After you do that she can’t consult or hire any of them due to conflict of interest. Make sure they’re paid consultations otherwise this strategy probably won’t work.

My lawyer told me that judges are basically obligated to stop what they are doing and review the TRO and if there is even a slim chance that the allegations could be true they will approve it. Could happen in a day’s time if you really wanted to. Scary stuff.

This sounds a little off the wall but I have an app I use for hunting that shows names associated with properties (I use HuntStand, but I’ve also used onX) and you can search property ownership by name. Also try to widen your search criteria in case she’s using an alias or a shortened version of her name. Also some of those records don’t get updated very often so if it was pretty recent it may not actually show up on record searches yet.

She was getting flirty with people years ago, and you “addressed” that with her. And now she’s sexting someone again. How did that go? Did it work the first time? Did she learn her lesson? Of course not. I was reasonably pissed and gave her an ultimatum to which she treated me like a king and I, foolishly, took her back. She changed back pretty soon after and I moved goal posts to justify it. One thing I’m starting to notice that my dad said to me recently is simply, “Generally, people don’t cha…

I absolutely see where you’re coming from with this. And this brings me to a point I didn’t bring up before because my post would get way too long lol. It’s always been a known fact to both of us that our son is quite well behaved when with either one of us individually. It’s when we are all 3 together that he knows he can get a rise out of her and the power struggle begins. Which is honestly one of the original justifications I had for why separating would actually be somewhat beneficial to him…

This is absolutely true. There are many times that her anger would boil over and she would shut herself in the bedroom for a couple hours, leaving me to care for our son. Then when she comes out she asks why I never came to check on her. That situation happened quite a bit and started to make me angry which is such a confusing feeling while having to parent your kid who just got yelled at.

Well to be fair in my state I’m not allowed to divorce while she’s pregnant. I guess separate bedrooms could work just so I’m at least present for the kids/her pregnancy.

Thanks so much for the reply… unfortunately I already spilled the beans about the messages so that cat is out of the bag. The law you mentioned does not apply in my state (MO) so no angle there. As for finances we have had separate bank accounts for 3 years now so no need to hide anything. Now, I really think she is under the impression that she’s reeled me back in so I honestly don’t think she’s pursuing divorce on her own. She’s probably too fearful of abandonment to actually go to that level …

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
