Really awesome drawing!! It's inspiring honestly. Good luck with tattoo design.

I agree, feeling that you're lucky leads to more chances taken, feel unlucky and you take less chances. It's about perspective.

I've called my mom out in front of her parents. Probably not the greatest idea but honestly I don't care if you're my mom, doesn't mean you get to be a shit bag. I only call women out if I care about them (my mom) or they are asking for it. I see it like calling out male friends for shit they do. It's how I show I care.

Lifting helps my insecurities but I agree with your comment wholeheartedly. Men definitely do have low self esteem, I do myself and I can see it around me. Excluding people that compete or do it to compliment a sport/competition, there are definitely men that just lift to feel better about themselves. I don't think this is a bad thing. Maybe it's because some people are misguided but if one truly wants to be big and strong more power to them. The key piece of information is whether one is doing …

If you look at bodybuilders in general, they often aren't as strong as power lifters or oly lifters. Bodybuilding does build strength but that's not the focus; rather hypertrophy.

Fantastic comment. I'm only 22 and starting to take bodybuilding a bit more seriously but I agree with what you say. I suppose it depends on one's goals and why they are doing it. Bodybuilding fuels my narcissistic side, but it's also a good compliment to powerlifting and calisthenics in my opinion. As a male that is very short and feminine looking, bodybuilding helps me feel more like a man I guess, and indirectly boosts my confidence. It's fun to be big and strong. Of course it also builds dis…

I am hearing what you are saying. I appreciate it thank you. I guess it's easier to be this way than change. You're right I need to just get over how things are since they aren't gonna change.

I agree with you, a lot of the stuff here is exaggerated. But I literally have gotten groped since I'm the only one to lift at work. It's also cause I was afraid to say anything or didn't think it was worth effort, BUT it did happen haha.

What do you call girls coming up to me and grabbing my arms or torso as if I'm their boyfriend? Maybe I should've said something but the fact that managers did it and OTHERS saw means that no one gives a shit.

Even working at my fast food job women would always want me to lift things and do tasks for them. Of course they made the same or more than me.

The way I see it is she is portraying herself as what is lit up. So she seems like this perfect girl when in reality you just don't see all the stuff in the shadows.

I do as well to be honest. Perhaps then use your motivation for pussy to just get yourself into a strong routine. Use the motivation to help develop discipline. If you can become disciplined then what would stop you from reaching your goals?

Start doing things for yourself and not others. Like in the OP, lift to get strong and healthy, not to attract women. Read and educate yourself just to become a better man, not to impress others. From my perspective it's just a matter of whether the activities you are doing are driven by a want to be better than others, or a want to be better than what you were. You really have to internalize that what you are doing is for your self and nobody else.

Can't take life too seriously right? If you know how to handle women for the most part why not enjoy them every now and then? Healthy doses I suppose.

Hey I'm a lot better thanks for asking. I'm starting to get over my various fears which is good. I'm starting to get over my social anxiety which is probably the biggest thing holding me back right now. I've also realised I need to be a good person just because it's the right thing to do. However I need to recognise when people aren't grateful and cut them out of my life.

Definitely. I've had sex with 2 girls and let myself fall for the second one. I guess part of me wanted to see what it felt like. It was fun but it's not cool to have (chemical?) feelings for a chick that just has sex for fun ahah.

I appreciate this series. Whenever I am going through a rough time this place seems to help bring me back to reality. I'm definitely a romantic so I often let my emotions and ideals get the best of me. It usually leads to more questions than answers. TRP truly helps me realise what I need to do to stay grounded and how to excel in "the real world". I'm thankful for all of you here and whoever may see this. Much love

Sumo could even be considered better (if it suits you) as your body can handle more volume compared to conventional. This is because of the muscles involved in each variant. Conventional puts a ton of stress on the low back, at least more than sumo. Sumo I find let's you use your legs more, which are way bigger than your spinae muscles.

