Well...you're welcome to stay or go, but atleast please give the names to the mods, it's bad enough we already have a smeared reputation, we don't need our own subs furthering that.

Wait who PM'd you? Give their name to one of the mods in the sidebar. I'm not really reading you as a blatant bigot or anything you don't deserve that. Whoever did needs to be banned. Sounds like manhood academy with that "real man" bullshit. Who the fuck decides what a "real man" is any fucking way. (this is assuming you didn't make that up)

Men don't have the choice to abort children, men aren't allowed to abandon their children like women, and even if a man does adopt, we live in a social climate where a single man adopting a child is cause for concern. Women have it so hard ;_; /s

What feminists don't like to acknowledge is that many hardcore religious in the US happen to be women, and oppose abortion. But fuck rationality, its all "teh evil menz fault!! ;_;".

limit sex Who? Last time I checked, casual sex is "cool" and openly promoted in television. Many countries have sex education classes as early as middle school. Society doesn't really seem to put many restraints on female sexuality to me. Feminists:"SOCIETY PUSHES SEX ON WOMEN!!" Feminists:"SOCIETY IS PRUDISH AND DOESN'T CELEBRATE SEXUALITY OF WOMEN!" God I hate feminism.

Feminism, as a movement and at its purest, is geared towards equality, correct? The same way nazism at its purest is about zionism.

Religious? If anything we're pretty anti-religion given that alot of discrimination against men is rooted in religion, particularly the traditionalist notions of male disposablility. And right wing? The fact you're trying to apply a political label to a rights group which covers the entire spectrum tells me two things. You're an idiot caught up in american bi-partisanism and that you don't know shit about the MRM. Either educate yourself, or peddle your ignorance elsewhere.

It's called standing up for yourself. Alot of people get taken advantage of because they just sit and passively allow it to happen. Officers are only paid to protect you, without them alot of people would be up shit creek without a paddle. Every person has a duty to themselves to learn to protect themselves. Or I think so anyway.

I think back to the 2008 election, and realize we might have actually dodged a bullet with the fact Clinton didn't win. Obama might be the whitest of knights, but atleast he's not the woman who said the real victims of war are women, despite the fact women don't fight in wars, either historically or by any measure of anything that can be construed as a majority. The way women, even when not in positions of power are still able to wield power is terrifying when you think what the common result is…

The message should be, don't let others harass you, if you are harassed, let an officer know. But on top of this message, they have male vilification and female victimhood tacked right on with that. That's the problem. I didn't read too much into it because I didn't get that notion from reading the ad, but by the very fact that all the perpetrators in the ads were men where the victims were women. It's in the very pictures. A picture is worth a thousand words.

Also on their site is a "personal space word game" where you search a letter grid for words such as "harassment", "police", "speak up" and "stop". I'm not sure what's the point of that, maybe it's "empowering" Apparently feminists have mixed up their definitions of empowerment and fear mongering.

Like ghebert001 said we don't know the story. But being either a woman or homosexual is not a free pass to physically harm others, nor is it a free pass from rightful retribution should that person decide they are immune to retaliation. It breaks down as simple as this, unless you're a child, and you hit me, I will hit you back twice as hard.

Hate to break it to you, but mutilating a babie's genitals does not even begin to compare to someone's devotion to wearing the same piece of clothing everyday. What you intend to do to your children is wrong, its evil, and its barbaric. No one is going to pull punches with you here if you think mutilating babies is a normal thing.

Or that killing one person to save a thousand is all right. In this situation, I think I would torture one person to a miserable bloody death if I KNEW that it would save many more lives. This is a common moral challenge question, which I personally see as a no-brainer. The thing is though the current child support system could be improved to you know, actually support children, not vengeful ex-spouses. Comparing rape and catcalling? I mean really? Rape is a verifiable and easily provable crime. Do a rape kit, take testimony. Cat calling can be EASILY made up on the spot, or even subjectively perverted from "hi, how are you?" to "OFFICER THEY UPSET ME ;_;". Legislation like this only causes fear and hysteria in a world where we already are scared as hell of each other. We live in a world of stranger phobia, shit like this just piles it on. There are a few sane people in there thankfully. And maybe the reason that is, is because people make posing nude so rare, it is a novelty, not that we just view it as sexual. Yes!! Officers should never arrest anyone based solely off a single accusation, to do as much is completely ridiculous. Now if they have witnesses, that would be different. Objectification is now just a hut button buzzword made popular by feminists working day and night to ensure unquestionable female victimhood. No one really stops to think about the word, they just blurt it. Objectification. Let's think here(no wonder feminists can't figure it out), to treat someone as less than human to the point of being an object, bound to the will of the beholder. I have to disagree. They aren't the same. But the damage that kind of talk can cause can be worse. It's different for every person. Some people can't handle rejection like that, some people can't handle getting their teeth knocked in. And vice versa of both. Not surprising, men are expected to live up to a maturity standard women aren't we live in a society that coddles women and lives up to all their desires and expectations, NEVER the other way around. Women can curse, scream, be violent, and no one has an issue, she's just being "strong and independent". The second a man gets a little out of hand he's a danger to others and himself, this is magnified if a woman is involved. Women in our society are encouraged to act like children, and most do.

