(/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy.I mistakenly wrote Christianity as opposed to Catholicism, but at this point the discussion is turning pretty hostile, so I think we're done here. | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 08:51 PM
(/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy. The core belief of Christianity isn't that the pope is the infallible word of God. Sorry, this is just getting way off tangent. | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 08:08 PM
(/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy.I'm not going to fight you on the feminism one, as I don't know enough about feminist actions and what they've done. But the with Catholicism, I feel it gets a bad rap. People love to group together 2 billion people into one title of "christians" and say what they're doing right or wrong. Like I said before, every group in the world has their demons, from MRAs, to Republicans to Democrats, etc. It's a big, big statement to say that Catholicism is irrational. I'd avoid making big statements like … | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 07:14 PM
(/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy.Do you think that feminism has no valid points? | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 06:43 PM
(/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy. The big difference is that white supremacists are very clear about their opinions- whereas feminism is more ambiguous, and some people aren't informed enough (or are informed incorrectly) and can associate with the cause because it sounds great on paper. | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 08:18 AM
| -2 | (/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy. If someone were to call themselves a feminist, especially feminists I know who are very much moderate as opposed to a "radfem," is it the job of an MRA to convince them to use a different term? | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 07:42 AM |
(/r/rage) Tumblr feminists burning a book that they disagree with, cause ya know, the patriarchy.Just to clarify before I say anything, I'd consider myself a moderate that likes to think about the arguments on both sides, and I try to ask question, especially ones that aren't purposefully inflammatory. That being said, is it unfair to judge feminism by the actions of people like the girls here? They obviously don't seem too rational- burning a book about another serious social issue is unbelievably idiotic. But there are definitely people out there who have made positive strides for the wor… | /r/MensRights | 17/06/14 05:26 AM
Feminist subreddit made new defaultI asked what was wrong with feminism because I was wondering what the counterpoint to feminism was. I like to hear all sides of an argument before I jump to any conclusions. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/14 02:50 AM
Feminist subreddit made new defaultI do this weird thing where I go to /r/theredpill, /r/mensrights, then go right to /r/feminism and /r/twoxchromosomes. I love hearing about all sides of an argument, and there's incredibly valid points on every side. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/14 02:44 AM
Feminist subreddit made new defaultIf feminism came more with a label of "equal pay, equal rights, equal competition" and truly pursued that goal, do you think you'd be more of a fan? Or is if a flawed ideology to begin with? | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/14 02:33 AM
Feminist subreddit made new defaultIt's seen as kind of a "faux pas" in society today (or the west coast where I live, specifically) to identify as non-feminist or as a men's rights activist. This is more or less a personal question- why do you think that feminism and movements associated with it have garnered such support, but men's rights groups are often considered "radical" or "unnecessary?" | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/14 02:30 AM
Feminist subreddit made new defaultIsn't the idea of feminism to be for equality, though? In addition, if it puts women into the workforce, doesn't that mean that now we'll have a more effective workforce, as now business owners have double the applicants? In addition, I'm sure that you have women in your life who you care about and would benefit from feminism. What about them? | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/14 02:13 AM
| -1 | Feminist subreddit made new defaultWhat's wrong with feminism? Just asking, not making any sort of statement. Edit: Annnd downvotes. If you want to promote discussion, then try not to mute the person asking questions. | /r/TheRedPill | 08/05/14 01:52 AM |

Dinner OutNot to be a jerk, but this is a problem on both sides. I've had plenty of guy friends who will be on their phone the whole time when we hang out. I can admit to blowing a lot of stuff off playing video games. | /r/TheRedPill | 07/06/13 02:27 AM