This is something I've thought about recently and now I'm questioning my desire to compete regularly in powerlifting. Perhaps heavy weights should just be left for the platform and not in the gym.

I don't know. I need to change something because I've been on a downhill spiral since last year. Rationally I know I shouldnt be letting these people affect me, I think I'm letting my emotions control me too much.

Everyone. I'm too selfless I know, but it feels like the right thing to do when I am considerate/compassionate for others. I have always given people benefit of the doubt. I need to be better to myself. I try to hold myself to very high standards, but I also criticise myself too much.

The way I see AWALT is this: Not every woman may be a hypergamous gold digger/whore, or whatever you wanna describe them as. Many of them are. However because it is in woman's nature, all women have the capacity to be AWALT. They just need the right externals, such as being in a city, slut friends, social media, etc. I believe there ARE women out there worthy of having a family with, BUT they could easily be influenced and become AWALT. Especially since misery loves company.

Ya I'm only 22 so I'm expecting some resistance! At least my dad is supportive of it. My mom doesn't know but I know she wants grandkids. I think it would be fun to have kids (obv there's cons) but that means having to work a lot more, and much less freedom. No thanks!

You know overpopulation is a real thing right? Humans are causing so much damage to other species and the planet so you can fuck off with your "commit evolutionary suicide". People are still fucking like rabbits so who cares if some of us want nothing to do with it.

I lift to be healthy and because I think it's fun to work on something like your body where it can be an investment. A part of me hopes that I will inspire others to exercise and take care of themselves as well. Another part of me does it because I know I will be better off by lifting consistently - it will make life easier.

Wow didn't know this. So is life really just a game of manipulation, masks, lying, and backstabbing? Everyone just trying to get what they want regardless of if they hurt anyone along the way. I guess it's pretty negative to think of it that way, but I feel like I'm lying to myself when I try and think of the world (society/people) in a positive light ahah I mean even just the other day there was a fund raiser that I donated to. The guy was so ecstatic and happy that it seemed fake to me.

It's a very good thing that you feel this way. Better than falling in 'love' and getting burnt right? Grass is always greener on the other side. It really isn't worth it. If you REALLY want to fall in love with a girl just to see what it's like, just be careful man. I accidentally fell in love and stopped myself early before I got too attached. It's great while it lasts, but WHEN it does end, take care of yourself ok? I feel I should add, if you can, to hold off messing around with love until yo…

I kinda see your point but if you've been low key with a woman she wouldn't know much about you unless you've told her. Sexually I suppose she would know about you. But unless one has an insecurity I personally don't see any issue.

This happened to me. Limiting masturbation severely and no porn helps a LOT. I also stopped smoking weed which would normally make me super chill. Of course this will make you want to fuck anything that moves so make sure to keep exercising or at least something to keep you busy!

I mean if life is all a game who is to say the what TRP does is wrong? Personally it's not for me as casual sex feels empty to me. Doing what I want feels more fulfilling. But for those that enjoy it? Let them. It's like how some people like to chase money and get fast cars, and then there's me that just wants enough to be comfortable. This is just a ride, so to each their own!

And so many comments on her looks Fuuuuuuck man I find it so hard to get over the "anger phase". I'm so tired of society and our species as a whole. I wonder if we will ever evolve to the point where we can think for ourselves or use rationale instead of emotions. (on a large scale) I try to do my own shit but I get reminded of BS everywhere I go. I even try to be positive and not let this shit bug me, but obviously to no avail.

Music? I'm in a similar boat and I'm keeping my eyes open for a new hobby after powerlifting. I think making music would be a good one. Would take a while to actually get good anyway. Maybe take up ice cream eating? Some of my happiest days were when I had ice cream.