No one needs a history month for being born a certain way to celebrate achievements they have no claim to. You're not Thomas Eddison anymore than any average black guy you meet isn't Martin Luther King Jr. "Pride months" are an exercise in narcissistic masturbation of something you're falsely attempting to take credit for. It's a sad fucking joke, and insult to those whom actually achieved those things you're attempting to celebrate and take credit for simply because you share a common character…

One thing about privilege (be it race, gender, or sexual) the privileged will change the rules in whatever ways allow them to maintain dominance and a feeling of moral superiority. This is exactly what feminists do. When the situation doesn't fit for them they stretch and pervert the definition of this or that so it does.

I think I may do just that. Edit: The regendered version. That first paragraph is the best part I think, nice hook. Gonna copy into a word document edit it appropriately then submit as text. I sincerely can't wait to see the reaction. Edit2: http://www.viewdocsonline.com/document/78faia Tell me what you think of it, little edits here and there, to make it flow and make sense. Feminism is selfishness, in the same way mens rights is selfish about men. The same way every human being is selfish about their own self preservation, their in-born instinct to look after their own interests. The problem with feminism is that it claims that its more than just about women, that is a fat fucking hairy lie. Furthermore feminism doesn't know where to stop, rights? How about privileges, responsibility? how about passing the buck and vilification, equality? how about women first men …

You know what that reminds me of? Charles Manson. Same kind of pyschopathic pleasure from violence by proxy. Same amount of remorse, none. This bitch is insane, she needs a serious sentence, but oh wait, she won't get that, she won't be held to the same standard, she'll be coddled like a child, she'll go into the courtroom cry like a child tell them all about that mean evil man who hurt her feelings and justify what she did. Deciding age of consent is alot like deciding the age at which a personal is magically mature enough to drink alcohol. Any person with half a brain or any life experience knows everyone matures at a different rate to deal with the world in a mature fashion. Many kids today are forced to learn to be adults before they're legally recognized as actual citizens due to circumstances they can't help. Female serial killers, or even just your "average" killer who kills maybe one or two people for various reaons, tend to choose either children, or the elderly, the common pattern is women when on a killing spree, target the weak, and those who can't defend themselves.

Amido espoused the opinion that maxwell44 can't handle women being criticized and like many feminists wishes to dismiss and call it misogyny. Maxwell44 responded with an angry and emotional response because he touched a nerve, he hit the nail on the head and maxwell44 knows it. In the context of a 5 word sentence, maxwell44 confirmed what amido believed to be true. Oh shut the fuck up. He doesn't even want to hear that women can be criticized. I don't think it can be broken down much simpler.

Haha, oh god. How much narcissism does it take to be generally criticized as a group, but then have the gall to say, "well you're just petty to think you're allowed to criticize me". Well, I see what you're saying in regards to more personal things like shit from facebook. "look how dumb my friends are", etc. But I don't think people spreading hate through opinionated pieces on the internet should get a free pass. These same people are usually pandering to a very volatile and hateful group just looking for something to justify their hate, and if its directed at men, we're obligated in the interests of the rights of men to expose it. But this is all just me, I certainly don't…

I whole heartedly disagree. Malicious bigotry and prejudice should be hounded and harassed where ever it is. If someone wants to spread hate, they damn well better know people will respond in kind, and just because they are women does not excuse that.

So highlighting the ignorance and sexism against men in soceity is somehow no longer relavant? It doesn't help that a great deal of misandry comes from women exclusively, there's an entire ideology dedicated to female supremacy which, naturally, comes at the disadvantage of men. So when you see alot of women doing bad things posted somewhere dedicated to rooting out injustice against men, is the issue really that its being highlighted or that its women are being highlighted as doing this? Really…

When ever I've seen feminists argue the issue of conscription/selective service, they usually pass it off like they do violence. They brush it under the rug with the excuse "well its bad either way, so it doesn't matter". Just vague pathetic excuses to avoid the argument. The issue of conscription/selective service and the way feminism goes out of its way to dodge it, is just another example showing feminism isn't about equality, its about female privilege.

