Men are better at suicide because we get things done. As men, we are expected to perform without an excuse. I can see how this would translate into self-harm. Nobody cares about our struggles, so we might as well get it done right the first time. I could not imagine a worse purgatory than botching a suicide and being left as a ward of the state. Imagine the abuse you would suffer with a diminished mental state at the hands of a state provided caretaker.

Just from the abundance of false accusation stories we hear, why would any man want to jump in to save her. You see a man beating his s/o and you get involved she will turn and attack you 9 times out of 10. This is the absolute state of the Western world in 2024 and you can thank feminism. All it takes is 1 accusation, and a lifetime of work goes in the trash. I saw it happen to my best friend from the army. He spent 3 years in prison waiting for a trial. He was found not guilty.

Im going to tell you outside of this thread on reddit that nothing you do will be enough. You could work 3 jobs and the women on here will say you're a bad father. You could do all the housework minus cooking, and it isn't enough because she warmed some chicken breast up for you. I made a similar complaint about working 60 hours a week, doing all the housework minus cooking and taking care of a hobby farm and I was told I was an ungrateful, lazy, bad father.