More men should look for this kind of love IMO. Love for animals, sounds, sights, the entirety of life! All of us here are aware how stupid women act, so let's spread our love to other living things that deserve it! Family, friends, and pets! Plants that we nurture in our gardens and in return give us food. Love really is the answer - we just mix it up with personal or romantic love. The important kind of love is the one you feel for other living things, including other people. Real compassion. …

I'm gonna bite and pretend you are genuine (not sure if you are). Think about it from our point of view. In reality if men talk about their issues or displeasures about women they are shunned for it and called names (misogynist). This even comes from other men!! A place like this gives us a spot to talk about stuff we don't often get to talk about. I compare communities such as this to be like "online pubs" without the liquor. Thanks that all makes sense. It must be that I have too much faith/hope that things will get better. I've definitely had more 'bad' interactions with people so all of what I said is maybe just a pipe dream of mine? I WANT the world to be ideal but that's not realistic obviously. I understand the point of focusing on myself since other people do, but if we have really been socially conditioned as much as you say shouldn't it be a good idea to try and rip through that conditioning? By being selfis…

More so I look at things ideally and the world we are in is far from ideal. I just look at how things COULD be - especially since I do see people do good things. We just need more people to actually WANT to work together. I don't want to force people to see my way. I just want people to question things for once and maybe think "Hey, we could definitely improve in X area if we did Y". I agree. I personally think it's irrational to get angry at or with women - at least over extended periods of time. We are all humans trying to find out what to do in a world that seems way too large for us. Everyone has their own fears, anxieties, strengths, weaknesses, experiences, etc. We should be working together rather than competing to beat each other in areas such as sex, money, power. I understand WHY we do it, our natural imperative is very strong. It's also part of how we are brought …

I dunno, if someone was in danger I wouldn't just watch, at least if I knew I could do something to help. Obviously I would look at the cost/benefit of the situation. If I end up getting killed or put in jail for legitimately helping someone then I accept that fate. If that's what I get for helping someone then I'd rather be dead/in jail than be a part of society.
/r/MGTOW20/05/16 04:02 PM

Same, it's hard to come to terms with the realisation that no women will care for me like my mom does. Nothing unfair about it, just disappointing. But I guess it's liberating at the same time since I can do whatever I want.

That's exactly why we go our own way. No marriage, no relationships. Who cares if they expect us to settle for used up whores? I'll have fun doing what I want to do when I want to. The women will forever be miserable anyway, never happy and will always reminisce the times when she was "desired and felt beautiful" by Chad.

No worries, I'm glad to help. I feel the same way - I'll feel good for a while and then not so good. Life literally feels like a roller coaster. Constant battle. Try to find whatever feels 'right'. For example, as much as I dislike most people, I can't help but feel empathy for everyone. And so it feels right to pursue a career where I can help people whether they like it or not. Yes that makes sense. Plus for me personally I try to direct that "sexual energy" towards pushing myself in the gym. Although that may be making things harder for myself with all the squats and girls in skin tight pants... Why did you stop consuming meat/animal products? I'm 22 and I've struggled with trying to find purpose to life as well. I'm very much into philosophy and spirituality and so my answer will be as such. I forgot to save this one blog post that made a lot of sense so I'm afraid I can't link it at the moment. The general idea of it was that the idea of trying to find purpose in life is synonymous with finding value in life. The catch is that life itself is the value. If you focus on being in the present and just enjoying life you will realise that…

I hope more people listen to you. I've thought about this recently and am thinking of trying it out. First I'm cutting out porn and only relieving myself when I absolutely have to - trying to prolong it each time, until I hardly think about it anymore.

Good to know.

/r/MGTOW06/05/16 02:52 AM

What should we do with our money in that case?
/r/MGTOW05/05/16 04:01 AM
2

I understand where you are coming from but that's not the case in my experience. Most of the women (not all of course) that I have dealt with at school and work have not been good people. They were emotional, flaky, spiteful and selfish. So much drama and gossip it's unbelievable. It's like high school all over again, except with 'adults' that are in their early-mid twenties. I do agree somewhat with you that people here take it a bit too far and clump all women into the "selfish cunt" category.…

It's okay man. You'll learn in time, and when you do we will welcome and support you. At least I will (;

Describes my job perfectly. And it's the reason I quit aha. All the women managers were incompetent and the place is going downhill. Shame
/r/MGTOW04/05/16 12:42 AM

For sure. The more I learn about women the more I try to avoid them in anything other than necessary small talk. Most of them I don't even find that attractive anymore, unless they are the kind of woman that is regularly exercising.

