsible with their child support. Oddly enough I have a lot of male friends that I counseled through their divorces. I would tip them off about things like getting 40% visitation (the magic number here in Florida). It's just that there are even more that don't pay. Thanks for the well wishes. I am fortunate enough to have a job that covers what's needed. We have health insurance and I own my home with an affordable mortgage. In today's environ… | /r/MensRights | 11/11/10 01:49 AM |

Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."I'm not sure how things are in the different states, but in Florida the noncustodial parent can file for a change in support and submit a new financial affidavit. Even before I went through this myself I worked in HR and actually helped several fathers that were on reduced incomes work out more equitable child support orders. | /r/MensRights | 09/11/10 01:06 AM |

So many people feel like child support is some sort of punishment or way to inflict pain on the other instead of just owning up to the responsibility of the child - the child who has no choice in the matter. | /r/MensRights | 09/11/10 01:03 AM |

He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."See I am fully prepared to raise my child solo. I have life insurance and am doing it all on my own. I agree that someone who is terminally ill should have a different circumstance than someone who is healthy and can work. This story is such an anomaly! But, if you have a child then you should be responsible for it. Both parents. Period. Part of that responsibility is preparing for going solo, but part of that responsibility is doing what is right. | /r/MensRights | 09/11/10 12:57 AM |

He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."The court can order child support until their blue in the face, but if the other parent refuses to work or chooses to work under the table then there is nothing that comes to the custodial parent. The court only acts as disbursement center, collecting funds (from paychecks) and resending it. Florida has this concept of shared parental responsibilities and they factor in the number of overnight visits the child has with each parent, along with the among of income for each parent. You assume that … | /r/MensRights | 09/11/10 12:51 AM |

He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."I think my whole problem with this article stems from the fact that it is a rare situation and undermines the efforts of the every day single parent (mom or dad). All the remarks from this thread shows a huge ignorance of how the system really works and a very real stereo typing that happens...even among the educated. | /r/MensRights | 09/11/10 12:39 AM |

He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."Actually I'm a college graduate that has always worked full time. I returned to work less than a week after having my son and, at times, have held down 2 jobs in support of my son. I take care of my son and myself and am not complaining. I was simply stating that there was a third, innocent party that would benefit from the involvement of the other responsible party. | /r/MensRights | 08/11/10 09:49 PM |

He couldn't feed himself; his lack of nutrition and illness were killing him. Their response: "We don't care; go ahead and die."I agree completely. Yes there are anecdotal stories of the system skewing way off, but as a single mom who hasn't seen a dime of child support I find I have little sympathy for the plight of the noncustodial parent. At least in Florida child support is based on a mathematical formula that factors income and visitation. It can even be waived in cases of job kids if the parent makes a modicum of effort. It doesn't change the fact that there are a ton of deadbeat parents (both moms and dads) that a… | /r/MensRights | 08/11/10 11:51 AM |
