We used to end every phone conversation with "I love you", "I love you too". I've stopped, but she still keeps saying it. When she says it in person, I say something like "I know", or "You better!" and smack her on the ass or grab her by the neck and kiss her with a deep peck...then smack her ass. Then I try to find opportunities to say it to her as a reward for a desired behavior. Maybe 2-3 times a month, I'll reply to her "I love you" with a very confident, almost commanding, "Hey. I love YOU"…

I'd like to make a suggestion for this ongoing discussion. I think a great way to approach this conversation would be to do one commandment per week as opposed to one per day. This should allow a much richer conversation that starts with the guys who may have that particular commandment mastered to share their experience right off the bat. There can be a chance for some specific questions and answers exchanged among the less and more experienced. And, this would create the opportunity for everyo…

I wish I could find the reference to this, I don't know if it was in the sidebar, or a post/comment, but here it is: If you take back (or in this case keep around) a woman who's cheated on you, she will never fully respect you because you didn't have enough self respect to next her. You may even put in some serious work, get yourself jacked, your life in tip-top shape and re-build yourself into an alpha beast 3-4 levels above her SMV, and maybe then she'll respect you a lot more than she did whe…

I also recommend resetting to an overt Captain/First Officer arrangement in your marriage. Yes I said "overt." MOST dudes on the manosphere seem to disagree with me, but I think the Captain/FO is something you can actually discuss with your wife. I'm leaning towards this way myself. I haven't yet, but I've hinted at it. For example, when I took control of the budget, she gave me some shit about it because she makes a large portion of the income (~40%), but I am taking full control. After not let…

This is pretty much exactly what I came to say, so I will upvote it and emphasize that you should read through the whole MMSL book especially the parts about good beta/bad beta. You (and I) will just need to make sure you determine the right time after the kid comes to start ramping back up the alpha in the ratio. Maintaining frame will be good for her as the hormones take her all over the place and you remain her rock. Remember: XV. Maintain your state control "You are an oak tree. You will not…

The book "When I say not, I feel guilty" is right up your alley. I'm working my way through it now, so far, good stuff.

Has she never been into cuddling, or has this only been with the pregnancy. From what I understand, their hormones can be messed up even for several weeks after birth. My wife is in her second trimester and so far its been simply hit or miss with what types of affection she enjoys.

You might want to also xpost this on /r/marriedredpill Two questions come to mind for you to ask yourself. Are you maintaining frame as well as you think you are? Are you still holding on to some of the anger phase and sometimes coming off as angry Beta butthurt (not a fan of that term, but don't know a proper word to replace it) as opposed to actually Maintaining a strong Frame?

I'm willing to work my ass off to get it to just skin , but I still feel that I will need it. I would be patient and wait until you get down to just skin (body fat <10%) and then give it some time to see how much it will tighten up (start supplementing with gelatin and vitamin c now too). I imagine you would experience scarring from the surgery and that would be a decision factor. It's entirely possible that you won't need it, especially since you have youth on your side, but the key factor is i…

I had all sorts of problems with Mint updating the actuals with the budget. So even though you'd categorize a transaction under groceries, for example, it didn't update the total available for the month, quickly or sometimes at all. I need that info to be as real-time as possible for my wife so she can just look at what she can spend in the budget category that month. And the YNAB app for the phone very simply shows it. Also, i watched their videos and stuff and really do like their different ap…

This does need to change. Start now. It is not benign. It will grow into resentment on both your parts. I am working very hard on this same thing with my wife. I'm trying to balance the fact that she's pregnant and has very real requests that make sense for me to do to help v.s the bullshit requests that have grown into a way too regular thing (regardless of her pregnancy). I've realized I need to slow play a lot of these RP transitions (except all my personal improvement). Here's some things th…

I've been using variations on your last point quite a bit. It's the one thing I think that makes the transition easier while she's pregnant. It's this major keystone reason I can point to when she attempts to challenge any changes that even her hamster at its best can't refute. So baby steps seem to be working (pun intended) so far.

I think you're overlooking /u/ElvisGratton3x 's advice here too hastily. Like everything else discussed in MRP, it's about the pulling, not pushing. So doing more to give her the tingles so that she's much more receptive to being woken up and transition that into the norm might be the way to go. So working on your overall SMV and Alpha behaviors is not bad advice to help you with what try to do to make specific changes. As for a more specific approach, perhaps, while you're preoccupied with a pr…

I would very much look forward to reading about your experiences so far. The detailed success / transition stories, I find to be the most helpful. Nearly all of us are here because we're putting those beta ways behind us and these accounts of what has worked and what hasn't really help those of us still struggling to strike the right balance of the alpha / red pill and the beta required to make the transition to a Red Pill Marriage and keep it going.

It's amazing what your instincts can tell you (and logic in this case too). I know I'm echoing what's been already said, but she's most likely fucking this guy. I had the same thing happen to me at the end of an LTR. We were living together, and she took a bath instead of a shower before going out to study with a guy in her Law School study group. In my gut, I absolutely knew they were going to fuck, but was way too beta to even start to know what to do about it. But we shortly after broke up, s…

Any good advice or examples on passing these security tests? I'm dealing with this kind of thing right now with the wife and you're not kidding, tricky can be an understatement.

Oh, your opinion is correct. I'm fairly trained. This is one of the major things I want to break out of. I think those are some good strategies. I feel like I have to slowly reverse train her on this. That's why I've started with the please and thank you stuff. I think I'll escalate it to not doing it at all if she doesn't say please. Then, incorporate some of the tips you gave with flat out unavailability, such as if she's watching TV I'll be working on the house. Honestly, since swallowing the…

Thanks, I'm definitely looking forward to being a father and definitely want to make her pregnancy go as well as possible. That's why I'm trying to figure out the right balance here, while maintaining boundaries that will be important, even more so once we have a kid. Your point 6 is, of course, how I feel. If she's down and out, I'm there to help her. I think until I better can tell what's a genuine need and some bs request, I should err on the side of helping out. Patience, might be the key fo…

Thanks, good input. I just ordered the kindle book. I'm assuming that FOG and Negative assert are from the book based on a quick google search, I've not yet heard those terms. Also, reading up on Loyalty tests. It looks like I should be leaning Beta for that type of thing and saying yes. Is this what you're suggesting? What I did say was that of course we'd be buying plenty of new stuff for the kid, just that there was a balance of stuff that would be given to us new and second hand vs what we'd…

She would ask for things. We might both be sitting on the couch and she'd ask me to get her a drink or a snack, etc. And I'd say of course and do it. The thing that bugged me most was that I might be up and get her something, sit back down and literally as my butt hits the couch, she'd ask me to get her something else. I would bring that type of thing to her attention and tell her she'd have to wait until I got up again. Not too many of those were done of my own volition. Certainly, if I was get…

Thanks, I like what you're saying. So I might not have been perfectly clear. I had been doing the things for her since before she got pregnant. They were all unnecessary before hand, and now at least 70% are necessary. But the first thing I noticed after TRP was the fact that although she didn't ask in a demanding way, it seems to me that if you ask for something that you can do yourself, the bare minimum is to ask nicely with a please and show appreciation. So now I am starting out with the ple…