I think it's because we are dropping out of the rat race while everyone still competes. Much of TRP thinks we are pussies that just gave up/don't want to compete like the rest. Well no shit, at least we do a cost/benefit analysis of it before we dedicate our time getting jacked, learning game, spinning plates, etc. Feminists being hateful is obvious. The average person just doesn't seem to get it I guess. They've been brought up to believe that you can find "the one", find true love, live happil…

I've noticed the same. I get attention if I actively try to ignore women (got other shit to do) or just treat them as I treat guys.

Thank you. I myself keep falling into these self doubt holes. "why bother with doing anything now?" "women won't actually love me as I do them". "what's the point of focusing on myself anyway if no one cares? I care. And I'm very glad this community exists, because if something happened to my parents/brother I would seriously consider suicide. I feel like I've learned so much now that I hardly enjoy being with people at all. It's understandable to not want to be around someone like me that is cy…

I sometimes wonder if it's because many women are just way too emotional and don't actually try to reason things. It seems like every problem a women has is because she is not thinking logically/rationally.
/r/MGTOW21/04/16 07:47 PM
3

That's awesome. I'm pretty smart, but I doubt I'd be able to create machines/robots like that. Gotta be really satisfying though. That makes sense. So much more you can do with a robot anyway, I feel it would be a waste of resources to use for sex, at least at this point in time.
/r/MGTOW21/04/16 07:27 PM

I'm slightly concerned since I'm going into a medical field which has many women. Gotta keep my head down and put on a mask I guess.

Lol that "cya" tag

Why should one even give them guidance? I'll admit I'm still in the "anger phase" but I'm not really angry at women, just reality/people in general. Why should I give up my time to guide them? TRP says they will never truly give a fuck about me, so fuck giving them my guidance and time.

I think it would still be a good job, pretty low stress compared to other jobs. Just kind of a nit pick for me, it would just bug me to try and motivate people when I can tell they don't really want to put in the work. I actually try helping people whenever I can, as long as they actually listen.
/r/MGTOW16/04/16 12:58 AM

It's why I decided against being a personal trainer - you can't make someone want to improve themselves, they have to want it themselves. Because as you said, it's really not that hard, just involves a bit of time and effort.
/r/MGTOW14/04/16 10:08 PM

Wow thanks for the link. Will be easier to explain this to people now
/r/MGTOW14/04/16 08:27 PM

I do it for fun tbh, i like to hear how others try to rationalise it. It's a shame that more guys don't get it though. I have a few close friends that are otherwise awesome people and they are very open minded! But they still believe they will be happy if they get married and have a family. I don't know anyone personally that doesn't wanted to get married eventually. It's a damn shame.
/r/MGTOW14/04/16 08:09 PM

I believe many women/girls are more self aware than we give them credit for.
/r/MGTOW14/04/16 07:49 PM

Haha I honestly agree man. After seeing girls as well as working with them I believe that they are all pretty much two faced and complain/care way too much about stupid shit. I've even been friends with some of them and now I'm proud to say my only friends are male. Unfortunately I'm going into a career that has many women, but at least its a career that generally brings in smart/good people. Guess we have to just put on a "mask" unless we want to come under fire by women and men alike. Too many…

I find it much healthier for me to just accept that women can be fickle/emotional. No point in making yourself angry over it, you literally cause stress for yourself. Focus on the positives of your life, and if that excludes women, then so be it.

I'm at this point as well at the age of 22. I still need to look around for a doctor and see how much it would cost. My insurance might cover it but that would mean my parents finding out which I'm pretty sure wouldnt go over well.