Shit like this doesn't make me sad, it doesn't slightly bother me. IT PISSES ME THE FUCK OFF! People always bring up an analogy about this when ever its brought up. How no one would ever post signs or adverts in african american communities that tell them not to commit crime because that would be racist to make that assumption and remind them. The difference is the MRM actually goes out its way to denounce those like MHA, and MHA wields no power comparably the same way the mainstream MRM has. IMO a feminist who rejects all the harmful flaws of feminism, but embraces all the ideas of equality, rationality, humanism, and has no bias but still stubbornly claims the label of feminism, is just a humanist who's been tricked into the line of thought of "you're either with us or against us, and if you're against us, you're downright evil". This type of person wouldn't even want to be thought of as evil.
/r/MensRights15/07/12 08:51 AM

Another key difference is intent/action. The MRM supports equality, but does not actively fight for the rights of women, or transsexuals, the MRM is a rights movement, by and for men, of course accepting of those who aren't men. Feminism, not only claims to be a movement in the name of rights for women, but also wants to pretend its about equal rights when its painfully apparent it's only interest is the rights of women. This hypocrisy, is one of the most harmful flaws of feminism.

If not for that feminism, no group even, would be able to pass their ideologies and views into law with the money in their pocket.

It's misogynist because it views women as inferior and worthy of abuse, manhood academy is one small short step from being /r/beatingwomen. Manhood academy is also highly homophobic, and a tad racist. You disgusting fucks do more damage to the MRM than any psycho rad fem could possibly hope. I say this sincerely, die in a fire.

You would be right except people like Paul Elam don't exactly have opinions that carry huge weight within society, neither do I know of any MRM lobbying groups, meanwhile feminism infects nearly every single important decision made in society in some way or another. The fact is the MRM doesn't affect any meaningful social policy past changing definitions in a dictionary.

Interesting thing about feminists, its never the "true" feminists, or the "good" feminists who inform social policy, legal policy, help pass legislation which advantages women over men, or just plain disadvantages men, and precede to stomp all over anything MRM related like its a fucking bug. Apparently all the "good" feminists have their heads up their asses.

That would be great, but manhood academy is very misogynist, and not welcome here.

Is the hypocrisy somehow lost on a feminist desiring a matriarchy yet complaining about an imaginary patriarchy being the constant source of every woe of women? Edit: MAN, that wabond guy doesn't know when its time to STFU does he?

Given some of the garbage that's spewed there, it would probably be like trying to intellectually debate with SRS.

That is extremely alarming.

"even with all the evidence we have that something's not quite right with the male of the species, there is still impenetrable resistance to focusing on men's behaviour and asking: what is it about men?" Typical mindless radfem "I don't support violence from anybody to anybody: men, women, anybody," she said. "How am I vilifying anybody, really?" Even when the evidence of their bigotry is written, bound, and copied again and again, they don't want refuse to acknowledge their bigotry. People unde…

The fact you can't grasp the concept of how society can force a way of thinking, and by extension set of actions on someone indicates I'm arguing with an idiot. Done. Enjoy your xenophobia.

While I believe in equal rights, I don't think abolishing all gender norms is a good idea......In practice, it means rootless and confused rather than free men and women. You're contradicting yourself. You can't say you believe in equal rights when your own ideas on gender "roles" basically says fuck you to those who don't fit societies gender roles. Ex: homosexuals, transsexuals(in particular), and those who identify as gender queer that may break from the norm of gender roles. A great deal of …

Go back to manhood academy. We don't want or need closed minds in the MRM.

So saying something is worse than rape is defending it? Really? By that logic you're defending genocide.

"most heinous crime imaginable.." Yes, because chemical warfare and genocide aren't actual things. Maybe I'm just reading too much into that.

I feel like you're grasping at straws calling something that would be a novelty licence plate found in a cracker barrel gift store a feminist ad. Unless you meant indicative of feminist thinking, then yea alot of the time you're not far off.

In some ways they're right. Some MRAs are homophobic, some MRAs are racist, and some MRAs are misogynists, we can't just ignore manhood academy or people like Paul Elam who've taken their outrage and expressed it in the most childish way they can. We can no more ignore these people than feminists can ignore bigoted feminists like the transphobic Andrea Dworkin.