Yup, I feel like I'm unnaturally forced to be an asshole just to survive in this society. If I act otherwise I get shit on and taken advantage of
/r/MGTOW13/04/16 08:15 PM

Yeah I've done the same in terms of introspection - went too far and caused me much anxiety since I began to look for answers for everything. Just need the balance as you said.
/r/TheRedPill12/04/16 06:25 PM

Thanks much for your replies. I've had nothing but bad experiences with girls/relationships and so I guess I am grouping all girls together which is unfair. I need to start having a more positive outlook.
/r/askTRP11/04/16 08:23 PM
1

I see your point, but the fact that many girls seem to have no loyalty at all really rubs me the wrong way. I know it's reality but it's hard for me to trust them when they are so fickle and emotional.
/r/askTRP11/04/16 06:21 PM
1

I'm not even sure. I prefer being alone and having freedom and I'm very seriously considering a vasectomy. Maybe it's my upbringing and the fact that literally everyone I talk to says they want to get married. I hope I can find someone that has the same values and beliefs as me but I doubt it. I know I focus on the "bad" parts of life too much but I don't know why. Do you mean a counsellor or therapist?

I've had shrooms a few times and they really opened me up. They opened me up emotionally. I felt that the point of life is to be with people and have human connections through empathy, compassion, and actual love for human beings. I became more positive and happy when I was sober and was nice to everyone. But then I basically get shit on and taken advantage of because I help everyone out and try to be nice to people. Wow thanks a lot for this reply. I'm only 22 and I haven't really looked into housing or anything yet since I'm still renting and going to school but I really appreciate this. Many of these terms I'm not familiar with but this gives me a bunch of info of work with!

I've tried changing a girl, or at least her views and perspectives. It doesn't work. They are solipsistic or just don't want to change.

Im about to quit my shitty fast food job cause they keep screwing me over and I have the money to handle being unemployed until I go back to school in September. So after i quit most days will probably be gym, cooking/eating, studying, reading, and gaming. I also want to start making music (hip-hop instrumentals/beats). I'm excited to do what I want when I want. So done with girls - waste of time when there's so much I want to do.

Thank you for this. I think this is one of my problems; I read too much about whats going on in the world even though there's not anything I can do about it. I should be focusing on the "reality" around me.

Great advice. I find myself relapsing a lot or crashing because I push myself too hard. I will be extremely strict and it gets to the point where I just get tired of it all. Nice to have breaks or to just ease back off the pedal a little bit

I've done shrooms myself a few times and they have "opened" my mind to how reality is. However this effect seems to be temporary for the most part - I'm more aware of my own mind but many of the lessons are lost after a couple weeks unless I actually take action while in sobriety. I think for many people shrooms make it much easier to meditate and see new perspectives of life. At least for me it did. I use shrooms every now and then as a tool to explore myself (and trips can be fun of course). B…

Now that you mention these specific benefits I think I can definitely agree with most of them happening to me as well. It's crazy how the "real world" changes or improves when we have introspection of ourselves and how our own minds work.

A different way of explaining mindfulness/awareness of one's own thoughts/emotions - I enjoyed it. I've definitely found that the more I am able to observe my thoughts + emotions instead of attaching myself to them, the more positive my life is. Regular meditation is key.

If you actually fear women then yes I think its bad. Sure there's a lot of bullshit we as men can get into because of women and in specific instances they can literally ruin our life. But I think fearing women is irrational and in doing so is silly. I think by fearing women there is more potential for you to act with emotion and impulsively rather than calmly and rationally. I think its better to just be cautious and realistic about everything like Sargon said. If you know the dangers and know h…

I've noticed the same as well regarding others seeming 'RP'. I have a small sample size as well but I've noticed it becoming more prominent. The girls I've been with know exactly what they are doing and "how things work". It probably helps that I've been a decent person to look to regarding relationships for my brother and a bunch of friends. I definitely agree, things come more naturally to me and then it just snowballs. I'm calmer which makes everything easier and feel more "natural". Things are starting to feel "right" I'm also surprised with how many guys are learning so quickly now. Ya definitely to each his own. I like being alone and prefer my friends to be MGTOW but most of my friends are not like that. They may not be "blue pill" but not MGTOW either. I'd still rather have friends/acquaintances even if not MGTOW. I'm just in that stage of my life I suppose, I enjoy learning about others and talking to others, but while keeping my distance and not giving in to my emotions.

While they are different, they do overlap IMO. I know a lot of guys that are MGTOW used to follow RP philosophies or at least have the knowledge of them. A lot of guys go MGTOW because of TRP.

mainly freedom. but also because I know how shitty/slutty women can be so why tie myself down and give them a prime opportunity? also I find most of them boring so fuck having a relationship where I spend lots of MY free time with them. there are pros but I don't believe they outweigh the cons plus I know most of them won't actually respect me

I agree. I'm 21 and lost my virginity this year. I've had sex with one other girl since then but once I lost my virginity (to gf at time) it concreted my idea that I really don't need a women in my life at all. I like being by myself and if I want company ill go hang out with my male friends. (I also have female friends that can be chill as well) that's not to say before I lost my virginity that I thought differently. I always thought sex was overrated and now that I've had it a bit I still stan…

definitely got the right idea! since i was in high school my mindset was "why get a gf? theres porn" i preferred being alone or lifting or doing shit like that. I lost my virginity this year at 21 to my gf at the time and if anything it reinforces my opinion that girls are a waste of time/effort and money

I'm only 21 and so I have a lot ahead of me. But one of my main goals in life is to retire by age 40-45, or at least achieve financial independence. Literally everyone I mention this to is in disbelief or say I'm being very ambitious. I mean I have no plans of kids or getting married so lots of money saved there... I never really thought of building my own home before but after reading your post it would probably be very fun and rewarding

thanks for this post. I'm back at college and recently lost my virginity last week, which gave me quite a bit more confidence. I've actually thought about approaching girls more often, and your post is making me think about it more. Makes me really wanna put myself out there

I understand what youre saying, that kinda makes sense. I wouldnt say its really a huge deal anymore (it was 2-3 years ago). I mean I'm seeing a girl I met at our back to school party last week so I'd say my anxiety isnt too bad anymore.

ya i do need to overcome it, i am not using it as a crutch though. I am constantly improving myself every day, i just choose not to chase girls. Back to school last week, first party on friday and am now seeing a girl i met there. My anxiety is MUCH better than it was; i'm improving every day.

well im a 21yo virgin that is inherently introverted (as well as social anxiety added in). I mean i've improved a lot since finishing high school and starting college in terms of being outgoing, but in the end I'm happy by myself. This isn't to say i dont like being social, i have some close friends, and socialise at school/work. Most of my free time is spent by myself however. Only had 1 gf in gr 12 (lol), and as i said above havent had sex, so cant help in that department, but I really recomme…

how do you want to achieve that
/r/MGTOW12/08/15 02:05 AM

short term: compete in nationals for powerlifting (1-2 years) complete needed training for firefighting + paramedic (2 years) hopefully get a job as a paramedic asap out of school (2-3 years) get a motorcycle and license (3 years) long term: retire early (like maybe 45-50?) travel most of europe, asia, etc (maybe move out of Canada) pull 700 stay healthy so i can lift until i die And generally I just want to keep improving as a person and learn/read. I love reading for fun as well as things like…

Well when I first learned of TRP it was always on other places of reddit where they called us all assholes and misogynists. I saw a few extremes/bad apples and figured it was all like that so I brushed this sub off. Then I started seeing TRP pop up more often... and actually came here and read stuff on my own. Very glad I did.

Ya definitely! It's so satisfying and rewarding to make a delicious meal or meals, and to know it's healthy too! edit: and of course even if you make foods that arent super healthy, still very satisying

Probably cook, I used to feel 'too lazy' to do it. I have boat loads of free time and now that I'm becoming more serious in sports and nutrition, i find myself making all kinds of food; and many healthy alternatives to dishes.
